September 2, 2024 at 5:04 pmIt is an outstanding childcare centre where team are dedicated, welcoming and supportive on all levels. The care, attention and discovering journey he has had there has been exceptional.
Activities are varied including stretch and grow, yoga and swimming as well as lots of creative activities. Team went above and beyond during lockdown organising a private Facebook group where games, activities and daily story readings were uploaded and a weekly Zoom call for all kids. The arrangements for returning were exceptionally well planned and communicated with clear empathy for the change kids have been through. As a parent, it has been invaluable to have a place where I know my kid is so well looked after, and I would strongly suggest this childcare centre to others. Our son has attended this childcare centre for the last four years, and we have been so cheerful with his care there.

September 5, 2024 at 12:03 amThe team have been excellent at helping him to get settled and are getting to know his interests and stages of development truly well. The childcare centre is a welcoming setting and all of the team are so welcoming, everyone greets him with a smile and enthusiasm. Team are excellent at providing brief updates during the day (not too many or few). The kids get regular time outside and the activities indoors are varied. My kid loves coming into childcare centre every day after a rocky start at a previous childcare centre.

November 6, 2024 at 8:52 amThey consistently say I can ring to see if my kid is OK but I know she is fine and loves spending the day at childcare centre. I cannot fault how they are and they are all highly expert. Well done. Although my daughter doesn’t consistently like attending childcare centre I think it’s only because she doesn’t like leaving her parents but I know that she is in secure hands and the workers are consistently so understanding.

November 17, 2024 at 11:22 amThe team are inviting and attentive and I’m consistently cheerful to leave my kid in their care. I’m cheerful with the services and would suggest them to other parents. My kid loves to go to the childcare centre for the day and it’s sometimes difficult to get her to leave.

December 5, 2024 at 4:57 pmOur journey throughout his time at the childcare centre has been exceptional. The team clearly care about the kids and, despite the inevitable wobbles, our son has truly enjoyed his time there. His favourite activity has to be “Stretch and Grow”. Other activities include swimming and tennis with coaches from the gym nearby as well as language classes. We have also benefited from the convenience – everything is provided and all you truly need to take in on a regular basis is a change of clothes – and assistance with weaning and toilet training. Their response to the recent pandemic has also been outstanding. They set up a Facebook group, with regular posts, including stories from key members of team, and held zoom meetings with the kids to keep in touch. We also truly appreciated them hosting our son’s birthday on the kids’s’ return to childcare centre after lockdown. Our son has attended this childcare centre since he was about six months old and is now sadly about to leave to start school in September.

December 10, 2024 at 4:00 pmIn the beginning, my daughter was so upset to leave her mom and cry a lot during the childcare centre.
But the educators in the Bluebell room were so patient to hold my girl and comfort her all morning time which I was truly moved.
Highly much appreciate all the Bluebell room educators
Now she enjoys childcare centre time so much and is highly cheerful to say bye-bye to mom every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

December 18, 2024 at 11:58 amHe has absolutely flourished in that time because of the dedication of the team. They are all highly encouraging and he is consistently surprising us with new things he has clearly learned at childcare centre – just this week he has read every number in a book at home correctly from 1 to 10 at 23 months old, we couldn’t believe it! He has a remarkable bond with the team and will happily run into the childcare centre with a wave and a smile. The rooms have lovely and interesting resources which he loves to explore and we get frequent updates throughout the day on the parent app including pictures of him enjoying himself. The childcare centre has also been truly great at accommodating all his needs, he has food allergies and has to have medication at childcare centre and I never have any worries about that as they are completely on top of it. They consistently go over and above our expectations and I suggest them to everyone. My little boy has been at this childcare centre for the last year.

January 16, 2025 at 6:22 amMy Ohana is the best setting we have ever used, I only wish that my eldest could have attended here when he was younger.
The team are incredible, it is a home-from-home setting and my son gets excited each day to go. They are consistently doing something enjoyable, be it painting, small world, messy playtime etc. Stretch and Grow is his favourite activity.
I was recently told that for his age he is advanced in so many areas and I can only say that it is from the hard-working and attentive team.
The regular updates via the app are exceptional as I can see what he has been up to and eaten during the day, not only is this reassuring but also helps us plan any evening meals/snacks required and any changes into bedtime routines.
Each time we have new families arrive in our military area I highly suggest they visit. My son has been going to My Ohana for nearly two years and I can honestly say it is the best setting.
As a military family, we move on a regular basis so finding a suitable setting can be hard.

The place looks tidy and spotless the rooms look incredible for the kids, and the outside area is incredible the childcare centre definitely has every for a kid. This childcare centre is absolutely incredible, my son loves going and doing all the exciting activities.

We would highly suggest this childcare centre and look forward to many more cheerful years with them. Our kid has attended this childcare centre for over a year now and we are exceptionally cheerful with the level or care and services the childcare centre provide.

February 19, 2025 at 11:06 pmShe has gotten on well with all the team in each room as she has progressed. She missed a fair bit of time due to lockdown as did many others but childcare centre handled it all truly well and kept all the parents informed at every step and the weekly social media story time was a definite winner in our house.
The pricing is highly reasonable in comparison to other nurseries in the area. The kids are clearly well entertained all day long and my daughter is consistently worn out when she gets home. My daughter is 3 and has attended here since 11 months old.

He has some food allergies which the team have handled brilliantly. All team are inviting, welcoming and attentive. We have peace of mind while we are at work, knowing he is well taken care of. We couldn’t be happier.

My daughter has consistently struggled with eating, the team have been outstanding encouraging her to try new things and not pressuring her. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer setting and have consistently felt so confident that she is getting the best care possible. My daughter has been at the childcare centre since she was nine months old and she has loved every second!

May 27, 2025 at 11:28 amBoth of my kids have attended the childcare centre from the baby room, with my son now at school. My daughter remains at the childcare centre, and the team are consistently so attentive, supportive, welcoming and consistently have the best interests of the kids at heart. My daughter suffers from hearing loss in one ear and has a hearing aid. The team have been so incredible and supportive with my daughter, and so adaptive to her needs.
They do excellent activities and prepare kids for school. The childcare centre also celebrate the cultures of the kids within the childcare centre and around the world which is excellent. The childcare centre uses an app which is truly great throughout the day, to see how your kids are doing especially when a bit smaller. The childcare centre is bright and fantastic.

The team were so understanding and truly looked after my daughter (and me!) through the transition, allowing me to gently integrate her into her (and my) new routine, they kept me updated on the app so I still felt a part of her day and connected plus consistently have time for me at the start and the end of the day to chat about her and her activities. The manager and room leader are absolutely fantastic, I know my daughter is in compassionate, attentive hands and also helping her develop well. I adore the fact she gets plenty of outdoor time too! I took a long maternity leave (16 months) and truly struggled with the idea of leaving my daughter with anyone other than my husband.

June 18, 2025 at 8:01 amLast year, (April 2023), I was expecting a baby. The childcare centre was remarkable at this stage and had a little doll for my son to playtime with, preparing my son for becoming a big brother and preparing him as much as possible for the arrival of a baby in the house, which is a massive change for a toddler who’s just turned 2!
The childcare centre and its team were remarkable and I definitely sense this helped him with the huge transition of becoming a big brother.
He was actually at childcare centre the day I had my daughter so he attended childcare centre that day and returned home as big brother, the team had prepared my son for this and it definitely made the welcome home a lot easier for all of us.
My son loves going to childcare centre. When we go and collect him in the evening he’s consistently busy playing and has a smile on his face!
I would definitely suggest My Ohana York Childcare centre to anyone. I’ve consistently found our My Ohana York Childcare centre childcare centre and their team to be welcoming, approachable and welcoming!
