Leys Nursery & Pre-School

My son has only recently joined Leys but I believe he is doing so well already. The staff, especially his lead, are very attentive and warm. The children are well looked after and have a range of activities and games to play. They get a lot of fresh air with time spent in the garden and a nice structured day with meal times, naps and songs.

My child has been attending the nursery since he was 10 months old and is now 2 and a half. In that, I have been completely happy with the care and education he had received. Currently, I feel he is advanced beyond his years and that is mainly due to the learning he has access to at the nursery. Staff are very friendly and supportive. I have recommended the nursery a few times before and will continue to recommend it in future. I wouldn’t have my son go anywhere else and his little sister will be joining the nursery soon.

My twincesses have been here for two years, I am a single parent and I have very strong separation anxiety. My girls don’t spend time away from me only very short periods with their dad or my elder 24-year-old daughter. I am happy and safe in the knowledge that the girls are being really well cared for and looked after while they are at nursery.

This is an outstanding nursery. Our son started going to Leys Children’s Centre Nursery in Dagenham about 2 years ago and we are extremely happy! Staff is very kind at all times and very well trained to help with children’s development! The environment is very child-friendly with wonderful facilities including outdoors. It’s kept very clean at all times. There are lots of activities for the children to undertake and boost their confidence and encourage their active participation. The served food is fresh and healthy. Our son loves going to nursery!! Definitely recommended!!

Staff are always welcoming, polite, friendly and seem to genuinely care for the children. The children also generally seem at ease with the staff and there is always a calm and relaxed atmosphere felt. The children all seem to get along and I haven’t once seen any kind of worrying conflicts between them. I have two of my sons attending in different classes but they are allowed to see and mingle with one another which brings me much comfort. Moreover, my oldest has been to 3 nurseries prior to this one and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t remain on the waiting list that little bit longer to get him in from day one. He has come on leaps and bounds and both seem very confident in vocalizing their needs and emotions. I will most definitely be applying for a place for my youngest as well when the time is right. Thank you to all the staff for all they do for our children.

My daughter is always eager to go to nursery, even on weekends. She can’t wait to go back on Monday. Overall, it’s a great place and should keep up the good job.

A fantastic environment for children. The nursery is well run with lovely staff. The staff are friendly, caring and supportive, they take time to build a relationship with each child.

I have always found them to be professional, caring and conscientious in their looking after/education of my children from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. My children both love and loved attending and have thrived under their care. My children get lots of love and engaging activities. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Ultimately they are as caring at the end of the day as at the beginning.

The children have plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and again, space is well resourced with age-appropriate equipment. He has had the opportunity to do so many different activities since he joined the nursery to promote and support all areas of his development.

Feedback from the staff is excellent on a daily basis and gives me an insight into what he has been doing.

Finding this nursery for my daughter is a real blessing. Considering that my daughter was born right before lockdown started and that she, therefore, had very limited experiences of other people, let alone groups, the whole process of getting used to attending nursery has gone better than my husband and I had anticipated.
She has bonded beautifully with one team member particularly but appears really relaxed and happy around every team member. When she comes back she is always nicely dressed, clean, smells lovely – she is content. Everyone we have met is compassionate, practical, reassuring and approachable. The whole process was as close to effortless as possible. We were very apprehensive before dropping off our daughter for her shadowing sessions but everything has gone perfectly and we could not be happier. We felt heard, understood and respected, and our daughter’s and family’s needs were taken into genuine consideration. This whole team has earned our trust very quickly.
