Little Chestnuts at Thrift Farm

Thank you to all the team who work there. I get feedback on how her day has been each time I pick her up. The team are so approachable and supportive and nothing is too much. She loves going there and always has a smile when I hand her over. Her physical and social abilities have progressed hugely since going to Little Chestnuts. We were concerned about how she would settle being a lockdown baby and not having a lot of contact with others except immediate family and not being able to settle her in myself, but am content to say that all of the team have been incredible with her and she is so settled and content. My daughter has been attending Little Chestnuts Day Nursery since February 2021 when she had just turned 1 year old.

At no point, I felt that my youngster was unsafe or not looked after in the best way possible. To go into more detail, the nursery is extremely complex by employing nursery nurses who look after the little ones in different ways. Thank you, ladies! They make a fantastic team at Little Chestnuts, always super attentive, extremely cautious, extremely polite, and proactive. Absolutely remarkable team, I absolutely adore the fact that the nursery nurses are doing a fantastic job and working extremely hard to keep the kids content, secure, spotless, teaching them, complying with procedures, following rules etc. No issue is too big for them. This way, they make sure the little ones are not missing out on anything.

The team are incredible and made us feel so welcome as a family. Our daughter joins the baby room later this year. On the settling in sessions, we used the early years foundation stage standards to highlight where our son was and the nursery use this to shape his own personal development journey to nurture his growth. When we looked around we adored the outdoor and indoor provisions and the opportunity to visit the farm on a regular basis. They take the time to get to know your youngster and create well thought out provision areas to capture the kids’s attention and develop their imagination. My son joined the toddler room and we adored how they helped foster his independence and develop his confidence. We are so pleased that we chose Little Chestnuts at Thrift Farm, I know our kids will thrive there and I highly highly recommend them. My son has recently joined this nursery and he absolutely loves it. The kids go to the farm whatever the weather and it is a joy to see them all so excited from their farm trip.

I absolutely adore sending my daughter to Little Chestnuts day nursery, she always has the best time and has progressed in so many ways. All the members of team, not only the ones who have looked after my daughter, have been incredible, so approachable and nurturing towards all the kids.

She has learnt so much in her time at nursery and I cannot wait to see how much more she will develop as she moves up into the toddler room. My daughter joined the baby room almost a year ago and absolutely loves it. The farm-based nursery is such a fantastic idea and I am so glad we chose Thrift Farm. I cannot fault this nursery at all. The team are incredible and so nurturing towards the kids. My daughter loves being outside in the garden and visiting the farm. Thank you all so much for all you have done.

I cannot praise this nursery and team anymore. Every member of team are incredible at their job. They truly create a enjoyable and loving setting for all kids. They genuinely caregiving about your kids and any needs they may have. This nursery is incredible all of my kids have attended. I cannot highly recommend them or thank them enough.

Incredible team, overall, I can’t fault this nursery, keep up the excellent work guys. I never worry when I leave my youngster, he walks in content to arrive and the team treat him such as their own youngster. Nursery is spotless, the outdoor space is fabulous and overall the grounds are incredible. My youngster has been with the nursery since he was 9 months old and the team have been incredible since day 1.

Every day was different and they always came home‑like with piles of paintings, drawings and cooking. They can’t wait to return. My two kids had such a fantastic time at Camp MK over the Christmas holidays. Thank you for making their time so enjoyable.

I could comfortably call up to check how my daughter was getting on and then would receive an in-depth handover when it was time to pick up. From the extremely start, we were welcomed with loving and open arms and had felt such as my daughter had been attending for years, that’s how comfortable I had been made to feel within such a short period of time. All members of team ensured my daughter had the best time while she was in their caregiving. I was quite nervous about sending my little one to nursery but I couldn’t have picked a better nursery for her than Little Chestnuts. Thank you Little Chestnuts. It was delightful seeing the evidence of how your youngster is developing as you get an info pack at the end of each focus week. I adored how the team followed your routine that you have at home‑like as much as possible and that every few weeks, your youngster gets a focus week, which was truly useful as that way myself and the team could work together to encourage my daughter to, for example, take her first steps.

I highly highly recommend this nursery. I adore that the kids visit the farm and feed the animals. My youngster struggled to settle due to being a COVID baby, the team were warm‑hearted and inviting and patient. Remarkable nursery with delightful team.
