Little Explorers Day Nursery

Very homely and friendly environment, yet highly professional. Teachers are lovely with the children. They manage to soothe them if they are upset.
I recommend this nursery fully.
It would be great if it was open on Saturdays and closed at 7pm during the week.
Great that the children are allowed to have homemade food.

My daughter moved from the baby room to the midi room. I was very worried that my daughter wouldn’t settle as some of the children were older. That wasn’t the case. The staff were brilliant, they let her visit with me and let me do activities with her.
Now she is such a confident girl. I am so happy!

My daughter has been attending Little Explorers since April 2018. I absolutely love it and so does my daughter! The staff are amazing. The learning and care she received are outstanding. As well as the nursery nurses being brilliant, the management and admin team are also so lovely too. The menu is really good and gets her to try food I wouldn’t think of giving her at home. Overall I am pleased with my decision to put my daughter in the care of Little Explorers. I never have to worry about her care.

Little Explorers nursery is the best nursery for us in Liverpool. I want to find a safe and happy place for my 2 year old little boy when I am working.
I contacted many nurseries before and my boy has changed 2 nurseries before coming here. Little Explorers is really a good choice, staff here are very warm-hearted and patient to kids, they help me to do toilet training and teach my boy English, now my boy can speak some English sentences and sing English songs (we are from China, my boy’s native language is not English). Meanwhile, he learns to be polite to other people. We really appreciate their care and help with my boy.

My child has attended Little Explorers day nursery since she was 12 months and she is now nearly two-years-old. She absolutely loves going to nursery and adores two particular members of staff. They are a credit to Little Explorers and both go above and beyond with making a fuss of your child, helping them to settle and also interacting and learning new things. My child has gone from crawling to running and jumping and is extremely confident in doing so. She also learnt some letters from the alphabet, counting up to six, lots of songs and her vocabulary is great. I feel Little Explorers and the staff have had a great impact on her development. Thank you to the manager and the great staff in both micro and mini rooms.

Absolutely lovely nursery, my daughter loves attending here. She has learnt a lot since starting here in September and has grown in confidence. She is always full of stories and different exciting things she has learnt. The staff in her room are amazing and cannot do enough for her. The nursery is well organised and everyone is approachable and friendly. Management is amazing, always there if we need anything and always happy to help.

Little Explorers Day Nursery is an amazing nursery I have two children that currently attend each day, as have my previous children.
I can’t thank the team enough, they support my children to develop each day and my son tells me new information each week! The staff look after every need my children have and me too!
We especially enjoy that they are multicultural and have a vast variety of ethnicities to celebrate and embrace… Something they do with all of the children at every opportunity.
The price, the staff, the manager, the spaces, the gardens, sensory room and soft play are all amazing!
I have only the best words to say about this nursery, you are not making a mistake!

My child started at Little Explorers when he was just 3 months old. At first, I was terrified of leaving my baby with people I didn’t know. We did visits and met the nursery manager who made me feel like part of the family. Our son has been a Little Explorers for over 12 months now. His key person had concerns about his development but she worked hard with him each day to encourage him, she also gave us activities to use at home to encourage him too. We worked together and now his key person tells us/shows us photos in his file. He has progressed a lot. My wife and I both feel that the nursery is a safe place for our child, all of the staff members are very welcoming and put safety first. The gardens are amazing for a city centre location and my child enjoys the midi room at the moment. During COVID-19 we didn’t return straight away but when we went to visit the nursery we spoke about what was being implemented and everything had been thought of. Little Explorers will always be our UK family.

Our daughter has now been attending Little Explorers Day Nursery for 6 months and absolutely loves it. The baby room is calm and nurturing and now she is with the toddlers she continues to develop and grow each day. The staff are so friendly and always have time to discuss how the children are doing during drop off and collection time as well as keeping you updated using the baby days app and Tapestry. Our daughter loves attending nursery and we can tell she is learning so much. Thank you Little Explorers for taking such wonderful care of our little girl.

Where do I even start with how fantastic this nursery is? My son has been attending since he was 12 months old and the care he has had could not be better. All staff are so polite and kind. The nursery itself is always clean and has great facilities with lots of indoor and outdoor space. The variety of food he eats is perfect, great choice. All staff are excellent at their jobs and my son has had two key workers who I just think are both the most lovely girls who put in so much effort with my boy and keep him on track with his learning. Also, a big thing for me is how good the communication is, I always know everything I need to. Thank you Little Explorers Day Nursery!

My little girl has been attending Little Explorers for 2 years now. Picking a nursery is one of the hardest things ever as we all want the very best.
From the minute I walked into this nursery for the show around I knew this was the one for us. The warm, friendly, homely atmosphere, as well as the experienced fantastic staff, makes this the perfect nursery. My little girl has gone through so many milestones and nursery has played a massive part in supporting this development. When my little girl first started she went through a very bad stage of separation anxiety I will never be able to thank the staff enough with the way they comforted her through this they would give her hugs comfort her and give her what she needed to feel secure. Including holding her just so she rested and napped as she didn’t want to be put down. More recently the way the nursery has managed and adapted through covid has exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic nursery, I’m really glad we decided to go with Little Explorers, I feel very comfortable leaving my child at the nursery knowing full well that she will be treated exactly how I want her to be. My little one has made a lot of friends since joining the nursery and comes home every week putting more and more sentences together with what she has learned from other kids/staff.
The wide range of food available for kids is great and they take great care with making sure your child gets what preferences you have chosen for them and even log all the food they have eaten throughout the day.
They have a huge range of activities for the kids every week and even have an app where you can view pictures of your child participating in the activities daily.
Would highly recommend to anyone! The staff are very professional and friendly.

My little one is having the time of his life at nursery with Little Explorers. The staff really care and collaborate with parents to provide the best experience possible. Getting online updates each day is invaluable. They’ve handled COVID restrictions really well and made us feel safe. I can’t recommend them enough!

Such a lovely nursery with caring and friendly staff! Our son (1year old at the time) had instantly felt at ease with the staff and the environment of the nursery as soon as we came to view it, which is something he had not shown at any other nursery viewings. This put our mind at ease about leaving our baby for the first time and we have not regretted our choice since! The staff are engaging and attentive and really put effort into supporting each individual child’s development. They even managed to get my son to start eating and finishing his plate at lunchtimes after being a poor eater both at nursery and at home!

Little Explorers is a gem of a nursery with wonderful, inclusive and supportive staff and both my children have absolutely thrived under their care. My 5-year-old daughter started at Little Explorers when she was 17 months old and continued in their care for after-school and holiday club. My 2-year-old boy started when he was 13 months and has absolutely loved every moment of his time with the wonderful staff, he always had the biggest smile each morning at drop-off.

The leadership at Little Explorers is excellent. The manager is brilliant and knows each child very well and cares so much about her staff and she is always striving to improve. The nursery provides a very high standard of care and the nursery is a safe and engaging environment for the children, which is exactly what is needed for these crucial early years.

Both my children have been so happy at Little Explorers and the nursery has shown itself to be the best of the best in terms of the care they provide.

Lovely friendly staff, good quality equipment and a varied range of food and activities. My daughter always walks in and out of the nursery with a smile on her face and comes home talking about what she did that day. I receive updates and photos throughout the day which is great to see.

Wonderful nursery with such loving, kind, and patient staff. We feel truly grateful to be able to leave our child somewhere where we know he is completely safe, happy, and cared for. He always comes home worn out and happy having had a lovely day. All the staff are fantastic and make so much effort for the children. The nursery puts in a lot of work to make sure the kids are learning daily as well as socialising and playing, and this really shows. My son has noticeably grown in confidence and loves going to the nursery; he even picks up his own backpack ready and runs to the door to leave on nursery mornings.

Little Explorers Day Nursery has very caring staff here. I wish I could give more than five stars to them. My daughter has allergy problems but the nursery looks after her very carefully. She also learnt English whilst here, her mother tongue is not English. They offer many opportunities for her to build many life skills. Highly recommended.

I had just relocated to the UK when I registered my son to this nursery. The staff are loving, polite and friendly and I had no worries about leaving my baby with them. My son started in the mini room and now he’s grown and so confident. He was always eager to go to the nursery. We are so happy to have encountered this nursery and the staff as a whole. I absolutely recommend this nursery to all. Me and my baby will miss you all and we’ll definitely come visiting. Thank you for the beautiful time he had with you.

Fabulous one! My son loved every day at Little Explorers. The staff are very friendly, kind and playful. There are various kinds of activities happening in the nursery to keep children engaged. Couldn’t have found a better place for my son.

I have always been very impressed with the care my daughter got from Little Explorers. The facilities and activities on offer were always impressive, the staff caring and knowledgeable, and the nursery was always clean and everything was in good condition. My daughter always enjoyed her time there without reservation and made good friends. She was very sorry to leave and we are both grateful for what a great experience the staff gave her there. I didn’t always feel like the food was great value for money, as this had a supplementary cost, but this may have been down to my child having food allergies and requiring a special diet, and I am aware that the supplement also covers the cost of external education providers and resources. Overall I was extremely happy with Little Explorers and so was my daughter – she has so many good memories and made friends she will remain in touch with long afterwards. Thank you for taking such good care of her.

Both my children love nursery and have a great time there. I have been really impressed with my daughter’s progress as she moves towards school, and how Little Explorers Day Nursery have helped her social skills especially. Her ability to play with and build friendships with other children has come on leaps and bounds in her time here. My son, too, has made so much progress and looks forward to nursery days.

We could not be happier with the provision provided by this nursery. The staff are lovely and genuinely care about the well-being and happiness of our son. His day is full of educational and stimulating activities which we can see benefit him at home as well (baby sign language and playing skills, to name a few). We are impressed with the food offer as well.

Excellent nursery, my elder son attended from the age of two and a half to four and a half years of age now my younger son is there. Staff are great, good communication with parents and the children love it. The activities the children undertake are very good, especially that the children get to play outside daily.

My daughter has been attending Little Explorers Day Nursery since she was 14 months old and is now nearly 5 and about to graduate this summer. She has had the best time at the nursery, never being unhappy to attend or having any problems. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and my daughter has grown a real bond over the years with many of the staff in particular. While she is very ready for school now, she will be very sad to leave, as will I as I know she has been safe and welcomed here.
The nursery has great facilities, including large rooms and two different outdoor areas that are well equipped and brightly decorated. The nursery is reasonably priced compared to some others and organises nice extras, like Mother’s Day tea party, Father’s Day sports, and Grandparent’s gardening morning, which are free of charge.
I would highly recommend Little Explorers! Thank you for all you’ve done to look after my daughter.

My daughter has been attending here since she was 2 years old, she is now approaching 4. The staff are all so friendly and attentive to the children. My daughter absolutely loves going to preschool, often asking me on the weekend if she can go to nursery. I can’t praise this nursery or the staff enough for the hard work and care they give all of the children. They also do events for things like mothers day, fathers day etc which I think is a lovely thing to do.

My daughter has settled so well at the nursery. She has really warmed to the staff who are so affectionate and supportive with her. The menu is very varied and they get lots of opportunities for outdoor play too.

We have been really pleased with Little Explorers Day Nursery. They take the Curiosity Approach which is brilliant for developing the children’s imagination and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. They are so skilled at following what the children are naturally interested in or exploring and introducing learning into that. They have made our son feel so welcome and he absolutely loves going and often talks about things he has done there. Would really recommend the nursery!

Little Explorers is a brilliant nursery. The staff are so welcoming and have a real passion to work with the children.
Both my son and daughter attend the nursery. My son has been there since 2020 and my daughter since 2022.
My son absolutely loves the preschool room and he will miss it and his teachers when he leaves for school in September. Some of the staff have been there throughout his journey and have helped him develop in so many ways.
My daughter started in the baby room and will soon be moving up. She has formed strong bonds with the staff and has also developed so much since attending nursery.
They both love the food. They are constantly outside and making things. And the apps the nursery use to keep you updated are easy to use.
The managers are lovely and so accommodating. My kids walk in without even looking back, they feel so comfortable and secure it’s like a second home.

I really like the curiosity approach that Little Explorers Day Nursery use. It really helps feed the mind and build imagination. My little boy really enjoys playing and learning with all the different objects and activity sessions they have there. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. I have sent both my children here and both have really enjoyed it there.
