Little Hubbers Day Nursery

I honestly sense like they are all there because they adore the kids. My toddler goes running in. All of the team are lovely. Truly lovely and attentive childcare centre. I absolutely adore the childcare centre and the team.

All the team have made my little girl sense so welcome, and it has warmed my heart to see her cheerful to go in, even stopping them in the street to say hello. Over the moon that I can see what she’s doing through the day through their Facebook page, it’s lovely being able to watch my baby learn and grow. Highly cheerful to send my little girl into the childcare centre, knowing she will be well cared for and consistently has an incredible time!

My son has been there just over a year and has loved every minute. The team are attentive and attentive every day, you fully trust you are leaving your kid in secure hands. They do trips out and activities almost every day and he looks forward to his days at childcare centre with his friends. Little Hubbers is a exceptional childcare centre.

After my first initial contact with the owner, I knew there was something special about this childcare centre. They were so accommodating, inviting and welcoming on my first visit.
My daughter has flourished since starting and we as parents are noticing huge developments at home; from, new sounds, words and exploring different foods.
The team are incredible, the activities carried out daily are so refreshing and creative.
The girls send updates and use the childcare centre daily diary as additional updates which is remarkable.
The parent partnership is phenomenal and I can’t wait to watch my little girl achieve so much with the help, assistance and skill from all the team. They go above and beyond, watching them with all of the kids is incredible, the way they adapt to each kid ensuring it is all highly person-centred.
Thank you for all that you do. You are all incredible and deserve your weight in gold. Choosing a childcare centre as a parent was not something I did lightly.

He strolls in cheerful every morning and even happier when he leaves. The team are highly loving towards him and he clearly adores them which is what you want when you’re trusting somebody to watch your kid three days a week. They are also highly supportive with any queries and issues on my part which is incredible. The day trips and walks that they take the kids on are also exceptional. Overall, a remarkable childcare centre, definitely suggest it. My son absolutely loves this childcare centre and I’ve never had any issues in the nearly six months that he has been attending.

There is no garden but the kids go to the park everyday, and leave the childcare centre for trips twice a day. Our little one is truly well cared for and we are highly cheerful with the childcare centre and highly suggest. The kids go on lots of day trips on the ferry, metro and to the aquarium which other nurseries don’t offer.

She has the best time playing with their high-tech equipment, the soft playtime and the cosy sensory room. The kids go on regular days out to the park, the beach trips to South Shields, the farm – my daughter consistently comes home cheerful and tired. The team are excellent too, they genuinely care about the kids and their families. Nothing is too much trouble and they tend to individual needs fantastically. I can’t praise this childcare centre enough, I’ll be sad when she has to leave. My daughter absolutely loves it here.

As a baby, she was in cloth nappies which was a bit unusual but the team learned and worked with us highly well. They’ve aided her through everything, as we’ve gone through their classes and they appear to do everything they can to ensure that she had a fulfilling and enjoyable journey that’s appropriate for her. Supporting our gentle/responsive parenting approach in the way that assistance and guide the kids. Other things that we particularly like is that the kids are taken out every day (unless there’s some extreme weather that would render it unsafe for the kids), as well as having remarkable facilities for the kids to explore. My little one has been at this childcare centre for nearly two years, she’s grown with them, starting in the baby room and now into preschool and I haven’t been able to fault then at all.

All was well for the first six months but since I dropped his hours the owner has been exceptionally unhelpful regarding changing hours and various issues. Since my son went back after lockdown the care he has been receiving is awful. He only went 3 mornings a week 3 hours per session. On one week he came home in different clothes each day he was there as his nappy had soaked. Almost every time I’ve picked him up his nappy has been either wet or bulging. I have now taken him out of the childcare centre and the manager has done nothing but argue, be highly rude, and unprofessional despite me being highly reasonable. Glad I’ve decided not to send him back as that’s not the type of person I want around my son. I’m yet to receive my deposit back and have now been blocked for asking when I will get it. Have kept all of the messages and taken screenshots, and if this isn’t sorted I will be reporting the childcare centre and taking legal action. My son has been going here since not long after they opened.

It took me a lot of time to consider a childcare centre for my son, this decision wasn’t taken lightly at all. My son has been attending this remarkable childcare centre for three months now and I am delighted to see how excited he is to see his friends and the team during his sessions. The team are highly expert and welcoming and provide detailed daily feedback on my son’s development. The team has also been particularly supportive and patient over the last three months while my son has settled in. I have no reservations about leaving my son in the care of this childcare centre and have already recommended it to other families. The team are a huge credit to this childcare centre. Thumbs up.
