September 6, 2024 at 5:23 pmThe downside is the business side of the early‑years hub as they seem stuck in time and not extremely responsive, exceptionally inflexible. Carers seem really committed to making every little one thrilled. An remarkable approach to childcare, extremely empowering for youngsters, our little one is really pleased to be there.

October 10, 2024 at 8:25 pmWe are so pleased that our little one joins Manor House Nursery and would not hesitate to advocate this setting to any other family. We are blown away by the competences, expertise and confidence of all the crew at Manor House Nursery. (And our boy raves about the food and he’s hard to please). They have managed my little boy’s transition into their setting (from a childminder) expertly and have welcomed our family into the childcare centre community.

December 13, 2024 at 8:52 pmOur girl is exceptionally thrilled there, so dismayed they don’t want to go out of their comfort zone even slightest to help out when needed. Carers are lovely and dedicated but no understanding of family needs whatsoever. So far we requested additional sessions nine times when unforeseen circumstances happened (including exceptionally serious situations like a death in the family) but were never accommodated for even one, even though we offered to pay whatever needed. No flexibility whatsoever nor understanding, so claiming to be “family-oriented” couldn’t be much further from the truth. Some of the best and some of the worst characteristics of early‑years hub combined in one.

December 19, 2024 at 5:17 amI am exceptionally pleased with Manor House Nursery and the attention they have for my little one. She is extremely thrilled and treasures it there, especially the garden. Maybe a few more different activities or some music and dancing would improve it.

December 19, 2024 at 12:35 pmMyself and my partner can not endorse Manor House Nursery strongly enough. From day one, we have always felt more than delighted to leave our little one there. The setting and provisions they offer are of a high standard and are regularly changed. My girl has developed so much since starting at Manor House and she adores it there. The management team and all the team are truly welcoming and welcoming and they are always only too delighted to help with any questions or queries we have. Manor House follow the curiosity approach which we cherish.

December 24, 2024 at 10:22 pmThey encourage imagination and are committed to providing a varied and creative atmosphere. The team are dedicated to enhancing the children’s discovering using the curiosity approach. Our girl has been attending the childcare centre for a year now and she enjoyed every minute. The exploring, setting and activities are engaging and child-led. We could not have asked for a better-suited nursery setting for our girl.

January 19, 2025 at 11:09 pmThey are welcoming, helpful, kind and have made it truly easy for us. He enjoys his days at childcare centre and I couldn’t be happier seeing him at Manor House. My young lad has settled into Manor House extremely well. Thanks to every member of team. They have approached our starting exceptionally gently, taking on board and considering exactly what my little one needs and what stage he is at. The childcare centre is immaculate well maintained with constantly changing areas for the little ones to explore.

January 26, 2025 at 4:45 pmThey discover new skills all the time and whenever we visit they are fully involved in all activities in both age sections. The house and grounds have had extensive refurbishment and this has been managed truly well with minimal disruption. Overall we’re exceptionally thrilled with our choice to come to Manor House. The personnel clearly are and have lovely relationships with all the kids. Our two boys treasure their childcare centre and that is probably the best endorsement!

January 30, 2025 at 8:56 amSome of my star ratings I have put as poor, but I don’t actually know because I’ve only been allowed inside the early‑years hub twice, briefly, and never had a review of his care. I’m sure the crew work extremely hard despite being pushed to their limits by management. On top of this, I have no real idea of how my boy is really doing at nursery setting, or what he does with his days. I know that all nurseries are struggling and crew shortages is a national problem, but unfortunately, Manor House childcare centre just isn’t coping with these problems. Avoid! Our child’s place has just been cancelled with just a week and half’s notice! I think my 18m old is having a good time but what’s the point of sending your youngster to nursery setting if you don’t know from one day to the next if they will have him. This childcare centre is unreliable as childcare. It’s unacceptable and irresponsible of the nursery setting as I believe they were probably already short staffed when they accepted him just a few months ago.

February 3, 2025 at 6:39 amShe always comes out with a spring in her step, full of stories about the things she’s played and learned during her day. Our second little one will be turning one year old later this year, and we are truly much looking forward to introducing her to the Manor House family as well. My young lady has been attending Manor House since 2020 when she had just turned one year old, and we have always been truly delighted with the levels of help and stimulation she receives at nursery setting. Things were quite challenging a few months ago with staffing issues meaning that our girl sometimes wasn’t able to go to, but things have really turned around in the preceding few months and that hasn’t been the case for a long time now. Similarly, there has been a real improvement in updates and visibility levels, especially with the introduction of the app. A couple of weeks ago, she came home singing all the words to two new songs she’d learned just that day, which I thought was remarkable!

February 21, 2025 at 10:35 amThe updates between the childcare centre and parents has strengthened massively and we can see how warm, creative and dedicated the crew are. We feel this is a great place to prepare her for school in her preceding few months of attending. Our young lady (nearly 4) has been attending Manor House since January 2022. They exceptionally sensitively dealt with a difficult patch in our daughter’s behaviour a few months ago. In the second half of 2022, we’ve really appreciated more updates about what she gets up to via the Famly app, and many more opportunities to join in family activities that Manor House have arranged. Around this time the early‑years hub was struggling, but we feel they’ve made massive efforts to improve in what has been a truly difficult recruiting climate. Our young lady absolutely enjoys attending and has developed a close relationship with her key worker.

February 22, 2025 at 8:13 amStaff are well trained and wholeheartedly enthusiastic. My young lady goes in happily every time. They make sure both little ones and parents feel like they are home there. I couldn’t be happier with the choice of Manor House Nursery.

March 7, 2025 at 7:36 pmA great variety of food is cooked freshly every day on site. The management team are exceptionally approachable and deal with everything extremely quickly and professionally, always being able to go the extra mile to help. A wide range of activities are provided every day based on her interests. My little one currently is enrolled at Manor House and she treasures it there. The team are truly knowledgeable and kind. Moving my young lady from another local nursery setting to Manor House was the best move we could have ever made for her.

March 13, 2025 at 7:30 pmBeing a ‘lockdown baby’ her transition took a little more time than anticipated. My little girl started her settling in sessions with Manor House Nursery in January. The personnel were great with adapting to the needs that my little girl and also myself had, during what was a difficult time. The personnel take such great support of her and maintain open contact about her advancement. My little one has well and truly settled in and is thoroughly enjoying her time at early‑years hub.

March 17, 2025 at 2:10 pmThey cherish and look after the youngsters so well. The owner is a kind and tolerant person. He adores his carers and I’m delighted knowing he has a fantastic time every day. so we are not caught unaware. The personnel are wonderful, despite the tough times they have been through. The team call to ask if they may do things like take the kids to the park or to notify us if they have a temperature etc. I had issues with getting my youngster into the childcare centre and ensuring that there was a place for him, but they were resolved in a professional and welcoming way, despite all the stress management were under at the time. Manor House is a great nursery setting. The new manager is knowledgeable, skilled and has done a lot of work to turn the early‑years hub around (after issues due to Covid and staffing problems). The carers are fantastic. My little one enjoys going to childcare centre, he doesn’t want to leave.

April 27, 2025 at 4:17 pmAfter calling us to check it was OK, she went with the managers to the local shop to buy stamps and post the letter. The crew are cordial, caring and extremely committed to providing a fun and protected exploring setting. For example, during lockdown, our young lady wrote a letter to her grandparents while at childcare centre and asked if she could post it. The team encourage the kids to explore the world and empower them to investigate the things that interest them. If that isn’t a good advocacy, then I don’t know what is! Our boy (2) and little one (4) enrol at Manor House Nursery and absolutely enjoy it. Both kids are always really thrilled when we collect them and even ask to go to early‑years hub on days they don’t go to! The garden is fantastic and it’s great to know the little ones spend lots of time outside as well. We are truly pleased with our choice of childcare centre and would enthusiastically advocate it. She was so excited to tell us all about it and it was lovely to see how the crew supported her.

June 21, 2025 at 10:41 amThe day to day running is smooth and slick and must be truly well organised. He still has a varied healthy diet which is excellent. I’ve been particularly impressed with the nursery’s efforts regarding my sons dairy intolerance. My young lad has was enrolled at since March 2018. He settled in well thanks to the team and now thoroughly enjoys his time there. All the crew are kind, knowledgeable and really know each little one well. It is wonderful to know he is outside every day but always with enough suncream, a hat and not in the hottest parts of the day. Five stars all round!
