ParkingDue to the city centre location, there is no parking at this setting. There is an access road for drop off and collection only but this is at the drivers own risk. It is recommended that Monk Bar Car Park (Sat Nav Postcode YO31 7QR) is used, followed by a short walk through Monk Bar to the Nursery.

We would definitely suggest Little Green Rascals Organic Day Childcare centre. Out little boy has been at the childcare centre for 4 months now and we couldn’t be happier.

I adore the fact that naps are one of the priorities across all ages, the menu is incredible and updates through the family app are made regularly. My daughter loves her key carer and has been thriving in her new setting, enjoying lots of discovering, playing and adventures. The gorgeous location right opposite the Minster is an added bonus. Having moved our daughter from another childcare centre we could not be more delighted with Little Green Rascals.

October 19, 2024 at 9:23 amIt’s a lovely setting and I like the team. The food is also lovely. The downside is it has become highly expensive and I realise that’s partly the cost of living etc. but it does mean I can only do four days and even that is a big financial burden for us. But that’s a Government issue as well of course. My son has been attending since he was one and he’s now almost three.

All of the team have been incredible and have helped him settle in so well. The menu is incredible and enough to make me jealous. Absolutely incredible setting.

They are creative with the range of activities. Our kid loves it! The childcare centre team are so lovely and truly get to know your kid.

And also thanks for the frequent updates to parents through the app, it’s precious for us when we are at work! My son has been going to Little Green Rascals Minster for three months now and he truly changed and developed, not only because he simply grows, but truly in his way to be around other kids and the things he does and got from his days in Little Green Rascals definitely.

She seems to adore every minute and has formed an evidently close bond with her key person, who has been attentive and attentive with her and supportive and reassuring with us, as first-time parents. April 10, 2025 at 4:16 amTeam are incredible, highly attentive with our son and consistently updates us on how he is getting on each day. We get daily updates so we can see how much he has eaten, slept etc.
Our little one is also cheerful and enjoying his time in the childcare centre. Thank you for your hard work and for making sure our son is cheerful, secure, enjoys his time there and gets the skills he needs! Highly cheerful that we chose Little Green Rascals for our little one.

Structured and free playtime make days enjoyable for everyone. A remarkable place for our little one. Little Green Rascals – Minster Yard is such a welcoming, loving setting for kids.

April 21, 2025 at 3:08 amWe were recommended them by a member of their maintenance team and we liked the description of their commitment to high standards, their ‘forest school’ outdoor spaces and their general ethos.
The team all seem highly welcoming and keep you highly well informed of what is going on with your rascal throughout the day, by sending pictures and messages through the app.
The food menu is highly great quality and made fresh on-site, posted on the app the day before so you consistently know what your rascal will be having.
There are cheaper nurseries around, but who wants to send their kids to a cut price childcare centre? LGR is our first journey with day nurseries.

May 6, 2025 at 1:18 pmThe team are outstanding and create a lovely atmosphere for the kids. We adore that the kids get taken outdoors wherever possible and there is consistently a new activity for them to delight in.
I can’t comment on ICT facilities as our daughter is too young for that. However the app we use is excellent and we get regular updates which we truly appreciate. Our daughter loves it here.

You can message the team and consistently get a prompt response. Management are exceptional and parents sense involved and their opinions valued. Highly suggest! Remarkable team.

The team genuinely care about the little ones and take time getting to know the parents too. My little one has come on so much in every way since starting Little Green Rascals 5 months ago and he loves his childcare centre days! The food is excellent too, and they are exceptional with intolerances. We are so pleased we chose Little Green Rascals Day Childcare centre for our little rascal.

Our daughter is absolutely thriving and we have such peace of mind that the care and attention she’s getting is second to none. The team are all incredible, they truly make the effort to get to you know you as a family and you can see they truly care about what they do, they’ve consistently got big smiles on their faces and my daughter is in adore with her key worker and her team. They consistently keep you up to date with all the enjoyable things they are getting up to and I’m consistently jealous of the tasty menu – my daughter eats much better than I do! There is lots of outdoor time as well as a relaxing sleep room – I call it a ‘the spa’ for babies because that’s how it feels. I couldn’t be happier here and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending to any parent looking for a remarkable setting for their little ones. What can I say except this is the most fantastic childcare centre!

The location is remarkable, food for the kids covers all styles and types and helps my daughter who has intolerances. Team have excellent updates with us, overall remarkable.
