La Maternelle Sandbach Day Nursery

The team are very supportive and welcoming and have ensured that our daughter settled in well despite a difficult start because of covid and not really being with anyone other than us. The setting has been expert re covid rules too. It’s spotless and modern and has access to outdoor playtime space. Our daughter’s key worker(s) have a fantastic relationship with her, and it’s lovely to know that she’s cheerful when we are at work. Having sent our first kid to this childcare centre we knew we wanted to send our second kid there too.

He absolutely loves his assistance worker and we sense so comfortable leaving him there every day. He has really developed in speech and motor skills since attending. An outstanding childcare centre. My son is so cheerful at this childcare centre- he gets so much from the activities that the team put on.

Brilliant updates throughout the week never leaving you in any doubt as to what activities and enjoyable your kid is having.

Her Key Person ensures she is cheerful and engaged all day, and we are kept up to date with all goings on.
Every member of team genuinely cares about the kids’s wellbeing and the range of activities keeps the kids stimulated and entertained. La Maternelle have gone above and beyond in providing our daughter with a secure, attentive and enjoyable setting to learn and playtime.

All the team are exceptional with our kids and they have been absolutely key in their development. My kids absolutely adore going! I would highly suggest! We are so pleased that we chose La Maternelle.

We moved back shortly after we came out of lockdown after seeing first hand what an exception childcare centre they really are. Since moving back he’s slotted back as we’ve never been away. The team are incredible and unbelievably supportive to both kids and parents. It’s excellent to see what they are doing with the daily pictures/videos and comments and to be able to talk to them about what they will be doing the next week with the Friday updates. They’ve supported us through potty training and he’s developed some really special friends in the setting. We’ve got one final year at La Maternelle but I know we will all miss them greatly when we have to leave. My son first joined La Maternelle when he was nine months old, when the childcare centre closed we made the hard decision of changing childcare centre when they moved to another location only due to distance.

My son still seems to have a lovely day. The team have been excellent at keeping in touch with photographs throughout the day. He consistently seems cheerful to see his key person or any member of the team. Each morning he is cheerful to attend, and consistently smiles when we talk about childcare centre at home. Management were excellent at keeping us informed about the upcoming changes before the reopening of the childcare centre, seeing a video really helped prepare us and our son for the change. My son really seems to be developing well at La Maternelle with his interests being followed in the activities that are offered. When we were worried about our sons behaviour at home this was dealt with in a expert and understanding manner by the team. Having started my son at the Nantwich setting with the intention of moving him to Sandbach when it reopened the transition has been remarkable.

The team are such an asset to the childcare centre. They are personable, expert, enthusiastic and show such a genuine interest and attentive attitude to both of our kids. We couldn’t ask for any more. We can clearly see the benefits the childcare centre is having on our kid’s development, and know they will be so well prepped for when they eventually start school. Handling of the pandemic has also been remarkable – and to see the team have stayed so motivated and dedicated throughout speaks volumes. We’re so pleased with La Maternelle and the care they provide for our kids.

He has developed so much thanks to the team and the setting. I have no doubt that the childcare centre will have prepared him very well for school in September. I know he will miss everyone a lot when it’s time to leave. My son has been going to La Maternelle since Autumn 2018 and has loved every minute.

Before the pandemic, the setting was closed due to a very unfortunate event and they excelled in supporting families then again during the pandemic.
Our boys have only ever come home cheerful and excited to show or tell us about their day. They make lots of friendships, learn new things every day, journey new things every day and demonstrate development steps directly because of La Maternelle.
They get the what and the how perfectly balanced in that the setting is progressive, engaging and secure whilst being supportive, attentive and enjoyable. La Maternelle really are head and shoulders above other nurseries in the area.
