Magic Garden Children's Day Nursery, Moortown

The source of the issues has been the management for the most part. Either it’s not there or not adequate but the new manager is clearly making improvements. However certain things have not improved – there is still a shortage of team (an industry issue but looks as though they struggle to attract and keep hold of great team). The meals have gone downhill, in particular for teatime – at over £1k a month I don’t send my kid to childcare centre to eat beans on toast multiple times a week. In the time we’ve been there, there have been no assessments or updates on development, and updates on their app are few and far between. The admin/management team doesn’t respond to emails or even acknowledge them – even when issues around health and welfare have been raised. The team and team looking after the kids are excellent and try their best to give them and their parents the best journey but they’re clearly stretched. It’s been quite up and down at this childcare centre for the twelve months our little one has been there.

She has been introduced to lots of activities and experiences that we wouldn’t think to do at home and is clearly enjoying them all. I sense confident dropping her off each day that she will be well looked after. The team at Magic Garden have been remarkable at settling in my little girl and it is clear her needs and development are of excellent importance to the team.

The childcare centre is consistently spotless, inviting and welcoming and I sense truly comfortable in the knowledge my daughter is well looked after and enjoying herself. My daughter joined in March and is truly enjoying her journey, she gets excited as we arrive at the childcare centre and loves greeting all the childcare centre team, which is a reflection of the remarkable relationships they are building with her.

The team are welcoming and expert, they go above and beyond to assistance the kids. The range of activities is remarkable as is the food menu. I could not suggest this childcare centre enough, an absolutely exceptional place! My son has settled so well at Magic Garden, he is visibly excited every morning when we arrive.

He loves playing with his friends. Thank you all for supporting my son. My son loves all the team at this childcare centre and he enjoys all the activities they provide.

I’ve found the team to be supportive and pro-active when it comes to the education and development of my daughter, who loves attending, and the girls who look after her are lovely to deal with. I’ve found childcare centre has been highly accommodating to any requests and quick to deal with any questions we may have had. My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for over a year and has come on in leaps and bounds.
