Montessori by Busy Bees Wandsworth

My daughter absolutely loves it here and we owe a huge amount to the team for making settling in so easy for her. There are so many activities they do with the kids, that it will help her development. We are kept up to date regularly on the app with pictures and food she has eaten that day. We are leaving soon only because we are moving and genuinely considered postponing the move so we don’t have to leave. Would definitely suggest! What a remarkable childcare centre.

The team are incredible and super supportive and my son was so excited to go back after the summer holidays. With their hard work, he has thrived so much and they take excellent care of them. Keep up the hard work guys. Honestly the best childcare centre ever!

My Son has been attending this childcare centre since the age of 1.5 years old and has been loving it since. Special shout out to the assistant centre director who is consistently smiling and attentive, she is the star of the childcare centre. Do not lose her please. Promote her instead. Keep up the great work. Just want to say all the team are incredible!

She is just over three now and I sense has thrived in each of the three rooms – baby, toddler and now pre-school. The team are so attentive and committed and the mix of long-serving members of the team and the recent additions seem to work well. The outdoor space has had a excellent revamp. Chef does a remarkable job of providing a healthy and varied range of meals and extras like multi-language music classes and the regular visits to the community garden are also much appreciated. Our daughter has been at the childcare centre since she was just over a year old, starting off at three days a week and now full-time.

Overall the childcare centre is lovely, team are very reliable and consistently update me with what my daughter has done that day and how she has gotten on. Team are really attentive towards the kids in general, my daughter is really cheerful there, have never had any issues whatsoever, she enjoys playing with her friends and speaks about them all the time at home. Her speech progression has also got really well since being at the childcare centre, which is one thing I was really worried about in the beginning, but my daughter has definitely come a long way since attending Busy Bees. The childcare centre is spotless, toilets are also very spotless compared to other nurseries I have visited in the past. I would definitely suggest anyone sending their kid/kids to Busy Bees. I can’t fault them for anything – any minor issues get resolved fairly quickly. The director of the childcare centre is also lovely. My daughter is 3 and has attended Busy Bees childcare centre since when she was 2 years old.

They both adore it there, and we have been really impressed with the care and assistance shown by all the team. The space is very welcoming and they have a great outdoor space (for London) in which the kids spend a lot of time, as well as organising trips out of the childcare centre where possible. We get regular updates from the childcare centre on the boys’ development and daily reports with photos showing what they have been up to, which are lovely to receive. They do a lot of different activities every day, and get a excellent balance of discovering and playing. Overall we have been extremely pleased with the childcare centre and would highly suggest it to other parents. Both of our sons attend this childcare centre, and have done for the past three years.

It was such an easy decision for us as when we first took him to see it, unlike other places we went to visit, he straight away made himself at home and started playing and exploring. We haven’t looked back since! It’s still his favourite place with its fully equipped facilities, big outdoor area, regular trips to the nature garden, varying discovering activities, fantastic application of Montessori principles, delicious food which allowed our son to be a very experimental eater. But most importantly, it’s the team! So much care, so much genuine fondness and interest that we can see them having towards our son and all the kids that attend is so moving to witness on a daily basis. We’ll sadly be moving on to primary at the end of summer and everything about this place will be sorely missed! Our son has been attending this childcare centre for 2 years now.

That would be a more appropriate rating. My kid was demonised for speaking out about the incidents that have happened to him at childcare centre. Instead of believing what he had said they tried to cover up bullying, serious injuries, and victim blame instead of addressing the core concerns of parents regarding the ratio. If there is enough team serious incidents would not happen. The issue isn’t with the team working inside the childcare centre, they are only able to work with the situation they find themselves in. I hold management responsible because they know they are not in ratio and are more concerned about the overall budget than the kids in their care’s safety. The escalation of negligent behaviour only continued when I removed my kid. Lying to Ofsted to cover their own backs, blaming our home life as the reason my kid had been hurt. I would hate if any other kid was harmed because they are failing to provide the correct amount of team. Do not send your kid. Shame I can’t choose zero.

Excellent team, decent facilities, outstanding setting for the kids. Great mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Flexible and accommodating with requests for individual kids (for example to provide for one of our girls, who has a hearing disability). Very attentive to the individual kid. Ambitious yet supportive for their development. Diligent in monitoring their development. All round passionate about their work and a excellent service. Thank you Busy Bees Wandsworth Team!
