I was feeling anxious about leaving him with him being a ‘lockdown baby’, but immediately I felt at ease. I can’t speak highly enough of all the team at Shepherd Lodge, especially the team in the baby room where my son spends his time. He has completely taken to them and it’s clear how much they care for him and all of the other babies. They’ve taken the time to learn what he likes and doesn’t and have got to know his personality in such a short time. I sense so cheerful and at ease every time I drop him off. They also take the time to tell me about his day when I pick him up, and I adore receiving updates about him on the app. We couldn’t have chosen a better childcare centre! Our son started childcare centre at the end of January as I was due to return to work.

The childcare centre provides a highly high standard of care and educational need. Each and every member of team is a credit to the childcare centre. It has been a highly difficult time during Covid times for kids, parents/carers, and team to deal with on a daily basis and the team of team have managed the situation so professionally, but still providing the high-quality care to the kids and their needs. The team are fantastic, they consistently come across keen and with a smile, it’s a real positive setting with a lovely little buzz. My kid is currently in the toddler room and the team know my kid well. I adore all the activities they do with him and all the things he has made he brings home. The place is highly spotless and there is a great selection of toys and activities, and home-cooked food is provided. The team are well‑informed, compassionate, welcoming, and consistently cheerful to help you and my boy loves it here. Well done to all the team and thank you! What a fantastic childcare centre setting Shepherd Lodge provides.

My little boy has settled so well into preschool. They have many activities and are consistently interacting and getting involved in sports and other things. His discovering has come in so well in the short time he’s been there and he comes home talking about phonic sounds and counting. The food choice is nutritious and also appetising to the kids. We look forward to the next months with them before he starts school. What a lovely childcare centre, so welcoming and welcoming.

I was nervous about putting her into childcare centre after covid but she settled in straight away and I have seen her self‑assurance grow since starting. The team are outstanding and I consistently sense like she is in the best hands. I would highly suggest Shepherd Lodge to others and look forward to the upcoming years with her at the childcare centre. My daughter has been attending Shepherd Lodge childcare centre for a year now, and it is such a lovely homely setting.

The team go above and beyond what’s required of them. There have been a few occasions where I’ve needed their assistance with things like potty training and encouraging my daughter to bathe and brush her hair. Then there have been a couple of occasions where we have needed personal assistance, such as my husband having major surgery and the childcare centre helping our daughter process that Daddy may not be well for a couple of weeks. The team, the setting, the food and the education could not be better. We sense 100% confident that our daughter is secure, secure and supported in their care. Thank you to all of the team – we can’t thank you enough. Shepherd Lodge is a remarkable childcare centre.

She settled in straight away and I consistently felt she was in secure hands. All the team at Shepherd’s Lodge are supportive, compassionate, and welcoming. My kid loves her time at childcare centre, she developed so much in these last few months. They have so much enjoyable and do the best activities with her. My kid has been attending Shepherd’s Lodge since August 2021.

Since starting at Shepherd Lodge she’s absolutely loved going. All the team are so inviting, welcoming and make me sense highly at ease when leaving. The manager is also so welcoming, welcoming, and reassuring. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the team consistently said I could ring whenever I wanted to make sure my little girl was ok! Also, the menu is incredible my little girl loves the food there. My little girl started at Shepherd Lodge when she was 9 months old.

My 5-month-old has just started the cycle again. We have got to know the team highly well over the years and they are so inviting, compassionate, and incredibly attentive towards my kids. My oldest loves to come visit when we drop off the baby. I highly suggest Shepherd Lodge. We firmly believe that our daughter received great quality stimulation and discovering which has set her up for an outstanding start at school. Thank you Shepherd Lodge team. My first daughter went from 5 months until school age at Shepherd Lodge and she loved it.

My youngest is currently in lower-pre school and has attended the childcare centre since he was 7 months old. Team consistently go above and beyond and are so attentive and considerate. My son has multiple food allergies and team have consistently shown a high level of vigilance in this area and the cook has provided alternative meals for him daily. The room leaders consistently ensure high-quality activities are provided daily and discovering which has taken place is evidenced and shared via the parent app. Team also provide detailed feedback of discovering which has taken place at collection times. All team know each kid’s name and consistently greet them with a smile on their faces. The childcare centre has even begun to provide a take-away breakfast system for parents – I do not know any other childcare centre which cares for the kids and families this much! Both of my kids have attended Shepherd Lodge, my eldest was at the childcare centre from baby room all the way through to pre-school and absolutely loved the childcare centre.
