Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Paignton - Midvale Road)

My eldest has lots of friends and they spend a great amount of time outside.
I am consistently the last parent to pick them up and my baby is consistently being given a cuddle. Can’t suggest it here enough. Such a lovely team, both my boys are so cheerful here.

both managers are consistently very supportive and lovely… most importantly, I see each time I pick up my daughter, she is content and cheerful My kid has been attending Mama Bear’s Day Childcare centre & Pre-School since October last year and I am very cheerful about it, the employees are very nice, smiling, supportive and compassionate…

She loves coming to childcare centre and has excelled massively since she started going full-time in January. My only downfall would be the state she is sent home in sometimes, dirty and wet clothes, and wet coats, her coat has recently been ruined by paint which has been used at the childcare centre, likewise for some of her shoes. I would have thought it would be washable paint being a childcare centre setting so maybe this could be an improvement you make to protect the clothes and shoes we pay a lot of money for. We also have the 30 hours funded but sense we still pay quite a lot for our childcare. Overall we are really cheerful with the childcare centre, but as of late sense a lack of care is being given with regard to kids’s clothing and belongings. Our daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and has grown extremely fond of all the team at Mama Bear’s.

She is consistently cheerful to go in and comes out telling me all about her day with her friends and the team. She does a variety of activities during the day which she really enjoys. They have a great variety of foods at mealtimes. The team are consistently cheerful to listen should you have any questions/queries and are cheerful to help. My daughter absolutely loves her childcare centre days at Mama Bear’s Paignton – Midvale Road.

The manager is lovely. My son came on so much in the time he’s been attending Mama Bears, he’s now getting ready for big school in September, would suggest this childcare centre to family and friends. My son loved going here, he’s got special needs and the team are excellent.

The range of activities they do is remarkable and both kids are able to be creative and learn. My 3-year-old is in the preschool room and has started discovering how to write letters and numbers. Mama Bears were also a excellent help when potty training. He started at the childcare centre from about 10 months old and is extremely sociable and welcoming and his language skills are advanced for his age. I had absolutely no hesitation in sending my daughter when I returned back to work after maternity leave. She is now 18 months and has been going to the childcare centre since she was 1. She is extremely independent and sociable and this is in part down to the childcare centre.
All the team are lovely and really make an effort with all the kids.
Highly recommended this childcare centre. I have 2 kids at Mama Bears Midvale Road Paignton and both are very cheerful there.

She has formed friendships with the other kids and has a really close bond with the team. She is discovering loads and enjoys it. They have prepared her well for school in September. We have never had any issues with Mama Bear’s and I would suggest them to everyone. My daughter (3 years old) has fitted into Mama Bear’s straight away.

Thanks to the dedication of the team her ability and growth has been very great and she seems to have grown up so much this year! Every member of team we have come across have been lovely and very engaging, taking a keen interest in my daughter and her discovering/happiness. Other than having to get up early, my daughter absolutely loves going to childcare centre to see her friends and her educators! She has been very well looked after and the updates between the childcare centre and us parents has been excellent. Unfortunately, we’ve kept her out of childcare centre during the pandemic but have one very excited little girl who gets to go back in a week’s time!
Would 100% suggest Mama Bear’s as a childcare centre to anyone looking. Couldn’t find a single fault and we are very cheerful we chose them in the first place. My daughter has been attending Mama Bear’s for quite some time now.

My eldest who’s now 4 and has not long left really enjoyed so I was more than cheerful to put my daughter in too.
She can have space at the childcare centre at my son’s school but I adore the way the team handle things and I really like the whole sense of the childcare centre and the running of it. Both my kids have been to this childcare centre now.

My little boy had a high temperature and they called me straight away, took him to the doctors and he had tonsillitis. Very cheerful with how fast they acted. Everyone is really hands-on with the kids and very on top of the kids’s health.
