I visited a number of nurseries in the surrounding areas before seeing Hedgehogs and when I did I knew instantly it was the perfect setting for my toddler. It is spacious, has experienced carers, exceptional management vision, an incredible variety of activities and outstanding food variations for all meals. We are consistently kept informed as parents and the use of Tapestry is excellent as we can see what our little one gets up to each day. He is consistently cheerful when we pick him up and it is clear that he has been well cared for by people with a genuine interest in the kids’s development and well-being. We are so cheerful with Hedgehogs.

Our 20 month old son thoroughly enjoys his days here, and consistently runs in with a smile on his face. This is testament to the hard work and genuine care that all of the team show towards him, and it is clear to see from the pictures and videos that our son is cheerful when in their care. There is consistently such a broad and varied range of activities available for the kids to participate in, and we like the fact that the team plan activities based on the kids’s interests. The kids really benefit from the incredible grounds and outdoor space of St John’s on the Hill school. Highly suggest! We could not be happier with the provision, care and facilities at Hedgehog’s Childcare centre.

He started at Hedgehogs when he was around 9-months-old. I can’t praise the childcare centre enough, particularly recently having managed the Coronovirus situation. Management has communicated fantastically and been very supportive of parents. During the period where kids weren’t able to attend childcare centre, they kept in touch with us via the app to ensure we still had a connection to the childcare centre. Team uploaded messages, videos and resources.
After three months off, I thought my son would find it difficult to return, but our journey was quite the opposite; he couldn’t wait to get back and now strolls in each morning he attends, very eager to see his friends and the team. He is consistently cheerful, and we know he is so well looked after. I cannot praise the team and set up enough.
The app is exceptional. I can see how my son is getting on through the day; how he has eaten and slept and the activities he’s been doing. It means I can work knowing he is cheerful. Our son is now 20-months-old.

My daughter is 20 months and has been attending since she was 13 months old. She absolutely loves her time at childcare centre and is so excited when I drop her off each morning. The team are so welcoming and attentive, I know she is well taken care of. The parents’ app they use is exceptional for providing updates throughout the day and gives me peace of mind that everything is OK. The team organise lots of varied and interesting activities for the kids and they spend a lot of time outdoors, as the grounds are outstanding. The management team are also exceptional and are very accommodating if I need to add extra days. The care provided at Hedgehogs really is remarkable and I can’t rate them highly enough. Hedgehogs is such a fantastic childcare centre.

They both absolutely adore their time at Hedgehogs. The range of activities is so broad from soft playtime, reading to outdoor playtime and everything in between, keeping my energetic kids entertained from start to finish.
The team are so engaging and welcoming and have formed remarkable relationships with both my kids.
I would not hesitate to fully suggest Hedgehogs to anyone looking for a childcare centre for their kid. My eldest has been attending since he was 11 months old and my youngest has just started.

New manager has put in policies meaning parents have a say in how kids are discovering and the setting they are discovering in. Facilities are outstanding with a stellar outside area. Outstanding childcare centre, stellar interaction from team with parents.

She is very well cared for and really enjoys the wide range of activities, including French and dancing. The team work well with parents and most recently supported us on potty training. My daughter has a specific diet which has also been met in full, yet maintain a diverse selection. My daughter has attended Hedgehogs Childcare centre for 18 months.

Without them remaining open my wife and I would not have been able to keep working full time as Emergency workers. Well done and Thank you so much for staying open throughout the pandemic. Incredible team.

They have made me and my boys sense so welcomed under the current circumstances and really put my mind at ease. The boys are so cheerful in the childcare centre.
I am updated on a daily basis with pictures and videos which is lovely to see what they are getting up to. My boys joined the childcare centre when their current one shut due to Covid-19.

This has been particularly noted during the Covid-19 pandemic as there have been a constant stream of changes to protect all involved. My little one has been attending for the majority as I am a keyworker, but he has taken all the changes in his stride, due to the assistance of the team and updates to all parents and kids, throughout. He is thriving and changing constantly, and that’s down to the team supporting appropriately during these times. He loves being back with his friends too! Thanks Hedgehogs for all your help and continued assistance of both our little one and us as parents, and for your excellent information sharing throughout and continuing. My little one has been attending Hedgehogs for some time now, with excellent success, there have been some bumps in the road, but all dealt with with professionalism and assistance, to ultimately build my little one into the confident little man he is today.
