September 6, 2024 at 5:16 amA lot of changes in a short space of time at the childcare centre worried us at first but the changes have absolutely been for the better. Our son has flourished and the new structure has him excited to go to childcare centre every day. From a parents perspective it feels as though decisions are based around what is genuinely best for the kids. The team are consistently keen to listen, answer our questions and react to our feedback. A truly positive change for us is being allowed back inside to collect the kids! We are looking forward to sending our daughter to this childcare centre in the highly near future. Highly recommended. Look no further! This childcare centre is truly outstanding.

September 19, 2024 at 2:44 pmIts rural setting was a big positive for us as well as its outside space, parking etc. however what sets it apart from any other nurseries we visited was, without doubt, the team. All of the team are incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic about their job. They clearly care about each kid and when discussing our son’s day with them, you almost forget that they have multiple other kids to look after, such is the level of attention that the kids clearly receive. Our son spends time whole drive home telling us about how much he has enjoyed his day and we adore hearing every second of it. My son has been going to A Step Ahead Childcare centre (Horsham) for almost 2 years now and we are delighted with our choice of childcare centre.

September 21, 2024 at 4:08 amHe reaches for the girl’s in the morning for cuddles’ and asks after his key workers’ and friends’ when he’s not there. He’s settled truly well and all the team are so welcoming and attentive. It’s such a nice setting too and the outdoor playtime area is lovely. Two members of team, in particular, deserve a mention for how exceptional they have been at settling our son, and for how much he’s fallen in adore with them! Our little boy couldn’t adore his time at childcare centre any more.

October 8, 2024 at 10:10 amFrom the first visit guided by the Childcare centre’s Manager, we had an impression that it will be a ‘home from home’ for our son and we were not wrong! Our son was one y.o. when he first joined, and from that moment on (he is now almost 3) we felt reassured that he is in the great hands.
Both baby and toddler room teams are highly supportive, dedicated to their work and exceptionally creative, so kids are engaged and discovering all the time.
The Manager and the team are consistently in search for the new ways to improve teaching and discovering; giving each and every kid the opportunity to development. I was highly pleased when the team members from toddler room offered to practice/use with our son some foreign words (to assistance his discovering at home-as we juggle between 3 languages). Now, if I come ‘too early’ our son refuses to leave (as he is still busy!) – that’s the best recommendation ever! We have been highly lucky to find the Step Ahead Childcare centre when we moved to the area.

November 21, 2024 at 11:49 pmFrom trial sessions at other nurseries and just not feeling comfortable to coming here, my daughter settled instantly. The facilities are excellent, she loves playing in the outside area in all weathers and making the most of the well-equipped indoor facilities. Her speech has come on hugely and her self‑assurance reflects the security and encouragement that the super welcoming team provide. She eats well and consistently comes home spotless and well-presented. Special mention to her key worker who goes over and beyond to reassure me that she is settling well and coping with the routine she has now got. All team and management I have the pleasure of meeting are highly engaging and comforting to the point she will happily go to them with a smile on her face. We are highly lucky to have such a remarkable childcare centre for her to attend. I am so relieved to have found such a fabulous and accommodating childcare centre.

December 6, 2024 at 11:51 amI have watched my daughter flourish, develop and grow thanks to the fantastic setting and remarkable team. The team truly do care and in each room we have experienced over the past few years, the attention to care, discovering and enjoyable has been obvious to see. Each member of the team are consistently willing to share development and provide updates when I speak to them. Leaving your kid in the care of others is consistently daunting and the fact that the team do so much to help in settling in periods is further proof that they just get it.
One final point – I have noticed that fathers can sometimes be overlooked in the fantastic world of parenting generally. The opportunity to spend an afternoon with my daughter at the childcare centre (and a breakfast sandwich!) to acknowledge Father’s Day was a nice touch and yet another example of the fantastic setting that exists here. Please don’t ever change, it’s things like this that make you special! I can’t speak highly enough about our childcare centre.

January 16, 2025 at 1:52 pmShe cannot wait to see them on arrival and tells us all about what they got up to when she gets home. The atmosphere is so positive and reassuring that she feels comfortable and cheerful to attend.
The childcare centre has been super in helping promote independence and character building, we are highly grateful for the input from all team and the continued handover at the end of each day.
We cannot fault the chef, she caters for all appetites and our daughter consistently comes home having eaten well and having tried a variety of foods.
The whole team are all exceptional, we are so cheerful to have found this childcare centre. What a excellent place for my daughter to attend.
The team in the toddler room are remarkable, the childcare centre team and everyone else who spends time with my daughter are valued by her.

All the team are genuinely welcoming and care for all the kids they look after and ensuring everyone feels special.

The childcare centre is spotless, well equipped and my kids are thriving there. Special mention to one member of team in particular as both my boys adore her and she’s truly helped my youngest to settle in. I can’t find a fault anywhere.

March 10, 2025 at 2:20 amShe has grown so much over the past year since she started. She has enjoyed every minute and I think that’s down to the incredible team. My daughter has consistently been so excited to go and join in with all the different activities they provide.
The childcare centre has recently been refurbished both inside and outside, it’s a lovely setting…perfect for little ones to explore and let their imagination flourish. My daughter has loved attending childcare centre here.

They are patient and work to every kid’s own pace of development. He has developed so much since going here and progressed significantly over the last few months. He loves his time here and enjoys all the different activities that he gets up to. I’ve also just enrolled my other kid to attend soon and I have no doubt that he will thrive by being here too. I’m so cheerful I chose this childcare centre for my kid.

As a working mum, the mum guilt can be a real kicker, but I bat it away as best I can and these tiny moments of appreciation mean the world. I adore that my little boy’s childcare centre not only focuses on his growth and development but they take into account the culture and society which surrounds him.

April 9, 2025 at 11:08 amIt truly was magical – so many fantastic activities for the kids. All team were so welcoming and showed excellent interest in all the families who were attended. This was also on a Saturday and all team who were there were full of energy and kindness. It was so lovely to get a chance to eat some of the food that the kids do too. A truly lovely day. My little boy goes to Lower Beeding Day Childcare centre and we were recently invited to the Christmas open day!

June 9, 2025 at 2:41 amWe moved my daughter to the Childcare centre Family in January 2022 and I could not be any more happier with the care and educational foundations she will be going on to school with. Our original transition from her previous childcare centre was easy and highly well supported with a welcome sign on her first day! We quickly moved to pre-school and we have done science experiments, learnt to write our letters, and can count to 20 all whilst discovering about patience and kindness and how we should use this every day.
The food is fantastic, truly home cooked and the cakes are outstanding! The team are truly compassionate and invested in providing a fantastic setting which you can see through their fantastic open days, Christmas events and stay and playtime sessions.
Thank you all so much you will be so missed! I am so thrilled to write a fantastic review for this childcare centre.

June 12, 2025 at 4:14 pmMy eldest daughter flourished in their care, my middle daughter is currently attending and my youngest is due to start in January. We wouldn’t consider sending them anywhere else and have been thrilled with the standard of care.
The same team who cared for our eldest 6 years ago are still there which speaks volumes in an industry where team turn over can be high. A Step Ahead is a calm, welcoming and spotless discovering setting for kids providing them with a real home from home.

The presentation of the childcare centre is consistently of the highest standard making this an ideal place for kids to flourish. The feedback given by team on parent zone has been remarkable for driving activities at home. I sense that my daughter’s security and wellbeing is being managed to the highest degree providing my wife and I with peace of mind. I’m thrilled with A Step Ahead Childcare centre having seen a marked improvement in my daughter’s updates skills and her increase in trying new foods.

June 20, 2025 at 1:53 pmIt’s nerve-wracking selecting a childcare centre for your baby and I viewed several before visiting and picking Step Ahead. What stood out to me versus the others was how well every member of team engaged with the babies and kids e.g. knew their names and personality quirks even if they weren’t part of their day to day care. I think this adds a lovely family sense to the childcare centre. The team are highly attentive and supportive and I like how they approach each kid as an individual. I adore hearing about all the exciting activities my daughter has been involved and all the excellent food she has eaten. It is important to me that my daughter is in a cheerful, enjoyable and attentive setting, a home from home, and in Step Ahead we have found exactly that. Highly recommended. Our daughter started at A Step Ahead almost 2 years ago.

June 29, 2025 at 3:13 amMy son is currently in the toddler room with room lead, he runs in every day and comes home so cheerful! He’s currently 2.5 and has been here for 9 months!
His development there is incredible, I especially adore the updates and pictures we receive of the enjoyable and discovering they do throughout the day.
The updates is exceptional from updates on what they are eating each week to updates on what’s happening in each room.
I have my youngest starting in the baby room in January, I know she will adore it with the room leader and the team there. I couldn’t be happier with this childcare centre!

July 5, 2025 at 1:04 amTeam are inviting and welcoming and our daughter just seemed to relax and have enjoyable quite quickly. We loved that there’s a parents evening to chat about our kid’s development and so impressed at how management accommodated extra sessions. Would definitely suggest this childcare centre to others. After our daughter not settling at another childcare centre 2 months in having relocated to the area we changed to Step Ahead and never looked back.
