February 21, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter joined Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Woodford in September when she was just 5.5 months old. It was such a big decision and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the care that she receives. She is always happy to go into nursery and I can tell that the staff really do enjoy caring for her. Big smiles all round! The staff have been wonderful – from settling in to helping with new nap/feeding routines to detailed daily feedback. Nothing is ever too much. Finding the perfect nursery for our daughter has made returning to work so much easier.

February 21, 2023 at 12:00 amAbout a year ago, my 2-year-old daughter started going to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Woodford. Since then, she has learned so much. We adore this place so much. Fantastic team with a really kind attitude. It’s amazing to watch our daughter become enthusiastic about visiting Monkey Puzzle. The teachers go above and beyond to engage the students and foster their development on an individualised basis. We appreciate the management team, and the entire staff at this wonderful Nursery for their dedication to fostering a secure, enjoyable, and caring environment. I would give this childcare 10 stars if I could!

February 21, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have been impressed with Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Woodford since our daughter started 1 year ago. Our daughter loves it and has had great relationships with both her key workers in the Tweenies and Toddlers room, as well as with all other nursery staff. There has been very little turnover in staff so it’s nice to always know everyone there. They are very caring and attentive with her and I always feel she is in safe and reliable hands. The nursery is always clean with a range of facilities and toys for the children. The beautiful garden was a big selling point for us and it’s great that they make the most of it all year round. Our daughter recently moved into the Toddlers Room and is enjoying an even greater variety of activities – we enjoy the daily photo updates of what they’ve been up to and can check the app to see how she’s eaten and slept. Would definitely recommend based on our experience.

February 22, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son attends Woodford Monkey Puzzle. In the last month, his speech has vastly improved and he’s talking so much for a 20-month-old. I think that’s down to the nursery. He knows all of the other children’s names and tells me their names when I show him photos so he seems to enjoy himself. The outside space is fabulous and the staff are all really nice. It seems a really nice environment for the children. My priority is that my son flourishes and he certainly has done at Woodford Monkey Puzzle.

February 22, 2023 at 12:00 amMonkey Puzzle Day Nursery is an amazing facility that caters to all needs.
They provide a wide curriculum packed with fun and sensory activities for kids. Our daughter is extremely happy there, sometimes it’s hard to take her home even.
The staff are very polite and respectful to both our kids and parents.
The facility itself is beautiful with a lot of montessori-aligned activities and toys. The outdoor area is spacious, green with plenty of sensory activities.
Highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery!

March 2, 2023 at 12:00 amOur two year old has been going to Monkey Puzzle Woodford since it opened early last year (2022). He started in the tweenies room and recently moved to the toddler room. He loved it there and the staff are amazing, and very attentive. The managers who run the nursery are also great and always available to address any concerns or questions you may have.
The nursery itself is big with amazing access to a big back garden where the kids can roam when the day suits. There is a section each for the bigger children and under 2s.
We are glad to have put our son there as we know he is well looked after, learning from playing and has good nutritional meals/snacks throughout the day.

March 2, 2023 at 12:00 amThe team at Monkey Puzzle have been amazing with our son since he joined last year (when the nursery first opened).
The staff all know our little boy’s likes and dislikes and they genuinely care.
The children have so much fun and learn lots with the staff. It’s generally just a very happy environment.
Staff have been fantastic at helping our boy start his journey at Monkey Puzzle and they have also been great at welcoming him for his next steps!
The management are also fantastic.
The nursery itself is also beautifully arranged, with the best outdoor space I have ever seen for a nursery.

I feel so at ease knowing she is being taken care of by an incredible team when there and always has so much fun and learns lots!

March 10, 2023 at 12:00 amOur 2.5-year-old has been in attendance at Monkey Puzzle Woodford since it first opened just over a year ago. Having endured a difficult nursery experience prior to starting here, we were apprehensive, however, with the support of all of the caring and compassionate Monkey Puzzle staff, he settled in very quickly and has fast grown to love it here. He runs into the nursery in the mornings without any hesitation and comes home to talk about his day and his carers and friends with such joy. His development has also been incredible to watch, thanks to all of the stimulating and well-thought-out activities they set up throughout the day as well as the evidently individualised care and attention the staff appear to give the children.
As parents, we are comforted by how positive his experience continues to be, it really does give us peace of mind to know that he is so well cared for when away from us. Thank you to everyone at Monkey Puzzle Woodford!

The staff and facilities are fantastic. My daughter has learned so much since she has been there, I am so happy that we chose this nursery for our daughter.

April 19, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has attended since the first day they opened. They have grown together over the last 2 years! She is always giddy with excitement and bouncing with happiness at hometime for the fun she’s had throughout the day. She loves mealtimes and eats well despite her being such a fussy eater at home! The garden is beautiful, a rare find for a nursery in this area, and the kids always make the most of the outside space. The manager is so approachable and made me feel confident in leaving my child under her responsibility whilst I returned to work. I will be sending my other daughter there too in the near future. I love the app for communication and photo updates.

April 19, 2023 at 12:00 amOur little one joined Tweenies last year and the transition was pretty much seamless, he settled very quickly and all staff in Tweenies room have been kind, positive and excellent at providing feedback or reassurance. We are so pleased with our decision to join Monkey Puzzle and look forward to watching our son continue to develop in a nurturing environment.

They have been excellent with his food allergies, providing him with suitable meals which he enjoys. The staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. I am very pleased we chose to send our son here!

April 20, 2023 at 12:00 amMy child started at the nursery in January and attends once a week currently. Despite the week between visits, he runs into group each week happy and excited for the day! We are updated throughout the day with his eating and sleeping patterns and pictures of all of the activities he gets up to which has been so exciting to see as a first-time mum! They have a wonderful range of toys for the children to play with independently but also run activities for the group to do together. The garden is a beautiful space, something which was really important to me when picking a nursery with us living in a flat.
The staff are fabulous and are never too busy to pop out at the end of the day and answer any questions. Any request I have had, they do all they can to help including adjusting to my preferred day and settling him in around my schedule.
I could not be happier with the nursery and the staff within, highly recommend it to any family.

I have been incredibly impressed with the patience and caring nature of all the staff who have looked after my daughter. It has been so lovely to see her happy and growing in confidence. I would definitely recommend Monkey Puzzle Woodford for their child.

May 3, 2023 at 12:00 amMy twin boys started over a year ago at Monkey Puzzle Woodford. The team helped them to settle in really smoothly, even napping on their first full day! They have developed close and trustful relationships with their main carers in both baby and toddler rooms. The team at Woodford are skilful, diligent and incredibly caring. We know our boys are in safe hands. The facilities and activities are brilliant, including a large outdoor leafy space. They have both developed beautifully since being at nursery and the team have been very supportive of one of our boys who has special educational needs, putting a clear plan in place. There is regular communication and photos through the app and reviews on their progress. I would highly recommend this nursery.

May 26, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter loves going to the nursery. She joined back in November and she is now in the Tweenies room. They do different activities every day and the staff keep us updated with her progress during the pick up and by uploading lots of pictures every day.

We both absolutely love Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery – he is always excited to go in and loves to tell me what he has been up to at the end of the day. He has learnt so much across both the toddler and pre-school room and I will be sad when his time at Monkey Puzzle comes to an end to attend school.
The staff are all so welcoming and show the children a lot of love and care. They also know the little details about each child which is so important to us parents. The team have so much time for the parents and I feel very comfortable speaking to the management team and staff in the rooms

June 1, 2023 at 12:00 amGreat nursery, my son is always excited to go, great large preschool room with access to the garden. Lots of well-thought-through activities and thoughtful staff. Creative ways to start to teach about numbers and letters and writing. Son is great at holding a pencil now.
