September 22, 2024 at 10:03 amAll of the women are welcoming and welcoming. He loves going in every day to playtime with his friends and the ladies. It’s so nice to come and get him and even ladies not in his room are saying bye to him. So nice to know he’s in such a loving setting. Speaking of the setting, they have a free flow system where the kids have access to be outside a lot which I adore. I also would like to thank the administration team, you ladies helped me so much with the paperwork and were so patient with me. Overall I honestly don’t think I could have picked a better childcare centre for my son to be in. My son just started here two months ago and I can’t believe how well he has settled.

October 5, 2024 at 3:33 amI truly like the focus they give to transitions from room to room. There is so much care and attention given to it because the team know how difficult change can be for our little ones. The baby room is so cosy and I adore the big conservatory. The older rooms are excellent and the amount of discovering that goes on is impressive. As well as the playing and enjoyable times had by the kids such as dressing up, dancing and games. The team are hardworking and approachable, whenever my older son needs some additional assistance, all of the girls are more than cheerful to help.
The last thing I would like to mention is the excellent outdoor space they have and kids are regularly encouraged to playtime outside and journey different weather types too. If it’s snowing, they get wrapped up and go out and have enjoyable. It’s a excellent childcare centre. There is such a family sense within the childcare centre, I sense like I know most of the team members so well which is important when your trusting them to take care of your kids.

October 24, 2024 at 1:52 amOur son first started at Kirktonholme when he was 8 months old. They did settling in times at that point and consistently make sure we are kept informed as to the activities going on, and our son’s health/happiness/behaviour etc. The kids go on trips and use a range of different activities and spaces around the childcare centre to enhance their discovering journey. One of the draws for us is that the kids are provided with a variety of healthy hot meals and snacks at breakfast time, lunchtime and snack times throughout the day. The place is consistently spotless and the team do a excellent job of creating a enjoyable atmosphere for the kids. Kirktonholme has been fantastic for our family.

The team took their time with my daughter as she was highly shy at the beginning but now she’s truly improved in all areas, speech and skills and has created a excellent bond with both her classmates and key workers. My daughter loves this childcare centre, the team were highly welcoming when we first visited and were highly informative.

November 28, 2024 at 1:34 amTeam have a great understanding of the needs of all their kids and are committed to meeting the individual needs of each kid. They demonstrate a great understanding of anti-discriminatory practice.
In circumstances whereby a kid may have additional assistance needs, the team work in partnership with all agencies involved in supporting the kid. They have a great understanding of GIRFEC wellbeing indicators.
We as carers sense confident in leaving our kid in their care and have seen him grow and develop into a confident, bright and cheerful kid during his time at the childcare centre.
Team are consistently keen to provide feedback and take on board any concerns you may have. Kirktonholme Childcare centre provides a secure and nurturing setting for all kids.

January 25, 2025 at 12:04 pmMy eldest son started when he was 9 months old and he has certainly shown the impact a excellent childcare centre can have on a kid. The range of activities and discovering provided by the fantastic team is incredible and a testament to how my son is today. Each room caters amazingly for the kids and age groups, with all rooms allowing the chance of indoor and outdoor discovering. Not only this but they provide hot healthy meals and snacks. I cannot forget the sports that are provided every Wednesday that my little boy would not miss, definitely one of his favourite times of the week. The team are compassionate, attentive and supportive in not only being there for the kids but also the parents. I could not have chosen a better childcare centre for my son and it is for this reason that my youngest will start in April again at the age of nine months. I can’t wait to watch him grow in the same way with the same incredible assistance and discovering. Thank you Kirktonholme! We have now been using Kirktonholme for four years.

The rooms are constantly updated and improved to enhance the kid’s journey. My daughter’s development improved so so much within this childcare centre. I haven’t a bad word to say about it at all. The team are continually training too which is reassuring as a parent. We adore Kirktonholme.

February 23, 2025 at 1:12 pmI can’t suggest Kirktonholme East Kilbride enough, they are absolutely exceptional with the kids and the different discovering experiences they provide are exceptional, my son has now been attending for 4 months and at first he wouldn’t settle but we stuck with it and now he runs in with a smile and this is down to the exceptional team they have there knowing all the individual kids’s needs.

March 11, 2025 at 9:36 amEvery one of my son’s educators is loving, attentive and so compassionate. They are incredible at what they do and highly attentive to all the kids in the class. My son settled so easily and I strongly believe that’s down to how welcoming and attentive the team are. He consistently talks about his educators at the weekends and generally looks forward to seeing them at the start of the week. The food they give to the kids is exceptional and healthy and are highly accommodating to fussy eaters (my little one).
I would strongly suggest Kirktonholme childcare in East Kilbride and can’t thank them enough for all they have done for our son. I can’t suggest the childcare centre enough.

June 12, 2025 at 1:37 pmThe team are highly welcoming and polite. The kids are able to take part in a wide range of experiences both indoors and outdoors. My daughter especially loves being outdoors and while in Kirktonholme the team make sure and encourage lots of outdoor playtime in all weathers. The team also provide the kids with healthy meals throughout the day and have helped to encourage my daughter to eat her fruit as this is something she is not keen on. Thank you, ladies, for taking such great care of my daughter. My daughter has attended Kirktonholme for 7 months now and she absolutely loves it.
