Little Delwood Kindergarten

The team have been fantastic at supporting her to settle, their updates at this challenging time is outstanding and they’re consistently welcoming and approachable. There’s a relaxed family sense and this helps me to sense comfortable when it’s consistently hard dropping off your kids and going to work yourself. The daily updates the team provide via the online system help me to sense part of her day and I adore how much they take the kids out on walks and explore the outdoor setting. I would happily suggest the setting to anyone who was to ask and I hope our daughter continues to be as cheerful as she currently is when she attends. Our daughter has been attending Little Delwood since November 2020.

The childcare centre team are consistently so compassionate and attentive and consistently appear cheerful. We know how much our daughter loves attending Little Delwoods from the way her little face lights up when she knows it’s a Little Delwood day. The Famly app is a excellent feature enabling us to see what she has been up to at childcare centre and it’s lovely to see her with her peers and educators. I would definitely suggest Little Delwoods to anyone looking for an outstanding place for their little ones. Our daughter has been attending Little Delwoods for about six months now and we are so cheerful we chose Little Delwoods for her.

The team are exceptional. My son loves each and every person there (kid and team members). There is never a day he doesn’t delight in going. They do so much exploring (offsite), painting, reading, singing etc. Won’t hesitate to send my youngest there when he is old enough. They are consistently updating their Tapestry page so I know what my son has been up to each day too. So pleased I found this little gem of a place. Absolutely adore this kindergarten, never felt more comfortable leaving my kid whilst my husband and I work.

I was keen that she be somewhere where she could get out and explore, and she certainly gets that! Most days there is a walk either around the local area or to the nearby woods. They make lots of use of the paved area out the front and the green at the back of the building too. The team all know her (and all her quirks) – she is very much an individual rather than ‘one of many’. I can consistently tell what she’s been up to as there are lots of lovely photos on the Famly app (and usually paint in her hair!). There is such a lovely sense about the setting and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it. My daughter joined Little Delwood Kindergarten in August 2021 and has loved it right from the first day.

Our kid loves their time there and we will be sad when the day comes that they won’t longer be attending. Remarkable setting with excellent team who really care for the kids and who make sure there is a wide range of interesting and enjoyable things for them to do.

10/10 to them. Option for term time only and holiday club during school holiday is a bonus to give flexibility to parents!

They have been on walks to the nearby woods and exploring outdoors almost every day (weather permitting). If you are looking for a setting which has an outdoor journey but also has spotless/inspiring indoor space, this is perfect. I selected them since my little one was two years old when he still need his nap (I prefer him to properly lie down instead of in a pushchair outside), but I also wanted him to explore the outside. This setting provides the best of both worlds.

Team are the best you can ever imagine. They take time to listen to problems that we encounter with our little one and we work together at home and in kindergarten to address the issue as a team.

Very accommodating and consistently welcoming. My little one loves it, my other half and I adore it! Best in Chandler’s Ford!! All team are welcoming and genuinely adore the kids.

I was looking for a middles ground between forest school and childcare centre. Little Delwood ticks all the checkboxes. They went out every day to playtime and to the nearby woods to explore, but also offer the spotless and stimulating inside setting. As my little one was not toilet trained yet, changing area and sleeping area are both very important in my checklist. I also like that we bring our own lunch so I know exactly what and how much my little one is eating every day. The team are super welcoming and accommodating to our little one’s needs. I have visited more than 10 nurseries and kindergartens to finally settled on Little Delwood. Never a second we regret the decision! We get to see what happens every day in Tapestry photos. They now have a holiday club to cover school holidays which makes it even better and I don’t have to worry about holiday childcare cover. I adore the setting of the kindergarten as it is in a quiet area of Chandler’s Ford.

The setting is lovely, the effort put into making every week enjoyable and tapping into the kid’s curiosity is outstanding.
The educators are inviting, personable, approachable, and clearly exceptional with the kids.
The activities are creative, the use of imagination and exploration when taking walks to the woods and including fairies for example is just lovely.
My family and I will have lasting memories from Little Delwood; both in the lovely keepsakes that come home, and the relationships we’ve built there. Little Delwood has provided my daughter with the best final year preschool journey I would have hoped for her.

I am so grateful that we have been able to find such an outstanding setting with such compassionate and attentive team who are so fond of and bring out the best in him. We have noticed so many positive changes in his development, his speech, how he communicates with us and views the world. He literally skips into Little Delwood for his two days a week and consistently comes home cheerful and eager to tell us about his day. I sense that the team at Little Delwood all have a unique set of skills and bring something very special to the setting. They seem to complement each other well and they create a lovely atmosphere filled with positivity and enjoyable for the kids. The updates we receive via the Famly app are consistently interesting and lovely to read, giving excellent examples of the experiences of the day. I am so cheerful with our son’s pre school journey at Little Delwood and would whole heartedly suggest this setting as an outstanding place for little ones. Our son has been attending Little Delwood Kindergarten since March of this year.

He is consistently so excited to go in the morning and never wants to leave! The team are incredible and very nurturing. My son loves the amount of time that he spends outside, as they are consistently going out on walks and other adventures.
He also does Spanish on Wednesdays which he really enjoys, and it’s excellent that the childcare centre can offer these classes.
They do loads of other activities such as baking, painting, games and many other things to keep the kids interested. The team set up a different theme each week and have activities based around the theme which is excellent!
The team consistently give informative updates at the end of the day, so we are kept fully up to date with what they’ve been doing during the day. I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough. Both myself and my son will be very sad when he has to leave to start school in September! Little Delwood is exceptional and my son absolutely loves his time there.
