Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery and Preschool Otley

Fantastic nursery. My daughter has been with them for 2-years and loves it. All the staff are kind, hardworking, attentive and professional. They always go that extra mile to ensure the kids have a great day and keep you up to date of their progress. The nursery itself is clean, well maintained and well equipped so that the kids have everything they need in a great environment.
I cannot praise all the staff enough for how hard they work and how much effort they put in to keep the nursery running well and making sure the kids have variety in their day.

My son has been going to Monkey Puzzle since he was 9 months old, he is now 2 and a half and he absolutely loves it. The staff work so hard to understand the individual needs of every child and it is lovely the see the bond they share with all of the children. The nursery is professionally run with well-trained staff and great communication. Over what has undoubtedly been an exceptionally difficult few months for the nursery, it has been heartening to see them always putting the children first and doing whatever they can to support their needs, above all else. Most importantly, my son runs out of the house every morning, excited to get to nursery and spends the whole time he’s not there talking about going back. So they must be doing something right.

My little one started at the end of September, and we absolutely love the nursery, especially the staff. Every day, my little one has a huge smile on his face when we arrive and happily goes over to the girls. The menu is great, and the nursery is clean and well maintained. Would recommend to anyone.

I can’t praise Monkey Puzzle highly enough. My baby daughter gets so much loving attention during the day and is always doing something messy and fun. She settled really quickly, and her key person is amazing, keeps us up to date with what she’s up to, we get pics via the app so we know she’s having a great day and eating good food. Also, she can sleep when it suits her in the separate quiet room/sleep room. It’s the peace of mind we need when we’re at work. So glad we found this nursery, it’s definitely the best one in the area so hoping to keep my daughter there until she starts school as the Preschool has also been recommended to us by other parents.

This nursery has gone above and beyond at every step with our daughter, I can’t recommend Monkey Puzzle highly enough. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds in the last 2 and a half years from a shy toddler to a happy confident 4 year old. She has a brilliant key person who is friendly, knowledgable and professional and nothing is ever too much trouble. The facilities are amazing, definitely the best in the area, inviting and well set out. They take parent opinions into account so you feel really valued, and they are always going from strength to strength. The way the team dealt with the covid situation is outstanding, keeping us informed and making sure steps are taken to keep us all safe. We’ll be sorry when our daughter leaves for school in the autumn but the nursery has made sure she is ready for her next step. Best nursery in the area hands down and a lifeline for our family.

My eldest child finished at Monkey Puzzle last year and my youngest is still there. I couldn’t recommend Monkey Puzzle highly enough. The staff are brilliant. Their knowledge and experience are very impressive and they really care about the children. Excellent facilities and outdoor space. I’m so pleased we chose Monkey Puzzle. My boys love it.

The staff at Monkey Puzzle make the place stand out. If you want a child focused nursery than I cannot recommend this place enough. I love the fact that my little boy comes home messy as it shows he’s had lots of different experiences and fun. My little boy started at 8 months old and is now 10 months old, he seems to have settled in really well and I think this is down to the excellent staff who show empathy and a passion for caring for children. It may not have the best Ofsted but I know as a teacher that this isn’t always a true reflection of a setting. I know my child is safe and happy and having lovely experiences which to me is what is most important when looking for a nursery.

Very professional nursery that offers high-quality care. Both my children have attended and they love going. All the different rooms cater to the needs of the age group and there have been some outstanding members of staff.

My son has recently started at Monkey Puzzle and our experience to date has been nothing short of excellent. The staff have been amazing, their communication and commitment to ensuring a smooth transition into their nursery setting has made us feel extremely confident that our child is in the best place!

My child has been here since he just turned 1 and is just about to leave to go to primary school. I couldn’t have asked for a better nursery and preschool, the staff really care for the kids and do so many exciting activities. They’ve taught my child a huge amount and prepared him so wonderfully for his next steps. As a parent I’ve felt looked after too, and reassured that my child was getting the best.
