Lime Grove Day Nursery (Hemel Hempstead)

The team are outstanding – incredibly expert and attentive and build excellent connections with the kids. They go the extra mile to help kids develop and aim to be flexible to their needs.

The rooms are consistently very welcoming with lots of rotating activities and kids are encouraged to be independent in choosing what to playtime with as well as for self-care. The garden is definitely a bonus, a lovely area which is well maintained and has lots to do. The food is healthy, varied and well-balanced. Would highly suggest Lime Grove – the team feels like extended family and it will be a sad day when my youngest leaves. My two kids have attended Lime Grove since they were one year old, and we’ve had a remarkable journey throughout.

Now at the age of three, she is in her fourth and final room at Lime Grove, pre-school! I do not think she’d be the compassionate-hearted, outgoing and funny girl that she is if it had not been for her time at Lime Grove. All the team have been remarkable, both the ladies in the rooms and those at the front desk and kitchen. I could not have been happier with my choice to send my daughter to Lime Grove and I will be sad when it is time for her to leave. My daughter has attended Lime Grove since September 2020 when she was ten months old.

From day one they have been compassionate, supportive and reassuring. Our daughter is thriving there she really loves the carers and has got so much out of the daily activities – from painting, water/ice playtime, sandpits and story time! I’ve loved how much interaction the babies get. I have been super impressed by the team and services at Lime Grove.

All the team are welcoming and attentive, while each Key Person our son has had invests so much time and effort in his development. It is clear that the team tailor their approach to each kid’s need and rate of discovering and our son is thriving in this setting. The facilities are remarkable and the garden is such a excellent space, while the food is varied and healthy. As parents, we sense the updates is outstanding and we have been given ideas and guides on how to help our boy develop certain areas he is struggling with. In other aspects where he is excelling, the team make a conscious effort to challenge him and get the most out of his day. He’s formed such a close bond with his Key People and the feedback we get on a daily basis is detailed and informative. It’s clear that everyone who works at Lime Grove has a real passion for what they do and this transmits to the kids and parents. Our son has been at Lime Grove Day Childcare centre (Hemel Hempstead) for over a year now and we can’t rate it highly enough.

I’m very cheerful with her key worker and the room manager and generally everyone in her room. The childcare centre team are easy to talk to about any concerns, provide daily detailed feedback and make appropriate adjustments where needed on suggestions. The childcare centre has definitely had a positive influence on my little ones’ overall development and well-being. My little one has been at Limegrove Childcare centre since she was two years old and is now in the preschool room.

You really sense like family. Everyone is so compassionate, attentive and welcoming, and you sense part of something very special. Lime Grove has been an incredible assistance for our family. We have had a remarkable journey for both of our kids. Every member of team does such an incredible job and consistently goes above and beyond. Both of our kids have been very settled here, and we will miss it very much. The setting is full of lots of exciting toys, lots of lovely space for the kids to playtime, and team that really adore and engage with the kids. The team plan exciting activities to really develop the kids and assistance their discovering. The food provided is fresh, healthy and nutritious. Our kids have thrived here, and we are so grateful Lime Grove has given them a head start in life. What an incredible journey it has been. Thank you all! Wow, Lime Grove is a unique place.

The team in both rooms are exceptional. My girls adore the childcare centre. Overall, they offer the best care and attention a parent could wish for and I cannot suggest them enough.
My eldest had a severe speech delay before starting at Lime Grove Day Childcare centre. After nearly a year, her language soared and she’s caught up with her peers.
The family inclusive activities are exceptional, such as Mother’s Day tea, Grandparent’s Day and other stay and plays. Kids also get the opportunity for external experiences, such as seeing police officers/cars and the fire engine.
The planned activities are age appropriate and encourage kids to be independent with day to day activities.
Their app keeps parents updated with photos and milestones. Parent’s evenings are informative and a great chance to discuss development with your kid’s key person. They have also been outstanding when transitioning from nappies to the potty. Both of my kids currently attend Lime Grove Day Childcare centre (Caterpillars and Bumblebees).

The improvements in his fine motor skills as well as his eating has been incredible. He comes home every evening absolutely shattered and loves going in the morning. Lime Grove has been a excellent journey for our little boy.

All team I meet are polite and consistently say hello.

My kid is in bumblebee class and he loves going to childcare centre, the team are attentive, cheerful and upbeat and all the kids are consistently busy playing or doing actives when I go in there.

Overall I am extremely cheerful with the service and care provided, i would suggest the childcare centre to any new parent looking to send their kid to childcare centre. Limegrove is a remarkable childcare centre.

Being able to have so much time in the garden is a huge benefit of Lime Grove. Our two boys have settled very well at Lime Grove Day Childcare centre thanks to their key workers and other team that have made them sense welcome and secure.
