My First Word...Grows Up Portslade

Every time we walk past he tells me a story from his week and is consistently excited to return. My son loves his time at his childcare centre setting.

My daughter seems to have settled so well and loves telling me what she has done and played with. The team are all excellent and have been lovely since my daughter started and she is discovering all their names and she seems happier since starting childcare centre. 10/10.

My daughter is leaving to go to school and we will miss you all very much.

My daughter has been very cheerful here. Lovely team and atmosphere. Flexible with hours/days. A excellent outdoors forest school is attached to this childcare centre giving you both options for your kid to grow and playtime.

We will miss him attending once he goes to school. My kid has settled really well and we have watched him grow from a little toddler into a young man with the help of all the team at My First Word.

The childcare centre has a real family sense to it. Team are all lovely and attentive to the kids’s needs, also easy to talk to. The forest school is remarkable for the kids to get close to nature, enabling the kids to appreciate nature in a world full of technology. They are consistently cheerful to re-arrange days to fit my needs of childcare. You can tell the team really do care about the kids. My kids recently started here, they are both very cheerful here.

Grows up since October and are consistently excited and cheerful to see the childcare centre building and team. The team are excellent and keep me regularly updated via the parent app and emails. They are consistently supportive rather, I would say, they go the extra mile to help and for the wellbeing of kids. I would suggest going to My First Word … Grows up in a heartbeat! Well done on the excellent job you all do! My both kids have been going to My First Word …

He started when he was 6 months and has grown and developed under the remarkable care of the team here. Whenever my daughter and I collect my son, my daughter says she wishes she was still at My First Words and not school!. The childcare centre has all the features you’d expect of a childcare centre and more, space outside, playtime area, a forest school, a baby room, excellent homemade meals, genuinely attentive team and next door to a park. There really is no faulting this childcare centre. My daughter attended and loved My First Word and now my son aged 4 does too.

My daughter has never had any issues with not wanting to come to My First Word…Grows Up Porstlade as she has so much enjoyable and loves spending time with her peers and the team. When searching around originally for places to send her, I loved the fact that My First Word…Grows Up Portslade were so welcoming and approachable with any questions I had. It truly has been fantastic to watch my daughter flourish in such a inviting and inviting setting where she is cheerful and confident to get involved. The forest school is a particular favourite and she more often than not returns home covered in mud, paint and a huge smile on her face! The team are remarkable, consistently on hand with any concerns and are incredibly supportive. They take excellent pride in attentive, helping to teach and nurturing imaginations. I definitely recommended to anyone looking at a childcare centre placement, my daughter is due to start school soon and we’ll be sad to not see the same welcoming faces weekly, although excited for the next stage! An absolutely fantastic place!

They have a excellent setup including a fantastic Forest School in the garden. My little one (17 months) went off without a backwards glance and is loving it. This is a lovely childcare centre with a family sense.
