Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Stonehouse (Harborne)

It’s a good place overall. Slightly expensive compared to other mid-range nurseries but has better attention. But a couple of times, I noticed loose nappies remaining unchanged almost till we did the pickup in the evening, which caused rashes and itchiness making my kid all irritated in the evening and night unable to sleep well. It was sorted after I mentioned it, so satisfied. Understandable with shortages of crew in the industry overall.

The early‑years hub team were incredible as they always kept me up to date on how he is doing and reassured me via the app and whenever I called. I was exceptionally wary of my boy starting as I had never left him with anyone. Best nursery setting by far. My little one adores it here and has developed so much, the activities are fantastic and they have incredible outdoor areas. I Couldn’t endorse the early‑years hub enough! My young lad started nursery setting when he was 8months old.

My young lady enjoys coming to childcare centre which is a reflection of the great, enriching space around her. My young lady settled in well thanks to the great team. My young lad also went to and in the four years we have been coming to nursery setting we only have positive things to say. Staff are welcoming, useful, caring and provide great activities and lots of discovering for my little one. I trust the whole team and feel self‑assured every day my girl joins.

Our little boy adores his time at the childcare centre. We would enthusiastically suggest to any parents. There are such varied activities for him to get involved in each day and his key worker and team are remarkable.

Her confidence with her speech has really progressed and this has been a result of the dedicated time team have spent with her, helping her to develop with updates. As parents, we really appreciate the detailed feedback the early‑years hub provides us regarding her growth and the advice they provide. Since our little one has been at this childcare centre she has developed so well and is clearly so pleased when she goes.

When she started November 2022 she only said a few words but now she is the right chatterbox and that’s thanks to this early‑years hub. My young lady has developed so much since starting here, especially with her speech. Fantastic childcare centre and wonderful crew.

The team are exceptionally kind and hands-on. I like how I’m kept up to date on the app about his meals and activities and his progress. My time has been great.

The early‑years hub itself is in a lovely building with good sites and plenty to stimulate the little ones. My girl especially adores the food! She had learnt so much through the activities she does and has such a great foundation now to build on when she goes to school. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better journey for our young lady. All the crew are kind, welcoming and engaging. They all seem passionate about the kids and their roles.

Thank you. There is a strong home-nursery relationship and they often invite us in for stay-and-play sessions. Her CMPA is well-catered for. They cater to her interests and encourage her in her absorbing. I receive detailed information on what she’s been up to and I treasure reading how she’s getting on against EYES framework. I am so glad I chose First Steps for my little one. They are reassuring when I feel like I don’t know what I am doing! Nursery are always flexible and all the crew are supportive and approachable.

Friendly employees, who respond to children’s needs. Little Pioneers Stonehouse is a great childcare centre. After we decided to take my young lad from the previous childcare centre we were worried about how he would adapt to the new place but it was quick and he adores this early‑years hub.
