Mount Carmel Kindergarten - Sandpit House

She started attending Mount Carmel Kindergarten this year and she loves her educators and settled very smoothly. We appreciate a very inviting welcoming atmosphere, very attentive team. You can see how well our girl is developing and how much enjoyable she is having there – the variety of experiences she is having is exceptional. We could not be happier with our choice of school for our preschooler.

Our son is delighted to walk through their door every day which is what every parent hopes for. All the team know you and your kid so well – it really does sense like an extended family. This is our second kid to attend, and we’ve been recommending it to everyone since the first month our daughter joined. As parents we sense relaxed and secure on the days he’s there and can’t wait to hear and see what activities he’s been up to. Mount Carmel is helping to shape our boy into a lovely well rounded little man. The care, nurture and teaching provided are more than we could have ever hoped for.

The educators are consistently so welcoming and nurturing. It has been so lovely and reassuring to see our kids flourish into the cheerful, independent little people they are now. Thank you to everyone at Mount Carmel, you guys are truly incredible! We have been fortunate enough to have experienced the childcare centre settings at another branch as well as Sandpit House, and both have been outstanding.

For my eldest, Mount Carmel provided the perfect transition to school, developing her enjoyment of discovering, physical activity and social interaction. My youngest is at Mount Carmel Sandpit House now, in her pre-school year and is thoroughly enjoying all that Mount Carmel has to offer. We could not suggest more highly! The team are all remarkable, taking such an interest in the development and journey of each kid. Thank you! Both my daughters have attended Mount Carmel (Kinder Lodge and Sandpit House respectively) and loved their time there.

It’s been a joy to see the keen go get ready in the mornings to go to childcare centre. The childcare centre has maintained an outstanding balance of playtime/stimulation and discovering. Their updates with parents and kids has been spot on, even, or should I say especially, during difficult covid times their management has been outstanding. The educators are all attentive and also very involved with the kids. I could not have given my kids a better pre-school that truly, gently does prepare them for what’s coming at ‘big school’. This is a magical place for kids to spend their days away from home and truly is a home from home. Both my kids attended Mount Carmel and have absolutely loved it.

My daughter since attending transformed from apprehensive and nervous on her first day to waking up and asking if she can go to childcare centre, even on the weekend! She has improved both academically and socially since attending, developing an outstanding vocabulary and a great set of friends. The childcare centre provides an outstanding setting for early years education. The team are welcoming, from welcoming you as you drop off your kid to collection and if needed get in touch quickly if you have any worries or concerns. My wife and I could not suggest this childcare centre enough. Mount Carmel Kindergarten is an absolutely remarkable setting.

It is incredibly well run and to an exceptional standard – it is clear that each aspect has been informed by and perfected over years of journey. We adore how the terms, weeks and days are structured according to the theme, which are then explored through the different rooms of the kindergarten with the enjoyable of discovering being at the heart of the activities. The team are outstanding, highly attuned to each kid’s personal development, very attentive and well presented. You sense supported as a parent whether it is with potty training, healthy eating, great manners and/or general behaviour. Updates with parents (both in-person and via the remarkable Famly app) is frequent, proactive and of high quality. It has been a joy to see how much our son adores kindergarten and the ways in which he has flourished in just a couple of months. We have been beyond impressed with MCK since starting this September and truly believe it is one of the best childcare settings of its generation.

They come home excited and recharged and also talk incessantly about their educators. They have a full day from gym to outdoor playtime and cooking and drawing and cutting. I have seen their language develop in leaps and bounds and also their personality flourish. It is ridiculously easy to communicate with the childcare centre and responses are often within the hour. They are lucky to be part of such a stellar journey. My boys absolutely adore Mount Carmel.

Sandpit House feels like home to our daughter and the team like family! Our daughter was excited to return, we would consistently suggest Mount Carmel to any families looking for a nurturing discovering setting for their little ones. This will be our daughter’s second year with Mount Carmel Kindergarten.

Both my boys have attended. My second son is consistently excited to go to childcare centre and has grown in self‑assurance during his time here thanks to all the fantastic team and experiences he has had.
