My Ohana Cheltenham Nursery

The team are really welcoming and work hard to ensure my kid is cheerful. I sense my kid has made great bonds with other kids, enjoys a variety of activities and consistently comes home smiling from this childcare centre. My Ohana is a excellent childcare centre.

Everyone at the childcare centre has been so supportive and welcoming to the kids and us parents too. In a matter of days both my kids have settled into their new routine and surroundings beautifully. I receive daily updates, pictures and videos on how they are doing on the childcare centre’s mobile app which is so reassuring, and it’s a excellent tool to communicate with the key persons too. I especially adore the big open plan rooms which have lots of little playtime areas – including a snack station where kids can pay with playtime money for their snacks which is just so cute. The preschool kids go to forest school once a week which my daughter adores. I would really suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking for a childcare centre setting, we couldn’t be happier there. My kids joined the childcare centre 3 months ago, and honestly, the settling in couldn’t have gone any better.

My youngest absolutely loves going to childcare centre. The team have helped our family through milestones like dropping naps, losing dummies, potty training a Frozen obsession and so many more! My eldest who is the youngest in her class at junior school has settled in so quickly because of the preparation that the pre-school team gave her! Forever grateful to the team for being so attentive to my kids. The team are absolutely remarkable!

The team are so attentive to the kids and you can tell they really have a bond with them. At all stages, whether it’s healthcare issues or developmental they are so supportive – They fully potty trained my son!
The setting and facilities are lovely and they do so much discovering-based playtime that my son has become so confident in the time he has been there.
I know my son is in secure hands when he’s there and couldn’t suggest My Ohana Cheltenham enough. My Ohana Cheltenham is just incredible.

I’ve seen both my kids flourish here from 12 months up to starting school. The attention to detail is second to none and the quality of provision outstanding. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone who is looking for a attentive supportive setting which goes above and beyond to enable kids to settle, sense ‘at home’, make friends, learn and develop in all areas. My son has now left to go to school but thoroughly enjoyed his three and a half years at My Ohana. I cannot fault the team. They are attentive and empathetic to the kids. The preschool room team, in particular, go above and beyond in putting on remarkable graduation shows and this year a carol concert too. They are consistently thinking up new initiatives and including the parents where possible. All the team are welcoming and approachable and willing to talk over any concerns. The team are excellent at thinking of inspiring and engaging playtime ideas, turning the outdoor playtime area into a campsite (with real tents, wash station and toilet tent) one week, a winter wonderland (with a hot chocolate booth and various winter-themed tuff trays) the next, a horse race ground the next and in the height of the heatwave a series of paddling pools appeared. All the kids come out with smiles, as well as lots of artwork. Remarkable childcare centre. Both my kids have attended My Ohana Cheltenham Childcare centre since 12 months old.

Both kids adore to go and race in! The team are supportive, welcoming and well‑informed and the atmosphere is welcoming, enjoyable and attentive. They’ve accommodated our reusable nappies and they are consistently approachable for a chat and development updates. The key workers know the kids really well and have excellent relationships with them, even when they are not key workers! Team and management have been supportive and expert throughout the Covid-19 situation and have zero issues with care and safety which is in place. Enrichment sessions with Forest School, music and outings have been excellent for the kids. I have found both playtime and the things which they have learnt at childcare centre or at home, such as table manners, songs and reciting rules is from Forest School. I loved that there is opportunity to go outside daily in all weather, which isn’t available to other nurseries in Cheltenham. The parent app has been outstanding for us. Both my kids started at this childcare centre as babies and I have recommended it to friends based on our journey.

Every team member clearly loves the kids and it shows. The updates from the childcare centre has been incredible, we adore getting photos through the app, especially now that we aren’t able to go inside the childcare centre due to Covid-19. The team supported us at home when the childcare centre was shut, sending us ideas for activities and videos of the team reading stories. We have felt secure sending our kid back as soon as it was open, the measures in place have been scrupulously followed and we would have been lost without this provision during a trying year. The management team have been really receptive to feedback, working with me and involving me in improving the menu for lunches, which is varied and interesting for the kids. The best thing is, our kid simply loves going to childcare centre, he is excited every day. Our kid has attended this childcare centre for the past two years and I have been continually impressed with the childcare centre, in particular over the last twelve months of the pandemic.
