Norfolk House Nursery - Harborne Road

As a truly anxious mother, I can honestly say the crew at Norfolk House are wonderful. From the first day my boy started in the baby room I always felt assured and comfortable he was being well looked after. I am always given informative updates on how each day has been. After almost 8 months it’s a pleasure to be greeted by the team on a morning and watch my young lad run into the room. Thank you to all the team! A great place I would enthusiastically suggest for any parent.

We had a terrible period with a previous childcare centre. Our boy adores everything and everyone at Norfolk early‑years hub. That makes us delighted. We enjoy the people. But at Norfolk, we know our little one is in protected and caring hands. We obviously trust them.

The team has given tremendous support and extra effort given to my boy. The professionalism and care that is given to my boy are strongly appreciated and I am grateful that he can have extremely kind instructors to help him in different ways! Furthermore, it is always touching when seeing everyone in the childcare centre, not only the personnel but also the little classmates, being so understanding and helpful to my little one all the time. I could see the success in their effort for educating the little ones, being loving and caring always, which makes every classmate treat each other the same way in their daily lives. I am so glad that I can see my son’s headway day by day since he went to the childcare centre, seeing him carrying a exceptionally pleased smile when leaving the nursery setting every day proves that we have made the right decision to choose Norfolk House Nursery – Harborne Road.

My boy has been at Norfolk House Nursery for almost 2 years now. My young lad has formed great bonds with his key workers who have been incredibly encouraging and fundamental in his advancement. He bounds in with a huge smile and is as equally excited to see his friends as he is the personnel. I look forward to sending my second little one there in January! I have been incredibly impressed with the management of the site and the lengths they go to accommodate the kids and parents.

The childcare centre have been so helpful in helping me get back to work and settling my baby in. I now go to work confident he is with people that know him and support about him. I treasure seeing the pictures of what he has been up to and hearing about all the different foods he has eaten.

The manager and her team are like a family and hands-on with everything, they’re fantastic and have been instrumental in my and my daughter’s respective journeys. My young lady has grown tremendously in skill, character and confidence and I massively credit this to Norfolk House Nursery HR. My little one has transitioned between the rooms with ease and joy, and everything is a result of the personnel (both office and rooms). The early‑years hub had and continues to do its utmost to make you feel at ease and create a warm welcoming space, second only to home. The premises are brilliant, with beautiful open and creative spaces, and an fantastic garden too. Everyone is so attentive and responsive to my needs as a first-time parent, as well as my daughters, needs, which have adapted from baby to young lady. Thank you for what you do day in and day out for us all. My young lady has been going to Norfolk House Nursery since Jan 2021 (she joined babies 2), and I couldn’t sing their praises higher.

She is absorbing new things every day and I’m surprised at just how much the team do with the youngsters to encourage their competences. Being “covid baby” we were expecting different struggles from her brother that joined the nursery setting a few years ago, but the struggles simply didn’t happen. The relationships she holds with all the personnel clearly mean the world to her, after returning from our holiday she couldn’t wait to see the team in her base room and ran in giving them a massive hug! For a parent that’s just what you want to see. The food always smells fantastic and the early‑years hub itself is spotless. My little one has been at the childcare centre since she was a baby, now a self‑assured 2 year old she is now in the toddler room and I believe the reason she is so assured is down to her experiences she has at childcare centre. She treasures the team and wants to go to nursery setting every day, even at weekends. Handovers are always so personal to the kid and just shows how much the personnel support.

It’s a fantastic childcare centre. It’s really hygienic and modern, with great service overall. My grandson is in Babies and has been attending since the end of 2021. The crew are really warm and kind when I collect him and they do a great job. He adores it here.

We also adored the Xmas performance and all of the artwork and baking the little ones do throughout the year. I enthusiastically advocate the early‑years hub to other parents. The extracurricular activities the early‑years hub organises are fantastic, including tennis, football, forest school and rhythm time. Norfolk House is a great setting for my three-year-old boy, who is currently in the preschool room. He has been there since he was eight months old and has thrived, always making great connections with the personnel and other kids.

All that we could ask for – great team, super spotless setting, welcoming and approachable manager, family events we’re invited to. However with great patience, expertise, and attention to detail from the babies crew and his fantastic Key Person, in no time he was settled and thriving! Where do I start? We were initially nervous about how he would settle at childcare centre as he was quite young, extremely particular and had not gotten into a stable routine. I’d definitely suggest. He is always delighted on the way into childcare centre, and literally launches into the arms of the cordial babies crew. Our youngest is currently in the Babies Room and started here in September. We’ve been lucky enough to secure a place for all 3 of our boys at this fantastic early‑years hub. Baby brings home the best keepsake art (handprints etc.) and a marvellous garden!
