All four of our children attend Lloyd Williamson Schools, with two in the nursery and two in the school. Our children are so happy at the school. Lloyd Williamson not only ensures that our children achieve superior academic standards but also enriches them on an interpersonal and cultural level. My husband and I very much appreciate the school’s parallel focus on the core/traditional subjects along with the arts and languages.

Having children in the nursery and the school has allowed us a great insight into the journey the school takes each child on, ensuring that the children are confident, happy, challenged and stretched at every stage. In this way, Lloyd Williamson produces high achieving, well-rounded children who love learning. We highly recommend the nursery (we have had two children at the W8 site too, from 2012 – 2016, which is also fantastic) and the school.

I was introduced to Lloyd Williamson Schools by parents’ forums online. I read the glowing OFSTED report, made an appointment to see the school and was delighted by the sight of happy children in purposeful play. I was shown around by the principal who inspired me with her vision of children’s development, self-reliance, confidence, self-esteem and curiosity in a diverse environment. With pupil and teacher-led learning, children are nurtured to achieve their potential. I was impressed by the culture, small class sizes, extra-curricular activities and emphasis on positive relationships and mutual empathy and respect. All children, staff and parents appear to love being a part of LWS’ community and welcoming atmosphere. The nursery manager always answers my countless questions fully. My son is excited to go to nursery every day. It provides a secure and stable foundation. This is a wonderful place where each child can flourish. I would like my son to stay at LWS until their new Year 11 and beyond.

My wife and I are very happy with the nursery. Our son went from one to one care to a room full of children and understandably took some time to adjust. The staff at the nursery were very caring and accommodating and this includes the administrative staff who are not involved in teaching him. Our son now has made many friends and talks about his teachers with great affection.

The staff and teachers at Lloyd Williamson are so lovely. My babysitter suddenly quit a few weeks before I was finishing a job so I started sending my daughter, (who is currently 21 months), to Lloyd Williamson on Telford Road and all I can say is that I wish I sent her there from the beginning! The staff and teachers are so lovely, welcoming and flexible and she loved it after the first day. Every morning she asks to go to school she has such fun there. At the end of the day, the teachers give you a review sheet of what your child did at school, what he/she ate, how long he/she slept for etc.. which is great!

    I would highly recommend it!!!

The nursery believes in the ability of each child and has a platform for kids to source their abilities, confidence and challenges. They also spend a lot of time communicating with the kids (even one on one). My child attended all the stages of the nursery (longer than a year) from Babyroom to Cherubs with no major issues. I’ve been very impressed with my child’s learning and development which I spend time reviewing with my child at home. I do not compare my child’s ability to other children. Teachers are caring, my child is very happy and that’s what matters to me at this stage. I do not let minor concerns take that away. Any concerns/issues I spoke to management who is approachable and worked with me to secure positive outcomes. However, there is room for improvement of the staff/management being more proactive. Overall, I’m a very hands-on, caring and concerned parent, and I am satisfied with the nursery. The caring interaction with the lower and upper school children is also a plus.

Great schools and nurseries, friendly and professional staff! Safeguarding of children/pupils is at a high level. Was pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable the staff were about risk assessment and the general safety of pupils. Great central location for the nurseries and schools around West London / Kensington. Very cosmopolitan, multi-cultural, open-minded and diverse. Food is catered at the premises with a chef providing great dishes including vegetarian, low-calorie, gluten-free, kosher and halal meals. My partner’s goddaughter loves it there! A very personal and professional approach to children’s’ education – with great, smaller sized classes where everyone gets good attention… a great plus! Highly recommended. 5 stars from me! A+++++.

Our child has been in this nursery from age one part-time, until now, age four years full-time. He loves it and has formed very happy attachments to his teachers, and to the staff as a whole. We are very pleased with how personalised the attention is to each child, enabling them to develop their individualities and strengths specific to them. The nursery offers a really good range of weekly activities, such as French, Yoga, Ballet/Dance, Music class – as well as following the Early Years syllabus.
We also find the staff very approachable, and always ready for a friendly chat, or a meeting if there is ever anything we’d like to discuss.
Our son very much enjoys the stimulation of having other children to socialise and learn with, especially as the nursery ensures that the children have times to mix with older and younger age groups as well, which we believe is really valuable for social development.
Having great access to adventure playground facilities is also a big bonus for growing kids.

My son has thrived in this fantastic nursery. There is not one day that I have regretted sending him there. He has attended Lloyd Williamson since baby room and has developed significantly, academically and socially. The staff take time to understand each child and work on their individual strengths and weaknesses. Each member of staff is polite and welcoming; my son is always happy to go into nursery and talks about his daily activities, friends and teachers non stop when he gets home. My son has allergies and the nursery have been excellent in accommodating his needs, a stark contrast from his previous childcare provider. This is an excellent educational establishment and secure environment that I would recommend to anyone.

My granddaughter has been educated at the Lloyd Williamson Schools for over 12 years.
I have been delighted to witness her splendid development during this time.
The school has given her not only a fine education but a liberal, wise and humane respect for the world, its people and our environment.

Lovely little nursery. The staff are experienced. They genuinely care about their children and work closely with the families to help the children reach their potential. They are very helpful especially with toilet training and behavioural management. The management is great and is flexible to help with extra sessions when needed. I would highly recommend.

Lovely small nursery, kind and very child-centric environment. My three year old loves it, and has amazingly started writing incredibly early due to his key worker getting him really enthused about letters! Highly recommended.

The sign up process was very smooth, with encouragement from the staff. Test day went smoothly and all other days have equally been good. My child is happy to go to school on the selected days.

My husband and I have been very impressed with Lloyd Williamson Schools nursery on Telford Road. Our son joined a few months ago when he was 13 months and he has flourished there. It is so clear that he loves going to the nursery as he is always so happy when he is met at the door by one of the staff and we always pick him up with a smile on his face.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful and genuinely interested in making sure our son is happy and developing. It is a small nursery which feels like a family. This was one of the reasons we chose LWS, along with the option for a 7:30 – 18:00 day, the outside space provision and position next to a park.

I was also not expecting them to take the children on trips, which have been excellent. Our son particularly loved the visit to the Science Museum!

Our son started nursery at Lloyd William Schools in September 2021!
I cannot emphasize enough how happy he is at nursery and how excited he is every day when I say that we’re getting ready to go nursery!
He absolutely loves his teacher and he has lots of friends at nursery.
Our son is a picky eater so our idea of him having lunch at nursey it was by far the best! Slowly but surely he’s eating is gotten much better.
He’s learning lots at nursery and they have lots of activities, lots of fun.
I’m happy I chose this nursery, he’s getting a good start in life!
Thank you to everyone that works at Lloyd William School!

The Lloyd Williamson Schools Foundation Nursery is fantastic. They are not only attentive but extremely supportive. Since my daughter joined in June 2022, she has developed considerably from a cognitive, behavioural and physical perspective. I’m always kept informed of how she is developing and they often recommend extra activities to help her address any challenging areas she may have at the time. I can also tell how much my daughter loves going to the nursery, as she tells me what she does each day, as well as about her key workers and friends. I’m so pleased that I chose Lloyd Williamson Schools Foundation Nursery to start off her school journey. I can’t thank them enough.

Overall I’m very pleased with the childcare received at The Lloyd Williamson Schools Nursery, my son is always pleased and ready to go to nursery. I can tell he’s enjoyed his day before the staff have given me a handover of the day as he’s full of smiles upon collection. The level of care provided throughout the day from attentiveness to encouraging development activities are honestly amazing and I can see the changes in growth of my son since he’s been attending. Staff are warm and welcoming, management is top tier and very approachable. From management to nursery nurses the genuine level of care and concern for the children is evident. During my tour before starting the nursery I witnessed a member of staff cuddling one of the children who was so at peace resting their head on her shoulder whilst others were engaging in conversation with children and others playing with toys with them. It was exactly what I wanted for my son I’m at ease leaving my son at nursery I have absolutely no worries. Amazing All in All

I love how kind and caring everyone is at Lloyd Williamson, I was very nervous about leaving my child and returning to work but they really put me at ease. Being a small nursery means that it has a real family feel and everyone knew us after the first day. My child is so happy at nursery and loves going each day which makes my life much easier at work. I highly recommend!

Many thanks to all staff at Lloyds Williamson Schools Nursery, for all the hard work and love and pure dedication that you put into caring for my child.
My child was very shy when he first started, and even though it took a while for him to settle, he got there in the end. You never gave up on him, we really appreciate you all and will never forget all your efforts. We will miss you.

Staff at Lloyd Williamson Schools Foundation Nursery has been consistently keeping up to excellent standards. My little one always goes in and comes out very happy, she seems to love it at the nursery! Sometimes when we had reviews in the past to suggest for improvements, staff at LWS always take them on board and continually improve their services, which deserves high praise. I do not hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.
