September 2, 2024 at 5:14 pmThe team are excellent at dealing with his emotions and his occasional difficulties early in the morning. The setting is lovely and they’ve recently invested in the look of the site and the outdoor space, which is very important to me. They offer a varied range of activities and trips out, e.g. forest school and walks to the local village. I was impressed with the standard of service during the pandemic which must have been difficult for the team. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think team turnover is high and this can cause problems with updates. I would like to see a more stable management team in place and I would like them to be more visible. As a result of the changing team I sense that updates with parents could be improved. My son is about to finish his time at Kids Planet Lymm and he’s thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

My son has enjoyed his days there and I hope that he will settle in further over the coming weeks and months. I have attended the childcare centre three times with my son for settling in sessions.

September 6, 2024 at 11:35 amShe had a difficult transition when we moved house during lockdown which has been eased with the kindness, care and stability provided by the educators. Both my partner and I work shifts within the NHS, and the management team has consistently been extremely accommodating about swapping or getting extra days, even at short notice they try their utmost to facilitate things. The team goes above and beyond in integrating the kids into the village, and my daughter loves to tell me where they have been on their walk-odiles. My daughter has absolutely flourished since starting at Kids Planet.

September 24, 2024 at 7:51 amHe thoroughly enjoys himself there and does a wide range of activities every day and trips out that are both stimulating and educational. The team are all lovely; very welcoming and supportive and accommodating with swaps/extra days wherever possible. They seem to really care about our little boy and his development. I really like the app and the updates throughout the day as it gives me peace of mind and it’s lovely seeing pictures of his day. The childcare centre has recently been refurbished too and it looks really great. There has been a high turnover of team recently, particularly with management, which is why I’m giving 4 stars, but this seems to be settling with the new management. Our son has been attending Kids Planet Lymm since he was 10 months old.

October 5, 2024 at 2:07 pmHe was a bit unsettled and they just offered him another settling in day. Thank you kids planet. My son has started here and they have reassured me, and even rang me as soon as he settled down after me leaving.

They work hard to arrange different activities daily and have done so many exciting things with the kids that I could never do at home. There are continual improvements put into the childcare centre and facilities available. My eldest is about to move on to primary school and I can’t help but think back when I first took him round as a newborn and my mind was immediately put at ease. Thank you to everyone involved in helping raise my babies x I have a 4 year old and 3 year old who have both been at Kids Planet Lymm since they were 4 months old.

We loved Kids Planet so much that we sought out another Kids Planet in Widnes as we’ve recently moved. Thanks to all the team for helping our little ones grow and keeping them secure, cheerful and showing them the ropes. Communication and flexibility has consistently been fabulous too. Really pleased with our journey of Kids Planet Lymm for both my son and my daughter.

They’ve supported our kids through transitions and developed their self‑assurance in all areas of discovering and development. The team show genuine care and affection. And most importantly my kids adore going into childcare centre. We adore this childcare centre.

November 18, 2024 at 7:30 amThe team have been excellent in helping him to settle, they are consistently welcoming and welcoming when he arrives in the morning and cheerful to give him cuddles if he is upset. Any requests we have made for his care or routine have been followed and they have been excellent giving advice and reassurance when needed. My son has been taken out on walks around the local community and has been involved in lots of themed days and events. The team all through the childcare centre seem cheerful and welcoming and consistently say hello to us as we are picking up and dropping off. My little boy is quite settled now and through the updates we receive through the childcare centre app it seems he enjoys his time there getting involved in a variety of activities. My son started at Kids Planet Lymm 3 months ago, as he was only 14 months and was used to being with his mum all day we were a bit unsure as to how he would adapt to childcare centre life.

I like how I can keep up to date with his day on the parent zone updates too. My kid has only been going to this childcare centre for a month and I am very cheerful with how he is doing.

January 19, 2025 at 12:48 amAs we come to our last month there, for my youngest, I can only praise the ongoing relationships my daughters have formed with team. The stimulating and exciting activities that are created for the kids and also the day trips. I am kept up to date with an app which shows me development assessments, photos and meals they have had during the day. Highly recommended. We have been at Kids Planet, Lymm for 7 years now, both daughters have attended.

February 7, 2025 at 2:47 pmHer development has advanced quickly and in part (a big part) is thanks to Kids Planet Urmston and Lymm. The team are engaging, welcoming and encouraging. My daughter has a vegan diet and the childcare centre has been very accommodating of her requirements, using alternative ingredients to create meals already in the menu for inclusivity.
Kids Planet nurseries have been outstanding and transparent. There is an app to keep parents in the loop with newsletters, reminders, photos of your kid, development reports, meals, sleep and poops! When greeted by a member of the team at pick up time, they are enthusiastic to share details of your kid’s day, including any incidents and will gleefully tell of any funny anecdotes involving your kid.
I delight in speaking with the team and sense comfortable doing so. My daughter has been with Kid’s Planet since she was 8 months old and enjoys going to childcare centre.

Knowing that our son was being looked after in a attentive and loving setting during this time was so reassuring. Thank you to all the team, you are all very much appreciated. My son continues to flourish at Kids Planet In Lymm and this is solely down to the outstanding team looking after him every day.

Before lockdown, on the occasions when my husband and I were able to pick him up, the team were all extremely supportive, welcoming and expert. Since lockdown, as the kid of keyworkers, he has been attending full time and has certainly benefitted in speech and all-round development. Our little grandson absolutely loves attending.

April 21, 2025 at 2:07 pmThe team are so lovely, you sense like you’re walking into a little family. It’s excellent when I come to collect her and see by her little face that she has had a great day. I really like the app, which keeps me updated on what my daughter is doing, what she has eaten, nappy changes etc, so it’s peace of mind that she is doing just fine. I had various nurseries to choose from but Kids Planet Lymm really stood out and I am glad she attends there. Thank you. My little girl has recently moved up to Toddlers, felt like only yesterday when she started in babies a year ago.

April 29, 2025 at 3:53 amI’ve started my review from January as that’s when we found out about some medical issues regarding the twins. Without going into detail the childcare centre have been incredible. All the needs and plans that had to be put in place were implemented straight away, they work with all involved and keep us constantly informed on everything. We can’t drive past without the twins shouting school, school. They go in full of beans and to see your kids looking so cheerful to go into childcare centre each time, as a parent you just know you chose the right childcare centre for your kids to grow. We sense that Kids Planet is outstanding in every area of our personal expectations, it’s now like an extension of our family. I couldn’t ask for a better place for our kids to be. Well done Kids Planet. Our twins have flourished since starting Kids Planet in Lymm.
