Kids Planet Waverton House

I would highly recommend Waverton House, my little boy has been attending the nursery for 12 months and we have always felt he is well looked after. The nursery keeps in contact always and the staff are amazing and he has learnt so much he loves it.

We chose Waverton House for our little girl after a family member recommended it to us as we wanted somewhere that felt like a home away from home. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there so much and so it was the obvious choice for our little boy when I returned to work after maternity leave. He is now in his second year with them and looks forward to going every day. He has made so many friends and the care he receives from the staff is second to none. As a parent, having the reassurance that your child is in safe hands is invaluable. During the last 12 months and all the difficulties faced, the staff have gone out of their way to keep things as normal as they can for the children, whilst at the same time ensuring guidelines were kept. I can say Harry has come on leaps and bounds in the last 12 months despite the challenges faced by everyone.

My three children attend Waverton House and love it there. We chose this nursery because it offers so much to both children and parents. As a parent I needed highly qualified staff to care for my 5 month old baby, people who understood babies and the particular requirements and preferences of my child. I also wanted somewhere that my 2 year old would feel safe and happy and where my three, now four year old would be prepared well for school. It has delivered on all fronts. When you drop off your children, you always feel that the staff genuinely care for your children. They communicate with you throughout the day and update the parent app with photos of what the kids have been up to which is wonderful. You know you have a good nursery when your children run in through the door, excited to be there.

My daughter has attended Waverton House for two years and is getting ready to start school in September. She loves nursery and has made lots of friends there. The atmosphere at the nursery is very warm and welcoming and the staff have been absolutely brilliant. They have always taken any concerns we had very seriously and are professional and reliable. Despite the COVID restrictions this year, they made graduation very special for the preschool class. The rooms and grounds are lovely and the children spend time running around outside every day, no matter what the weather’s like. There’s also a forest school area in the garden, where the children learn about nature and do crafts. I’m really sad that my daughter’s time at Waverton House is coming to an end, but thanks to the staff she is more than ready for ‘big’ school!

I love Waverton. From the staff to the resources, room sizes and ratio. They provide outstanding care which is second to none. My little girl started at 10 months and they have been there for us both throughout, nothing is ever too much to ask and I have never felt more comfortable leaving my little one there. It’s her favourite place to go and each time she moves room, I think it can’t get any better and it does! We moved further away from the area, travelling to drop my little one off but there was no way I was moving her nurseries. Communication is spot on, the education is brilliant and the environment is always spotless! Management is thorough and involved which is lovely to see that they know each child that attends!

Can’t recommend Waverton enough, my son started there 5 months ago and his development since he joined has been amazing. He gets excited to go in each morning with a big smile on his face which is reciprocated by all the staff. The staff who work there genuinely care about the kids, they do an amazing job. The facilities are fantastic with a lot of focus on outdoor activities which my little one loves, many different activities and each day is varied. My little boy is well looked after so I can’t ask for more.

My daughter attends this nursery, three times per week. She absolutely loves every minute there. The staff in her room make her feel welcome and comfortable, this is a godsend when you’re leaving your child in their care on a daily basis.

Her progression is astounding, the usual stereotype of a nursery need not apply to Waverton as the children and my daughter in particular, learns something new on a day-to-day basis.

All over the building from reception to each room, all staff are helpful and supportive in all aspects. Even the kitchen staff members have a good relationship with the children, my daughter herself is aware of who works where and is happy to tell me who’s who. This again is another factor of comfort for parents knowing that staff throughout are helping the children in any way they can.

He has loved the nursery and looks forward to going. The girls make him feel safe and his days are busy! All members of the room take good care of him and I look forward to seeing his picture updates. It is obvious the pride they take in their role and the bond they have with the children. He has developed well since coming here and I am certain my choice was the right one for him.

Couldn’t recommend the nursery highly enough. Our daughter settled in pretty much immediately and as a first-time mum who panicked about everything the staff put my mind at ease right away (and were patient with me when I called 3 times a day!) Our daughter has a speech delay and the team has gone above and beyond to source additional support for her and has been a godsend in terms of her development. My daughter loves the food and never comes home hungry!
The staff are absolutely fantastic and they’re an absolute credit to the childcare profession. Would give it 10 stars if I could.
