September 5, 2024 at 11:54 pmOur daughter has settled so quickly and loves it! The activities they do are excellent, the facilities are lovely and the team are expert, welcoming and attentive. The team in the rainbow room have got to know our daughter so quickly and we never worry about her when she is in their care. We adore Kingsmead and are so pleased we got a space here for our kid. We cannot suggest Kingsmead enough.

Consistently have a inviting welcome on drop offs/pick ups from all the welcoming team. My son has consistently been fussy with his food, however, Kingsmead Childcare centre have consistently been very understanding and accommodating for this to make sure he doesn’t go hungry.

September 29, 2024 at 8:12 pmThey have adapted to Covid-19 very well. We adore that our girls are both spending more time outdoors. The food in terms of variety is outstanding and we like that it is all prepared on site. The nativity playtime is unrivalled and it is a shame that it will not take place this year due to Covid-19. The childcare centre was very flexible with us in terms of our girls returning to childcare centre after lockdown and we appreciate that. We are very cheerful with Kingsmead Childcare centre.

Both our kids adore going into childcare centre and my eldest – at the age of six, still talks fondly of his time at Kingsmead. The outdoor area is exceptional, and the kids spend lots of time outside in the fresh air. Finally, it is worth mentioning the Christmas concerts which are stellar, and the team put so much effort into making them special. We will be very sad to leave the childcare centre when my youngest starts school next year.
Thank you, Kingsmead! We have been with Kingsmead for five years now, with both of our kids.

One area to improve – share meal menus a week ahead to help plan family meals at home, especially now we cannot go inside to see the menus on the board. Since re-opening to all kids in June the team have been excellent at settling kids back in and our 2-year-old has been very cheerful.

They do a wide variety of activities encouraging kids to do things independently and with friends.
I can’t suggest the childcare centre enough.
The handling of lockdown and the approach taken when re-opening the childcare centre has been incredibly well thought out. Kingsmead Day Childcare centre has been absolutely exceptional.

Can’t rate cleanliness as haven’t entered the childcare centre since 2020 due to COVID.
Value for money – all UK nurseries are unreasonably expensive but this is a government-level issue, not the fault of any particular childcare centre. Kingsmead Day Childcare centre has been exceptional for my daughter and really helped her to develop and be ready to transition to school.

They have managed covid in a confident manner. My only constructive feedback is they didn’t even seem to be a huge amount of formal discovering. My daughter has recently left Kingsmead to start school, after attending one and a half days a week for three years.

February 20, 2025 at 2:00 amIt really feels like a family who loves and nurtures them. The team are predominately mature with a wealth of journey and the kids are in excellent hands. They have an on-site chef who makes sure the kids have a well-balanced diet. I credit the childcare centre with making our boys great eaters and also with toilet training as they have come on in leaps and bounds with the childcare centre’s help. Our eldest son has just started school and will be finishing childcare centre this week and he will miss everyone very much. Kingsmead have provided an outstanding service to two of my kids, they adore going to childcare centre and all of the team.

At home, she is fussy with her food, but the team manage to encourage her to eat whilst at childcare centre. My kid is cheerful when dropped off and picked up, which puts my mind at ease during the time she is at Kingsmead. My kid loves going to childcare centre, she has settled very well and loves all the team.

March 8, 2025 at 4:51 amShe is quite young and my first baby, so I was a bit anxious about leaving her. I need not have worried, as Kingsmead Day Childcare centre were fantastic from the start. From the extensive first tour of the childcare centre to my daughter’s first taster session, I knew it was the best place for our family.
The team are consistently welcoming and seem to genuinely delight in being with my daughter. We get little photos and written updates about what our baby has been discovering and playing with. The food is also outstanding – all prepared on-site and the cook is consistently cheerful to amend the menu based on parental preference. I want to pass on a big thank you to the Kingsmead team, for looking after my daughter. I started sending my baby to Kingsmead Day Childcare centre a few months ago.

The team are welcoming and expert and seem to take pride in what they do. We’re extremely grateful for the care and adore they give to our daughter. We have been very cheerful with Kingsmead.

The outdoor space is incredible, the team are attentive and approachable and their teaching methods are inspiring and we’re already seeing a difference in him. This was the best decision we made. Whilst our son only joined just recently as parents we have found the journey of him starting extremely positive, knowing he’s settling in a secure and cheerful setting and all his needs are catered for, helping him develop and grow.

My son recently potty trained and it was an incredibly easy journey sending him in on only day 4, thanks to the outstanding assistance of his key person. Thank you! We are delighted to have found this lovely childcare centre which offers a small, attentive and cheerful setting for our son to playtime and learn as he gets ready for school.

He developed lovely relationships with the team and made excellent use of the outstanding space and facilities, spending lots of time outside all year round and taking part in a wide range of activities. He was very well prepared to leave for school even though he was sad to leave. I particularly appreciated the excellent updates from the team and management and the great quality meals that are provided. We loved the effort that was made for the kids to sense a part of the childcare centre community, with sports days and Christmas concerts. Kingsmead is a lovely childcare centre.

They are consistently welcoming and my daughter consistently comes out smiling. I’m really impressed by their updates, response time and overall interaction with parents. Their safeguarding protocols are outstanding which is of high importance to me. My daughter has been attending childcare centre for just over a year now, and in that time we have definitely seen development in her self‑assurance.
