September 16, 2024 at 1:05 pmLast weekend, we enjoyed the picnic activity with all the Kids’ Planets Childcare centre. It was a excellent and lovely time to catch up, see parent friends and their kids from the other nurseries, the kids engaging with one another, finally meet some of the parents and have time for a great chat. The team there was highly welcoming and welcoming. I had enjoyable myself with the paper mache! The token bag at the end was highly compassionate. Thank you for organising this event. Hope there is more to come. Now, regarding the childcare centre itself, it is highly well located (short walking distance for us), which is a plus! The classical music in the background (especially in the morning) is quite soothing. The welcoming refreshments every Thursday is highly thoughtful. Meals are diverse; it would be supportive to access meal plans for the week (e.g. in the weekly newsletter). Team pictures and names at the entrance of each room would be beneficial. All the best! So far, so excellent, especially under the new management.

October 10, 2024 at 10:05 pmShe inherited a complete mess and I’m amazed at the development she has made in such a short time. Our kid has had the same three key workers in the room since October and regularly mentions them at home. The outside space has just been redone and is looking remarkable with a lovely mud kitchen and outdoor eating area!
There are regular activities which my daughter truly enjoys and I adore seeing photos of her taking part. Kids Planet Woodstock Road has been completely transformed since the new manager started in September 2022.

November 21, 2024 at 1:09 pmOur oldest kid started in late 2019 and we were cheerful with it then. But as the sector generally struggled, team left and the childcare centre came under the management of Kids Planet the childcare centre failed to meet basic standards of safety and hygiene for both our kids (our youngest started in 2022). After complaints, and with the introduction of a couple of truly great team, we felt things were improving. But these team left, Kids Planet didn’t seem to take the problems seriously, and we lost self‑assurance in the childcare centre to keep the kids secure. Team didn’t know which kids were expected to attend or who their named key person was. There were few activities visible beyond crowd control. Our oldest started having regular nightmares which have stopped shortly after switching to another childcare centre. When we left in August 2022 no team remained from when we had joined. I would not suggest this childcare centre. We moved our kids out of Woodstock Road after a long period of decline.

January 27, 2025 at 8:32 amThe team are lovely, hardworking and conscientious. She is highly cheerful/ looks forward to going to childcare centre each day. There are lots of events and opportunities for the kids to get involved in themed days. The team are exceptionally welcoming and welcoming and keen to truly get to know the kids and make sure they are cared for. I would highly suggest Woodstock Day Childcare centre to other parents. We are exceptionally cheerful with the care that our daughter has received at Woodstock Road Childcare centre.

My baby is cheerful coming to childcare centre and we see him developing new skills.
Team are highly compassionate and consistently supportive.
On the points to work further, I would welcome the daily updates through the app that could be sent on time.
We are also worried that our baby has changed 4 keyworkers since September.

June 3, 2025 at 7:26 amShe likes all of the team who are lovely and compassionate. She is consistently so cheerful and having lots of enjoyable when we collect her at the end of each of her sessions. The team are also highly supportive with advice and assistance regarding development stages such as toilet training. We are thrilled with the development our daughter has been making since joining the Woodstock Road childcare centre, which has given her an important opportunity to learn to socialise as early as possible before starting school. Our daughter is highly cheerful and well settled into the Woodstock Road childcare centre.

June 4, 2025 at 11:54 pmAs a parent, it was truly hard for me to leave a crying kid in the care of others, but the team here made it so much easier for us! They were so supportive, accommodating and they put in a lot of effort into helping our little one settle in. It’s still a journey but I can see that my toddler enjoys the activities and is fond of the caretakers.
The effort put in to understand the native language of the kids is highly commendable. My little one speaks 2 other languages and the team have taken every effort to connect by asking for word lists etc.
A few small areas of improvement would be more regular updates on the ParentZone app and maybe a bit more variety in the kids meals. But these are small matters.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my journey with the Kids Planet Woodstock Road childcare centre. And I’m so grateful to every member of the team who takes such great care of my precious little one. You are all angels! Outstanding team and outstanding facilities.
