Kindred Bournemouth Day Nursery and Pre-School

My little one is so happy at Kindred. I love the interaction I get with his key workers via the app so I know what he’s up to and what he’s achieving. The food is amazing and helps him try lots of new things.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since last year and she really loves it. As a mum that has been very nervous to leave their child in a new environment, Kindred Bournemouth Nursery has done nothing but reassure me. The staff are so friendly and really make a effort for you and your child’s individual needs. I would recommend this nursery. My daughter is always saying how she loves her nursery and even on weekends is asking to go. So that must be saying something. Great team.

Such a lovely nursery. The staff are extremely caring and are not only a support to the children but to their parents too. During these strange times, they have been reassuring to parents and still offered a setting that is comfortable, safe and enjoyable for the children. And also offering activities on the app to do outside of nursery which we like to watch and take part in. My daughter is in the baby nest. She loves it and often mentions the leaders’ names and what songs, dances and activities they will do. The team in this room are amazing and I wish they could move up with my daughter when she is ready for a bigger room as both me and my daughter will miss them.

Kindred Bournemouth is a fantastic place. The staff are amazing sharing all their passion to little ones. My daughter has been going there for a year now and asking every morning if she’s going today. The manager couldn’t be more helpful trying to sort out all queries. The food prepared by the chef is amazing and my daughter is eating better there than at home. A lot of activities outdoor in the big garden is a huge advantage. Will recommend to everyone!

I first came to know Kindred Bournemouth when it was known as Buttons Nursery – the staff are amazing, they have so much heart, understanding and a caring mindset. Both my son and daughter have/are attending the setting and it’s very reassuring and wonderful to see my daughter get excited about going to daycare here and I love hearing about her day and all the fun she has had. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management are really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to Kindred Nursey.
There is one member of staff in particular who has been the caregiver for both our children, she is like an angel sent from above. She goes above and beyond her job role, she is such a loving and understanding person and has created such an amazing bond with both our children. When my daughter comes to leave, all the staff are going to be greatly missed.

The staff at Kindred are very friendly. Have got lots of support and understanding from two particular members of staff. They make are that my daughters day is special. I always look forward to the handovers. It is always exciting and informative, makes me feel that I haven’t missed out on any important milestones of my little daughter. She started nursery at six months old, and it was the best choice we made regarding the nursery. Thank you very much.

Our two children have been going to this nursery for nearly 4 years and I honestly could not speak more highly of the site and their staff, especially since the new nursery manager. They have genuine passion for the children and try to put as much adventure and excitement as possible into each day so the children enjoy the time they spend there. Regular events (pre-covid) allow parents to connect with the staff and other parents and also see first-hand the exciting things they do. If you are looking for a nursery you will not be disappointed in choosing this one! Also, the food made for the kids is incredible (better than what I make at home!

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Amazing attentive staff who cannot do enough. My daughter’s development has really come on since joining Kindred and she loves it there. Could not recommend enough! Will be sad when my daughter leaves. Thank you to the staff for everything they do.

All staff have been great with my two sons, currently going to Kindred Bournemouth.
They update us regularly, send pictures and have day out with parents.
We have an app to easily get in contact with all staff and update our child activity. Love it. Thank you!

I have generously rated 3 stars as I find the nursery to be “satisfactory”. There are great benefits to this nursery over others such as being open from 7.30 am until 6 pm which suits my working needs. Others in the local area are only open from 8 am. I do have a few niggles. The app is never updated accurately in terms of what has been eaten. I do rely on this when the nursery is busy at collection time to understand what my child needs when back at home. I very rarely get an update/pictures posted to the app with activities undertaken during the 52-and-a-half hours they are there per week. The turnover of staff is disappointing. The nursery recently lost a very big asset to their team who children and parents adored. Not because they were changing their career, but because they went to another nursery which is concerning. They have gone somewhere else to do the same job. My child seems very happy and has built very strong relationships with other children which is what stops me from considering a move.
