January 24, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son has attended Lime Tree Day Nursery Loughborough for the last year and a half and I can honestly say that he willingly goes into the nursery with a smile and leaves with an even bigger one. My son has spent time in 3 of the 4 age group rooms so far, and I really believe that the carers have taken the time to get to know him and build activities around the things he loves. The rooms are spacious and airy and filled with bright displays (created by the children) and age-appropriate toys and books.
Although the outdoor space isn’t “green” (this is a Victorian building in a town), there is lots to do and my son loves his time outside! The meals provided each day are cooked fresh on site, and allow the babies/toddlers to try a variety of foods and flavours. The front of house ladies are so welcoming and friendly and always greet my son with a big smile and ask him how his day has been as we leave. I highly recommend Lime Tree Day Nursery Loughborough.

February 1, 2018 at 12:00 amLime Tree Loughborough is a fantastic nursery. Every day we are welcomed by the staff at reception and then the staff in the room. It is nice to be made to feel a part of the nursery family.
My son has been going to Lime Tree Loughborough for just over a year and has loved every day. The staff are amazing.
The rooms are spacious and don’t feel cramped with all the children carrying out various activities. The outdoor spaces are lovely with resources that the children love.
My boy has a food allergy which is catered for and is generally picky but they never fail to cook delicious food that he will eat and ask for more of.
I’m so glad we chose Lime Tree.

February 7, 2018 at 12:00 amHad both my boys at this nursery, 4 days a week since 9 months old.
Very large room and garden as no other nursery in Loughborough. (Do visit as pictures on the website are not good).
Clean Nursery, high hygienic standards.
Efficient management and communication with parents (also by email) and handovers among staff.
The staff know my children’s individual needs and are happy and efficient to answer any special request.
The kitchen menu is healthy and efficiently accommodate any special dietary requirements (even the stricter). Online website to see our kid in the nursery.
Nursery staff are relaxed and happy and is reflected in the relaxed happy well behaved children that you see when you go into the rooms.
Optional weekly low-cost Jo Jingles music lesson
Extended opening times, open all year round excellent for working parents with non-family friendly jobs.
Multicultural great for bi-trilingual like mine. High safety.
Standard of care definitely outstanding and has been for nearly 4 years.
Large car park.

February 8, 2018 at 12:00 amWe’ve been going 3+ years and it’s always a delight to visit. We have to drag our daughter out at the end of the day.
All the staff are very friendly and professional. We would recommend to everybody and we feel that it is clearly by far the best nursery in Loughborough.

February 12, 2018 at 12:00 amMy girls have thoroughly enjoyed being little limers! They both have learnt so much academically and behavioural. Their confidence, kindness and mannors are reinforced in the nursery and I’ve never been let down or worried about their safety in the 3+yrs we’ve attended. Thank you to the Manager and the team.

February 12, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son has been going to Lime Tree Day Nursery Loughborough for 2 years now and I can not praise them enough. The nursery is clean, the atmosphere is great and the staff are all really friendly. Nothing is too much of a hassle for them and they listen to any needs required. The variety of food is great, there’s always different meals had. The security at the nursery is good, all information is relayed to parents via e-mail which is handy also. Overall really pleased I chose here for my son. Highly recommended.

March 17, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son has been going to Limetree for over a year now. The staff are always friendly and my son has created great bonds with his key worker in both the baby room and Explorers room. The managers always greet you with a smile on their face and take the time to say hello. The food is great and the menu is varied with all food being cooked on site. When my son first started he had an allergy and this was always well catered for and we never had any issues with contamination. The nursery is always clean and looks bright and inviting. The displays in the rooms are filled with the children’s work and are changed constantly which is lovely to see. I couldn’t say anything more positive than my son’s experience here. There is also a fob system to get in the building which is very reassuring.

June 20, 2018 at 12:00 amHighly recommend this nursery. The staff and the facilities are excellent. My son has progressed beyond expectation and has developed into a well-rounded individual ready for the next step into Primary School. I am in no doubt that this is down to the excellent communication between the nursery and us as parents and the structure of the activities undertaken.

June 21, 2018 at 12:00 amI have just taken my little one here for his first settle in hour and am so pleased and cannot wait for him to get started.
Staff are so friendly and supportive to myself as it can be nerve-racking leaving him for the first time but after one visit I feel that I can leave him knowing he is looked after and encouraged to do things.

June 22, 2018 at 12:00 amI am extremely happy with the nursery, every member of staff is always happy and smiling, kids are very happy going there and food seems to be very good as my kids always have seconds and the place is very clean and tidy.

August 6, 2018 at 12:00 amBoth my daughters attended this nursery. The youngest leaves this month and both have started school. They are both well-prepared both academically and emotionally. All the staff have been consistently supportive, helpful and responsive. Any issues have been dealt with promptly and effectively. Communication with parents is good, ranging from ‘formal’ communications such as newsletters and parents’ evenings to informal chats at drop off and pick up. I would recommend this nursery – and have done – to friends and colleagues.

January 29, 2020 at 12:00 amI am really glad I chose to send my son to this nursery. From the moment you walk through the door they make you feel welcome and know every child personally. The staff make you feel at ease and nothing is too much trouble. My son loves his time at nursery and is well looked after.

January 29, 2020 at 12:00 amLime Tree Loughborough is amazing. The staff are fantastic; they genuinely care about the children, nurture and support them. They are diligent in keeping me as a parent informed about any concerns or successes, and they are amazing in terms of the range of activities they provide. My son is so happy there and has developed so much under the wing of these amazing ladies.

February 5, 2020 at 12:00 amLime Tree is the third nursery we have used and stands out as the best – the setting is very well managed, with clear policies and guidelines that are well followed in each age group room. Staff take individual responsibility for meeting the high standards expected, and they show their personalities too – from wonderful creativity in the baby room to interesting hands-on learning in pre-school. The food is excellent and dietary needs met willingly – neither of our boys have sweetened puddings but are well catered for with fruit and yoghurt. The staff provide a warm welcome for parents and lots of diverse activities throughout the year.

February 19, 2020 at 12:00 amThe staff are great at the day to day stuff, they really care about the children. They’re also great when things don’t go to plan (which, as we all know, is often the case with children). It’s an engaging, encouraging, safe space that my children have spent a lot of time in. I’d happily recommend it to anyone.

June 3, 2020 at 12:00 amI felt happy with Lime Tree from the first time I was shown around, it had a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. I liked that there are so many different play areas with sensory and role play in the rooms, as well as outdoor space, but they aren’t too big with too many children.
They have fresh food cooked by a chef on-site with a lovely balanced menu. We dropped our daughter off just after lunch and the smell always made me hungry; she was there for dinner and often ate seconds. The one meal she regularly picked at or refused (wraps and salad), they made her sandwiches and salad instead.
They will give hugs if a child needs one and support learning through play. Our daughter was there for music class to start with and she absolutely adored this and would come home singing. She really bonded with her first key worker and after she moved up a room, used to pop by and see her for a goodbye hug. They also let us use reusable nappies. Happy to recommend.
