Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Our daughter – our firstborn – has attended since Feb 2019, aged 1. As a first-time parent, letting your child go to strangers is hard – knowing that your child is happy and being cared for is the most important thing. The management and staff instantly gave us a feeling of being with family friends and we knew our daughter was in very safe hands. We were immediately put at ease and the relationships that she, and we too as parents, have formed with staff can only be described as warm, supportive and secure. Communication is excellent and they are so thoughtful. They do so much for the community and for charity too. As a teacher, I have often been astounded by what my daughter has learnt there and the speed of it. Learning is creative, imaginative and always through play. Every single thing they do has the children’s happiness and wellbeing at its heart. Quite simply, It is an outstanding provider. We could not imagine a better nursery.

Our son has been at Monkey Puzzle Welling for 18 months and we are so happy with the care provided.
Staff: The staff are wonderful. His key person in particular has been fantastic. I love how well they know our son and how much they genuinely care for him. He bounds into nursery full of excitement and they are always so pleased to see him.
Learning: We have been impressed by the child-led learning. The children learn through play and we get updates through online journals. We are also provided with the “theme of the week” which allows us to continue the learning and theme at home.
Covid: Since the beginning of the pandemic, staff have gone above and beyond for the children. Social Zoom sessions and online activities were provided until they could reopen. When they reopened they did so with strict, but easy to follow guidelines to keep staff and children safe.
We love Monkey Puzzle almost as much as our son does and are happy to recommend it to any parents.

My niece has been at this nursery for a year now and she absolutely loves it. All the staff have been so welcoming and caring to her and we have seen her grow in confidence since starting. The activities that she takes part in when she attends are amazing and they offer a variety throughout. The nursery is such a welcoming environment and she is excited to attend each day. We feel safe with her being at this nursery. She has developed so much as she learns so much from the nursery and the learning from staff is very clearly seen. This is a fantastic nursery.

The staff are warm, friendly and approachable and my granddaughter is clearly happy to see them when I drop her off and I know that she’s had a good day when I collect her as she chats about what she’s been up to. She has thrived since attending Monkey Puzzle, she is confident and making excellent progress in her learning, communication and social skills. I feel confident leaving her with the lovely team knowing that she’ll have a great day and will be well cared for and treated as an individual.

I am very happy with my son’s development since he joined the nursery. I feel very comfortable to leave him at the nursery because I know he has fun, he is encouraged to thrive and he is loved. Management is open for a discussion as well on the things parents think can be improved.

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling is an outstanding nursery. My daughter started at 11 months old. The staff helped her to take her first steps, potty trained and also helped her speak in full sentences! What I love about the nursery is their attention to detail, each day they give a detailed handover of how her day went. They have a monthly newsletter that keeps you up to date with what’s happening in the nursery and also key information on what the children are learning that month which allows you to incorporate that at home. All the staff are caring and friendly they go the extra mile to ensure the children are settled and are so good at adapting their service. The food choices are excellent and they change the menu every two weeks. I would definitely recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling.

Amazing staff have really helped my daughter to flourish she loves it here and it’s all down to the team.

Our experience with Monkey Puzzle, Welling has been excellent – our two boys started in the mini-preschool group and our daughter in the baby room. The room leaders are so professional and make sure the settling in is seamless. Our kids love going to Monkey Puzzle, they learn a lot and we get regular reports on their development.

For me, the first day I took my daughter here I could not have felt more at ease. The ladies were so lovely and they bonded with my daughter straight away. the nursery does lots of different fun activities. Everything is always clean and the meals they provide are very good with lots of variation. When my daughter moved to the bigger room, the ladies all made me feel very confident it was the right move. The handovers are always thorough and the ladies are always cheerful and so friendly. I couldn’t be more pleased with this nursery. The ladies are a real asset!
