Little Manor Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Runcorn

We were looking for a place where our child would feel at home while away from us. At Little Manor the staff are really helpful and, although our little girl is really shy and was generally afraid of all adults, she got really close to one member of staff in particular in such a short period of time. It was a great help when leaving our child that she wasn’t crying or upset and she is so happy to see this member of staff every morning. I’m really happy with her progress too as she seems to have started talking a lot more and now she is less afraid of strangers too. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

I would recommend Little Manor Day Nursery as my child was excited to go to nursery every day and developed a lot from her time there. All the staff looked after her. I am so glad we chose Little Manor.

My little boy has attended Little Manor nursery since October 2021. I was so nervous about him starting as we had spent so much time just the two of us during the pandemic and I worried about how he would react. The first few weeks were so daunting and he was visibly upset on drop off but the nursery staff (particularly staff in the baby room) were amazing at keeping in contact and always (and still do) had the time to tell me what he had done during the day. Before he started at Little Manor he really struggled with his eating but he has come on leaps and bounds with it and eats things I never thought he would! The nursery staff are brilliant and do so much with the children. He no longer cries on drop-offs and when I get there he’s always playing or doing a group activity! Little Manor have really helped with his development and he is now walking, playing more independently, and showing more interest in activities! Thank you, Little Manor, you’ve been brilliant so far!

I have two children at Little Manor Day Nursery. Both are currently in the toddler room. They love nursery days and are always very happy and excited to attend. Staff are lovely and provide little updates at pick-up time which is always appreciated. There are always lots of activities and fun things to do.
The nursery were recently very supportive when I requested a change in the children’s usual attendance due to my dad’s funeral. I hope they know how much this kind gesture meant to our family.

My baby was at Little Manor for four months. She was at an age where she was crawling and always putting her hands in her mouth. Her socks were filthy every day and I raised this with the Deputy Manager. It was clear this was dirt from the floor and I was concerned about the risks to her health. I was told the floor was cleaned regularly. After a few weeks, there had not been any improvement and I raised it with the Manager who was defensive and reticent to take my concerns and suggestions on board. She did eventually ask parents to stay in a small area of the room.
Before enrolling, I was told about a digital learning book that would give a record of her time there. I was told it would be updated at least two times weekly. We had three updates in the first week, but then just three updates in the next four months.
I was also concerned about the staff turnover. While my baby was there, several members of staff left the baby room. There was one occasion when I did not recognise a single adult who was looking after my baby.

We are more than happy with the care our daughter receives at the Little Manor. She is thriving there and the staff are always thinking of creative activities for the children and really engaging them. I would not hesitate to recommend to other parents.

Since joining Little Manor my son has come on so much. A big thank you to the team, especially his key worker who has helped so much.

My son started at Little Manor in July 2022 and still goes there today. He absolutely loves the time he spends there. Not only does he get well looked after but his confidence, learning and development have all drastically improved since attending. In my opinion the staff are what makes the place amazing, they go out of their way to ensure the children are having fun whilst putting the parents at ease with continuous updates.
