Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Southport

My daughter has attended here since she was 11 months (now 3) and she has had the best experience and has learned so much. The staff are attentive and kind and always pick up straight away if she’s ever unwell and contact us accordingly. They have freshly cooked meals and the menu is amazing.
The nursery, for us, has been a godsend – I’ve used a few over the years with other children and nothing compares.

Really lovely nursery, my little one has been attending for just over a year and still loves it as much now as when he first started. I was nervous about sending him to nursery at 9 months old but the staff are all fantastic and if I’ve ever called to ask how he is the staff are always happy to give me a rundown on what he’s been up to. I’d recommend Monkey Puzzle Southport to anyone.

My son has attended this nursery for the last 3 years. He loves it, he has come such a long way with the help of the staff and what they do with the children. Brilliant place, would highly recommend. Keep up the good work guys.

Professional, attentive staff. They work flexibly to meet your child’s needs. My daughter has settled in really easily into this nursery and its friendly atmosphere, particularly as she was a pandemic baby.

Unfortunate that I’m having to leave this review. As a ‘non-resident’ parent who wants to be involved in my child’s life as much as possible, it’s disappointing at the lack of communication I have received since my daughter started nursery. In an already difficult position, they have made the process no easier.
Working alongside a nursery myself I understand the importance of building healthy relationships with both parents, I also understand what amazing work nursery staff do on a daily basis and how busy it can get: however no update in over 2 months and counting… despite me attempting to make regular contact with themselves and head office.

My daughter loves going to nursery and she enjoys seeing her teachers and always talks about how nice they are and how much she loves them. They are always taking the kids to college for extra fun and nice outings. My child always has seconds at meal times. I’ll be sad when she starts school next year.

My child has settled really well here since a big move into the area in August leaving one nursery to this one he transitioned really well and I would say it’s all thanks to the staff. Our child comes out very happy and tells us the things he has been up to. What we love the most is how often the children get out and about in the community it’s fantastic!

My daughter has attended Monkey Puzzle since she was eleven months old and loves it! She is now in Pre School and I cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work and enthusiasm. My daughter comes home with a big smile on her face every day and can’t wait to go again each morning. She has made some lovely friends there. The staff work hard to make sure there are always fun and educational activities every day and spend time with each child daily. Cannot recommend Monkey Puzzle enough.

Great nursery and preschool, you can tell the team really build a connection with the kids and help them prepare for school, would highly recommend. Lovely facilities and a healthy balanced diet is provided by their chef.

From the very moment we walked into the nursery for the initial interview, we knew this was the place for our precious little girl. For various reasons, it was a difficult time for us all, but we were welcomed so warmly, we knew Monkey Puzzle was the right choice. Over the past year or so we see our little girl has blossomed and developed far beyond our expectations. The staff are amazing, going out of their way to ensure the children in their care receive the very best. The children visited the local college, library, bookshop, the beach, gardens and even went shopping in the nearby supermarket to buy the ingredients for biscuits they were making! Daily reports were given about the snacks and balanced diet, photos of the different daily activities were available and areas of development – literacy, numeracy, spacial awareness etc, were highlighted each day. We are sad this time is coming to an end and thank each and every member of staff for their professionalism and care.
