March 6, 2023 at 12:00 amOur twins have been going to Little Big Steps for over a year. The nursery has moved to a new building in this time and the setting is a new building and spacious. A good set-up in each room for the ages. Also, have a sensory room and garden. Nappies, formula and food are all provided by the nursery. The staff are lovely and friendly and the twins are (mostly) always happy and playing when we come to pick them up.

Communication with parents about the day-to-day of what my children do could be better and more uploads to the learning book app. But overall really pleased my children are here. They love it and are very happy. I would recommend it to other parents.

March 6, 2023 at 12:00 amI am regularly impressed by the care my daughter receives at Little Big Steps Private Day Nursery. Everyone knows her and engages with her. She feels welcome, involved and a part of the big family!
The activities are varied and encourage her development – she is always surprising me with the new skills she has learned at nursery! Her individual interests and personality is catered for and I really feel like the staff know her well. Lots of outdoor time is also a big plus – my daughter and I love the big outdoors so it’s great that she gets out at nursery too. The app is great to see pictures and get updates on activities – and I know my daughter is a big fan of the food! Thank you to everyone there that works so hard to put this together!

March 6, 2023 at 12:00 amEverything about this school is amazing, down to the staff and how caring they are. My son has never ever settled in the schools he’s been to! But this nursery has been a blessing, from day one my child has been happy. I’ll be sad to see him leave here for big school as they have made my son feel so safe and happy, so caring and loving, thank you for being the best for my baby boy. The school is clean, the toys and education are incredible, and I love how healthy the school is.

March 6, 2023 at 12:00 amBoth our children attend Little Big Steps Private Day Nursery & Pre-school, Knowle from an early age. The staff are amazing, professional and communicate well, just overall brilliant.
The facilities are clean and well presented, we would highly recommend anyone considering child care in the area to at least check this place out, our kids absolutely enjoy and have developed so well from attending.

He loves spending time there. The facilities are great and the staff are caring, kind and professional. Would highly recommend.

As a single parent, I have been so grateful for the flexibility the nursery offers for half days and full days. New facilities are set up really well and the team have created a wonderful environment for the children.

The team are kind and professional and takes a real interest in her learning and social development. The rooms are kept clean and there is a real variety of equipment and activities for the children to take part in each day.

March 16, 2023 at 12:00 amLittle Big Steps Private Day Nursery & Pre-school, Knowle is a fantastic nursery and I would highly recommend it. I always have peace of mind when dropping off my son as the staff are friendly, welcoming and the pastoral care is excellent. The team think carefully about the activities and cater not only to the seasonal celebrations and festivals but also to my son’s interests. I love that he gets to experience lots of “messy play” that we wouldn’t do at home! The communication from staff on a daily basis is excellent and they are always very thorough with a breakdown of my child’s day. As well as this, photos and videos are uploaded to the learning book so that we can talk about nursery at home and share his learning experiences. The term-time offer at Little Big Steps also allows us to be flexible with childcare and provides a good balance that some other nurseries do not offer. We are so pleased with how well our son has settled and how much he enjoys his time in nursery!

You can so clearly see the care and attention they put into each child – my daughter loves it and they worked so hard to settle her in and it’s really paid off. She loves going to nursery! The activities always seem to be varied and lots get packed into the day which is great.
Sometimes communication/ emails seem to get a bit lost but at the same time I can completely appreciate the pressures nurseries are under at the moment, and that caring for the children is obviously the top priority!

April 20, 2023 at 12:00 amWe are really pleased with Little Big Steps Nursery and feel happy and confident dropping our daughter off there in the mornings. She took a little while to adjust to nursery life, but the staff have all been great at helping her to feel comfortable. Now nursery is a happy part of her routine and her days seem filled with lots of fun activities.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amWe chose the nursery initially because of the way it felt when we came into the nursery. It was clean, bright, open and we liked the fact that all rooms had easy access to the garden. The staff are welcoming and friendly and my stepson has really settled into his room. We get lots of information about his day and the communication is really good. He eats well and it’s actually helping him, because he is quite fussy at home.

July 25, 2023 at 12:00 amReally happy with Little Big Steps, on the whole, our daughter seems to be really happy which is the most important thing. The staff and facilities are lovely, nice outdoor play area and she seems to enjoy the food. The only criticism would be communication. Would be nice to have more information on how my daughter is getting on and how the staff feel her development is going. We see some photos in the learning book and get some info when we pick her up which is great but would be nice to get more detailed info. Also if any areas of learning are being focused on at any time would be good to know.

The baby room staff are brilliant, really responsive to the little ones, and the toddler room provides great on site activities. On site sensory room and large outdoor space. They also now have a mini bus so looking forward to seeing our kids go on adventures further afield.

July 25, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son enjoys going to nursery at Little Big Steps. The staff are always very good at communicating and were supportive when we had input from Speech and Language therapist. My son especially enjoys the outside space where he can run around and play with other children. There is a good flow between the inside and outside.

The staff inform us every day on collection of what he’s done throughout the day as well as what he’s eaten and drank. The nursery has a good vibe to it and all children seem happy when arriving/leaving.

July 25, 2023 at 12:00 amMy girl started nursery more than a year ago and enjoys going to Little Big Steps. She’s excited to go every morning and very happy when she gets back. They do a lot of activities every day: sensory, role play games, singing, arts and crafts and she built her confidence to speak and interact with other children in all environments. Staff is very friendly and very close to children, treating them with care and empathy.

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The range of activities and resources they provide are top quality- using open ended resources to promote the children’s imagination and creativity whilst playing.
He’s very excited to move to the big room for his last year before starting school next September.

August 25, 2023 at 12:00 amLittle Big Steps is absolutely brilliant place to start, our son has enjoyed every day of going to nursery despite he is not good at English. Our son was welcomed with open arms, by such a nice and professional staff. The team have been great at helping him settle in, it is great to see staff inform us daily on the collection of what our son did and enjoys/is upset with, also receiving information and pictures of what he is doing each day is great. The most our son enjoy is the outdoor area which is brilliant. We can see he has improved a lot in the last year and we highly recommend Little Big Steps to any of our friends and family.
