September 18, 2024 at 1:09 amSuch a lovely well run childcare centre – all the team know all the kids’s names which gives it a family sense.
The nursury has a large garden which the kids can playtime in throughout the day and a forest school which they can visit. My daughter went to Matchbox originally and I had no hesitation in sending my son here too, it was a pleasant surprise that nearly 3 years later, there were many of the same team members and they all remembered my daughter still.

September 29, 2024 at 2:12 amHighly lovely childcare centre, team are all welcoming and highly supportive. I only pick up every now and again but they still remember who I am.
They have a lovely big garden where the kids spend some of the day and they participate in forest school which is lovely.
Highly homely sense inside the childcare centre, overall incredible. My niece previously went to this childcare centre and my nephew currently goes here.

January 8, 2025 at 1:56 pmIt was such a pleasant journey, that the new childcare centre he is in, doesn’t reach the standard given by Matchbox.
My son started in Matchbox when he was 11 months. Since the settling week, everything went smooth. The carers, especially the key person & the manager of the baby section were consistently highly supportive & compassionate. Babies delight in going there because the team are lovely & attentive.
It was only 4 months that he went to Matchbox, but it was enough to see his development. His motor & updates skills improved amazingly.
The activities tried to push their curiosity and encouraged them to do things by themselves. I could see from my son’s clothes that they were having a lot of enjoyable.
Management was flexible & accessible. Keeping great relations with parents.
I wish we were closer to Matchbox to have our son back there.
Absolutely recommended 100%.

March 17, 2025 at 8:44 pmThey didn’t look at the book, and the response we got was that they are busy taking care of other kids. We gave them changing clothes to use, for example in the event of a nappy accident. We saw that our kid had a soiled trouser/bodysuit after childcare centre pickup. We asked why he wasn’t changed and the response we got was I didn’t change him, I’ll ask around. However, no one claimed they were accountable after another day of asking around. We also noticed the lack of fluidity in changing nappies at the childcare centre. Whenever we asked for a breakdown of our kid’s activities the childcare centre’s response was highly simplistic, we implored them to emphasize but we couldn’t get any more info. This showed either they have too many kids per key person that they lose track, or they don’t do many activities towards a kid’s development. We were told to write most of our kid’s routine/expression so his key person could understand his actions and when our kid expresses himself vocally.

April 21, 2025 at 10:26 amMy kid loves going and gives his/her key worker a big hug each morning! They host a variety of activities that relate to all the areas of the Early Years curriculum that ensure that s/he is well rounded. These activities are done through kid initiated playtime so all the little ones are consistently on the go exploring the setting! The team that work there are expert, polite and have great relationships with the kids and their parents and carers. I sense that the updates between the Childcare centre and home is outstanding. I consistently know what my little one has been up to and what s/he is enjoying each day! The Childcare centre was highly recommended to me by friends and I also highly suggest Matchbox Day Childcare centre! My kid has been going to Matchbox Day Childcare centre since s/he was 5 months old.
