August 17, 2021 at 12:00 amI truly cannot fault any of the staff that have looked after my children during their time at this nursery. The level of care they have received is outstanding, especially with regards to my daughter, who suffers with her chest. The range of activities provided, especially in preschool, are amazing. I truly do not know what I would do without these girls. Thank you so much.

August 17, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter hasn’t been here long, since February. However, she has come along in leaps and bounds. She loves climbing and causing trouble but that is my daughter. Great nursery and amazing staff. One thing to improve on is an app for the kids and parents.

August 17, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son enjoys this nursery a lot and gets on well with everybody. My son has come along in all his milestones. They teach him really well and it’s fun. Very nice and healthy meals which my children have enjoyed. I know that my children are very well looked after.

The staff have been lovely, and we see our child enjoys and looks forward to attending the nursery every morning. This reassures us that he is safe and well looked after. We would appreciate additional feedback on a daily/weekly basis on our child’s progress.

August 23, 2021 at 12:00 amI am extremely happy with Barn Day Nursery. My daughter loves nursery and we have lots to talk about. We can see how much she has grown and developed. Thank you. My only comment is that I would like to see an app in place to share information and learning, as it happens.

She also eats lots of meals here which she wouldn’t at home which is great.

October 29, 2021 at 12:00 amVery lovely staff, my child is always happy to go into nursery and is always happy when he comes home! The only thing is I wish I could see what he does when he is there, haven’t seen a photo or had a piece of work or anything since he started. Other than that amazing!

He struggled to settle in but the staff in his room were so supportive and he’s now loving it. March 16, 2022 at 12:00 amKindred/The Barn have always been a wonderful nursery, my son loves going into nursery and the staff there have really made an effort above and beyond to work with him on his communication and helping him develop. The management team and all staff are always so supportive, not just to the children but the parents too. We are always made to feel like valued members of the nursery “family” and I thank them all for that. There have been some challenging times over the past year or so and they’ve always handled it well and always put the children first.

July 19, 2022 at 12:00 amI booked my 13mnth old daughter some settling-in sessions.
On her first session, we were told to hand her over at the doorway and were assured that we’d receive updates through the app during her stay.
We stayed in the area but received no updates whatsoever.
On her 2nd session 2 days later to my horror a temperate gun was held against her forehead and sanitiser was applied to her hands. At no point had we been informed of any ‘covid’ protocol and nothing was stated in Terms&Conditions. Nor had we been asked for our consent for the application of any chemicals to be applied to her skin.
(I made my interest in a risk assessment for the application of these products very clear).
I contacted the manager with my concerns and informed her that our daughter would no longer be attending.
This is a matter of non-disclosure and I have contacted the manager countless times for the return of our deposit.
Each time I am told that she will chase the accounts team.
No refund yet.
