However, I do sense that the Haxby branch is overpriced given that they do not offer the forest school that I know the other nurseries in the area have. I truly rate the team and think that the childcare centre overall is excellent.

She absolutely adores the team and has highly lovely bonds with each and every member. This is reflected during her time at home where she will often chat about the preschool team (Who are the first on her party invite list!!) My little girl has truly flourished since being here and I take excellent comfort in knowing that she is 1000% ready for school in September. I just want to say how incredible the team at Haxby truly are with my daughter and even though there has been a change in routine due to a refurb here; the team have consistently kept kids their number one priority and focus. My little girl has been attending here since she was in the baby room and is now a Little Green Rascal!

He feels secure, loved, comfortable and cheerful there thanks to the remarkable team who look after him with such care, attention and affection. He has hugely benefitted developmentally and is clearly well prepared for primary school now. He loves playing with all his friends at childcare centre and often tells me all about their adventures when I collect him. I consistently look forward to hearing about what fantastic activities or themes have been organised by the team and think it is outstanding that photo updates are often sent to parents so that we can delight in seeing them have enjoyable. I also appreciate the well-balanced meals that he has consistently had at childcare centre. The team are highly approachable, considerate and enthusiastic and show excellent discretion and professionalism. They are more than cheerful to meet to answer any questions or discuss any of my son’s particular requirements. My son has been going to this childcare centre for four years and, for him, it is a home away from home.

The practitioners are compassionate, welcoming and supportive and our son is so comfortable with all of them. The food they provide is outstanding and their use of the app to keep us updated on how his day is going is highly useful too. Highly recommended! He can be highly timid and is late talking, but they are excellent at making sure he is included in activities and gets lots of cuddles and reassurance when he needs them. You can tell the bond he’s formed with them by how he reacts when he sees the team there. They do lots of excellent activities, spend lots of time outdoors, and they consistently make time if I need to tell them or ask them about something. I’d suggest them to anyone. Little Green Rascals Haxby have been so lovely with our little boy.

This cheeky hen simply loves his newly refurbished playtime area. The reason why he loves his childcare centre is not just because of the lovely toys, picture art, pretend tree in the reading corner… although these things do help. He loves it because his key worker and the other members of the team care and cuddle, playtime and adore him, giving him undivided attention while I’m at work (having a break!)
My cheeky hen truly enjoys the delicious snacks and food he’s given through the day as I’m informed via a fab app that he’s eaten everything up! I don’t worry while I’m at work as I can check what he’s been up to at a quick glance.
The team at Haxby are lovely and my cheeky hen I’m sure would gladly go home with his key worker because he loves her so much (so much so she has to sneak out sometimes!) Kids are nothing but honest and this just goes to show the hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed! My little boy is a cheeky hen at Haxby Little Green Rascals!
