Little Flyers @ West Calder Nursery

The team are excellent with him and he has truly great relationships with the team also. All the team are highly welcoming and make us sense welcome. Our son has been attending for almost 1 year and we could not be happier with the service.

From the first visit, we felt he would be in a secure and comfortable setting.

Being at childcare centre he has thrived and often comes home with new skills or interests. An example of this is one day we finished reading a story and asked him to get us another book, he took the old book back, put it away and brought a new storybook over to read. We had never taught him this! This was at 12 months.
He has made excellent friends at childcare centre and the team are outstanding. There have been times he has been unwell or fallen over as toddlers do and have exceptionally great care taken of him.
From his time at childcare centre, he has started talking, walking, playing and feeding himself completely.
We couldn’t be happier with the Little Flyers team! My son has been attending Little Flyers @ West Calder & Out of School Care from 9 months old.

He absolutely loves it! All the team are remarkable – they’re enthusiastic, welcoming, attentive and highly clearly adore their jobs. It’s fantastic never having to worry about my kid when I’m at work as I know he’s cheerful, secure and having a excellent time. I’m impressed with the range of toys they have – lots of sensory and Montessori type playtime, as well as plenty of messy and outdoor playtime. I think the childcare centre truly excels in involving parents and carers and providing individualised care for each kid. My son started at Little Flyers at 9 months old and settled in straight away.

When he started he was highly shy and played by himself. Since attending he has become truly confident and has made loads of friends. It has been excellent to see him grow and have lots of different experiences. The app is exceptional and allows us to follow what he is up to during the day. The team are exceptional and he loves attending childcare centre. My son has been attending for some time.

It is a highly great childcare centre allowing the kids to develop in a secure and nurturing setting. Lots of activities are organised for the kids supporting their discovering and development, lots of outdoor activities, and messy playtime. My kids have been attending this childcare centre for over a year.

He took some time to settle in but the team were remarkable, consistently catering for his needs and keeping us informed of his development.
He has since moved into the toddler room and seems truly cheerful there. He loves being outside and the garden is excellent for little adventurers. He’s also been taken on a number of trips and outings which he loved.
The whole team are exceptional and highly welcoming. They made it so much easier for me to leave him knowing he was being so well looked after. Our little boy has been going to Little Flyers for a year now and he loves it.

She now spends mornings here and afternoons with her government-funded childcare centre. My daughter has an outstanding relationship with the team and I have no doubt she is in secure and capable hands when with them. In the last 6 month’s we have noticed a huge change in her self‑assurance and independence skills which has been encouraged by her key worker. I return to work soon from maternity and I will have no hesitation introducing my son to their baby room when the time comes. I cannot suggest them enough. My daughter has been with Little Flyers West Calder for over 2 years now.

Right from the beginning they have answered all our questions and made sure we had all the information we needed. The settling in sessions went excellent and the team there have helped our kids settle in and they truly delight in it and can’t wait to get back. I sense the childcare centre tries to keep parents involved as much as possible and keeps them up to date with what’s happening. There’s a lot of little touches that make it unique and give it that family sense. A excellent choice of childcare centre for our kids. Both our kids have just started at this childcare centre and the team have been so welcoming and welcoming.

I have three kids and all three attend Little Flyers (baby room and after school) they have helped my youngest come on massively with her talking and development. Little flyers are incredible their team are exceptionally welcoming and approachable.

I must say I am over the moon with how the team have been with him. Everyone knows him and says goodbye as we leave (even to the girls who don’t work directly with him). The team are consistently honest about how my son has been that day, even if he has been unsettled. This is all I ask! Just honesty about how he has been in himself and to know if he is ok. Its what every parent asks especially when leaving their kid with people they don’t know.

They consistently seem to have my son’s best interest at heart and seem to truly pay attention to him as an individual. You get daily reports as to how they have been that day and my husband actually questioned if I wrote one as it was so accurate to our boy! Like I say we have just started but so far we have been more than impressed! Xxx My son has just recently started this childcare centre this year.
