Longwood School & Nursery

The team are welcoming yet expert. Both of our kids have settled in very well. The setting has the perfect mix of education and outdoor activities whilst the kids learn and playtime through a structured day. We are so cheerful our kids attend Longwood. Wish we had found Longwood before! Our son currently attends the pre-school at Longwood whilst our daughter has joined the childcare centre.

Both my kids have been attending from 10 months. The childcare centre team to school team are all excellent and consistently supportive. The team are consistently cheerful to help and approachable to discuss any concerns you wish to discuss. The educators are very supportive with any needs the kids require and also cheerful to assistance the parents along the way. The school is set up with excellent facilities for the kids with excellent outdoor space. The school also offers excellent wrap-around care and my kids absolutely adore it. The school is definitely like a ‘family’ and I would highly suggest it. Longwood School & Childcare centre is a excellent establishment from childcare centre to school.

I looked at 3 other nurseries around the area and found that Longwood had the perfect balance of open and green areas, indoor spaces for playing/eating/sleeping, and discovering facilities that suited all age groups. All childcare centre and school team are so inviting and welcoming and provide really fantastic nurturing care. My little one has truly blossomed under their very capable and attentive hands. The school is like a huge family, everyone knows everyone! During the pandemic, despite the challenges, the school team gave exceptional education and near-to-normal journey to the kids, for which I am eternally grateful. The headmistress is consistently looking for ways to make the childcare centre/school life as exciting as possible for the kids, bringing in the much-needed element of enjoyable in discovering. I would highly suggest this place to anyone who would like their kid to learn in a nurturing, inviting and exciting setting! Our little one has been at this childcare centre since 11 months old.

Longwood has been an setting where our older kid has thrived, the team are genuinely attentive and compassionate. Its been really reassuring knowing that our kids are well cared for, stimulated and given inviting nutritious meals throughout the day.
We’re very grateful for everything the team has done for our kids and highly suggest them. We have been with Longwood for over 2 years now and have just enrolled our second kid, who has just started.

My daughter has benefitted from plenty of attention and assistance throughout the childcare centre years and I consistently felt confident that she is in great hands. She is currently enjoying her preschool first term.

Longwood School & Childcare centre is a excellent school with a cheerful, structured and balanced setting for my four-year-old daughter to develop her early year’s skills and strengthen her self‑assurance.

My son has attended since he was six months old (he is now two and a half). The team are welcoming and remarkable with the kids and keep parents updated. My son is consistently talking about what he has been up to, and he is super confident which I believe is down to his time at childcare centre and he consistently goes in and comes out cheerful. I can’t suggest it highly enough. I could not be any happier with Longwood Childcare centre.

Team are really welcoming and very supportive. Despite my daughter’s personal challenges, Longwood has been helping her in every possible way including SENCO assistance. The headteacher, in particular, has been very understanding and super supportive, because of which we have committed to keeping our daughter at Longwood throughout till Year 6. Preschool and Reception class educators have been the best. Also, the school’s long opening hours is a bonus for working parents like us.
During the Covid outbreak, Longwood has been following strict guidelines and has been keeping us parents well informed which helps to keep our minds at rest. We know our kids are secure at school.
Our daughter loves the varieties of nutritional diets being served at school.
The daily activities for kids are phenomenal including academic coursework and feedback to parents via the app. Longwood has been the best decision for our daughter who attended Preschool in 2019 and is currently attending Reception.

In the short time, he has attended the childcare centre, we have seen a huge difference in his development. He thoroughly enjoys going to childcare centre and this must be attributed to the all team and the various activities they have. Can’t suggest this childcare centre enough! Our son recently joined in September 2022 and he settled in wonderfully.

I am so glad that we discovered Longwood. It’s a small private setting with a family sense and it’s done wonders for my kids. The childcare centre team were fantastic for both the kids, particularly my very shy son (who is no longer as shy as he was, thanks to Longwood). The incredible team and small class sizes have nurtured the kids from childcare centre through to school. They adore going in and are thriving. Both are extremely cheerful and constantly surprising us with all that they learn. The team go out of their way to make kids and parents sense welcome, secure and involved. They settled in very quickly and as a working parent, I have complete peace of mind and am continually amazed at the strong bond the kids have with each other and with their educators/carers. I’d highly suggest the childcare centre and school. My son and daughter both attended Longwood childcare centre and are now in Longwood school and pre-school.

It’s a very nurturing place to be. The team were so reassuring as I was anxious to leave her so young. I’m so impressed with the development my kid has made and look forward to seeing her skills improve. Would highly suggest it. My daughter and I adore Longwood, she started at 3 months old and now in reception, we couldn’t be happier, all the team are expert welcoming and polite.
