Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Newburn

The team are outstanding and truly care for the kids. The activities are well-planned and thought out. The food is varied, and the outdoor space is excellent. The only flaw we have found is there seems to sometimes be a lack of updates between team, be it for business or another reason, and sometimes getting a message across from one person to another is difficult, for example, it took quite a few sessions for the message of not having a nap time to become on board, due to team updates (however, I do understand they are busy!). I do also wish there were more photos put onto the gallery to view at home. Aside from this and the occasional item of clothing being sent home to the wrong person, we haven’t had any big issues. Team have been more than supportive in his original settling in and are outstanding when it comes to making him sense comfortable and cheerful. I would suggest and have done to anyone. I highly much adore the childcare centre for my kid.

He loves the activities they do with him. Supportive team, they have been highly supportive to us during difficult times at home. We have consistently had a welcoming reception, my son loves coming and seeing his ‘teacher’s’ and friends.

My daughter also enjoyed attending this childcare centre before she went into school, can’t suggest it enough! Remarkable childcare centre, my little boy loves going every week, he enjoys everything about it from the lovely welcoming and attentive team to the remarkable fresh, healthy and diverse choice in meals.

We have both found that the team in our son’s room got him to settle so well they have adapted well to looking after him and are highly understanding of his everyday needs. This is especially noticeable when we collect him, he is often settled and is smiling away.
The girls do an incredible job and deserve a lot of credit. My son started attending Little Pioneers Childcare centre back in October and has been welcomed with open arms every time he attends.

Through the initial settling in period and transition to the older rooms, he has been supported and looked after. He loves attending childcare centre now and has a excellent relationship with team. They do lots of new activities with the kids to keep them entertained and have a lovely setting for him to thrive. He loves the large outdoor space and spends a lot of time outside. They also take the kids out locally for walks. Our son has attended from 9 months old.

The team, facilities and care have all been outstanding, and I have seen my son thrive, developing skills and friendships. The discovering goals are tailored to my son’s interests and they stretch his skills in enjoyable ways and the team are cheerful to accommodate, eg using cloth nappies. They even managed to get my contact napper to nap! We’re completely cheerful with our choice to send our son here. My son has been going to Little Pioneers Childcare centre for 4 days a week for nearly a year now, and we couldn’t be happier.

He comes home singing a multi of childcare centre rhymes and sometimes teaches me and my husband a thing or two about them! The childcare centre team are lovely and are so inviting and welcoming with the kids. He gets lots of time outdoors and making crafts…the childcare centre have also hosted a couple of themed days this year which have been lovely. Couldn’t rate the childcare centre highly enough! Our kid truly enjoys childcare centre and has made lots of friends.

My son has been attending the childcare centre since he was 1, so has been through every class. The development, assistance and reassurance from the whole team are exceptional – even getting food ideas from the member of team in the kitchen. We’ll be so sad to leave in September when he goes to school. The team are remarkable!

I believe the childcare centre has encouraged this. The team are consistently highly attentive and understanding. My nephew loves coming to childcare centre. He loves playing with the toy cars they have – especially. I’m highly cheerful with this childcare centre and I’m glad my nephew has a place here. My nephew has developed highly well and has turned into a lovely, cheerful little boy.

The childcare centre has up-to-date resources and a lovely setting. I am consistently kept up to date with my kid’s day via the online journal system and the team in the room are consistently available for verbal handovers and updates too. My favourite thing about Newburn childcare centre is the outdoor time they provide my son with, he is a highly active little boy and he consistently has access to the outdoor space at this childcare centre no matter what the weather is like. He has the opportunity to playtime, explore, learn and develop in the way he loves to and we truly appreciate this as a family. My little boy has been attending this childcare centre for almost a year and I am more than cheerful with the education and care he receives.
