Little Rays Nursery Moira

All the team are lovely and seem to build excellent connections with the kids. My little boy consistently has a smile on the morning when I handover him over, which makes things a lot easier. They use an app which is excellent to keep up with what your little one is eating and sleeping. There are consistently so many excellent activities on there as well with photos of your little one doing them. He also seems to adore the food that’s cooked for them. Nice to know he’s eating well. Would highly suggest.

It’s fair to say he bounces out of the car and the whole way in every single day
There has never once been a tear nor an ‘I don’t want to go to school today’.
He adores Little Rays and the team are like big sisters to him and he simply adores them also.
He has risen from babies through adventures to his current class seekers and we would hope he would be accepted for pre-school also.
There are no negatives he has made excellent friends and in these crazy times, it is excellent to have a constant like Little Rays.
Indeed updates has been consistent, clear and expert at all times and we have felt our son is in a highly secure and spotless setting. The team are dedicated and genuinely care for the kids in their care.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Little Rays even over the other outstanding day care facilities that our 2 older kids attended. It genuinely is that great. Our son started here a week after his 1st Birthday (he is now 3) and absolutely loves ‘going to school’.

The girls in the rooms she has been in have been exceptional with her and have truly helped her helped with her development. They go over and above to give her the best care possible. She runs into childcare centre and has learnt so much. The app makes it easy for forms to be signed and keeps us updated during the day as well as with her observations. Cannot suggest Little Rays enough. My niece has attended Little Rays for over a year and she absolutely loves it.

The setting created by management and team is inviting, positive and kid-centred – with lots of thought and effort put into day-to-day and seasonal activities. The rooms are bright, colourful, spotless and well-maintained. The outside playtime areas are excellent and can accommodate all weather outdoor activities. There is a big focus on nature and the outdoors for mental and physical wellbeing of kids. We have complete peace of mind knowing our kids are in excellent hands. Both my kids have attended Little Rays since ten months of age, four days per week (since 2020).
The childcare centre provides a secure, reliable and high-quality level of care.

The updates on her day and development are fabulous, and it’s excellent having the self‑assurance in the team to look after her. They provide an outstanding range of food and nutrition and help her try things I possibly wouldn’t consistently try at home. I 100% would suggest it to anyone in the area! My little one has recently started at Little Rays, and she has settled so quickly.

They absolutely adore attending and my daughter is consistently coming home with chat of her friends and stories about what she did in the day. Highly suggest. My son and daughter both attend little rays – seekers and baby rooms.

They both adore going in, and have developed truly great bonds with the team who are consistently engaging and highly supportive. They provide a excellent range of activities and plenty of outdoor time for the kids, as well as lots of seasonal enjoyable items during the year. Highly suggest! I have two kids currently at Little Rays (ages 2 and 4), and both have attended since around one year old.

Team are all excellent and keep the kids busy with lots of different activities, including lots of outdoor playtime and messy playtime! The team put up lots of photos on the app to let you see what they’ve been up to each day. In what has been a highly difficult year Little Rays has been a slice of normality, and as our daughter is an only kid it’s been so beneficial for her to have socialisation with other kids. It’s also a excellent bridge to a more formal preschool setting. My daughter has been going to Little Rays since she was 9 months (now 21 months) and she loves it.

The team are all truly lovely, the setting they create has helped our kids develop and flourish and we are comfortable that they are secure and well looked after whenever they are in childcare centre. Plus the kids truly delight in it too! The childcare centre has taken exceptional care of our kids, going above and beyond what we could have expected of them.

Which has been the most important thing for us.
Management has recently changed and things are ‘warmer’ since (used to be difficult to have a conversation with management), but updates regarding useful things which are non-covid related is somewhat lacking.
Flexibility is truly difficult if you need help with an ad-hoc day and fees have recently been put up again. Those who are part-time are penalised with higher fees, despite the childcare centre being full.
It would be nice for the kids to have a enjoyable day out to the park or local farm but unfortunately, we haven’t seen much of that. Activities could be more exciting.
It would be excellent to have more regular formal reports as to key milestones that are being reached, developmental behaviours, and social activities. These haven’t been received. We don’t know if they are using any ICT. My childcare centre pal is truly useful – when updated. The girls who work with the kids in the room have consistently been truly compassionate to my kids.
