September 2, 2024 at 7:25 amThe team are just incredible with the kids, the team that have looked after my daughter personally are incredible it would be impossible to pick just one. The amount of food that my kid receives now including a “high tea” is questionable as now my daughter eats a meal at home on top of the 3 she receives throughout the day.
Due to previous covid restrictions we have not been able to go into childcare centre for a while. Just recently they offered an open day where existing parents could go in and have a look around. This was excellent, not only to see what investment the latest owners have put into childcare centre but also to see where our daughter spends her days in pre-school. This was a highly positive move for me and my partner.
I adore the parent app, it makes all the difference for me as a mother, I think this is important when you leave your kid all day in someone else’s care. My daughter has enjoyed attending Fernhurst Court since she was 6 months old on a full time basis.

September 3, 2024 at 8:31 amFernhurst were exceptionally accommodating and supportive in putting my mind at ease and helping my little one transition into childcare centre life. She loves childcare centre life now; the team know her and consistently keep me up to date with how she’s getting on; every day she’s involved in new activities and has truly come on socially. A big thank you to all the team in the toddler room. I’d suggest this childcare centre to anyone, especially to anyone whose little one struggles to settle around new people. My little one is exceptionally shy and finds it hard to settle around new people.

September 28, 2024 at 9:46 amWe have never had any problems dropping her off and she runs out of childcare centre every night full of stories of what she has been doing all day. All of the team are lovely and truly attentive. I have never worried about leaving my daughter at childcare centre and in my opinion, this is the most important thing. I sense highly well informed and if I ever need to speak to the team there is consistently someone available. My daughter attends Fernhurst Court Childcare centre and she loves it.

The menus are like a 5-star hotel, my son is keen to tell me what he’s tried that day. All the team are fantastic; we’re so glad we chose Fernhurst Court. The manager was so lovely and welcoming and completely put us at ease due to the current pandemic.

October 17, 2024 at 12:59 pmI switched nurseries for him at the beginning of the pandemic and there have never been any issues, he settled in so well which makes me sense at ease. All the team from management, childcare centre nurses to the admin team are highly welcoming and supportive. I also like the variety of meals they provide for the kids. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre! My son absolutely loves coming to Fernhurst Childcare centre and also loves the team in his room (Toddlers), he now calls some of the team as his ‘best friends’.

The team are remarkable and are consistently so welcoming and welcoming. I sense the childcare centre is going from strength to strength. Thank you. Would highly suggest. November 4, 2024 at 9:33 amThe way the team dealt with the Pandemic has been exceptional! The team take extra precautions to make sure they, the venue and our kids are secure. The outdoor facilitates are exceptional and the kids and team get as much outdoor playtime as they can (weather permitting). I am so surprised at the excitement my kid has to go to preschool – she asks to go at weekends! The meals they get are of a variety, you are updated with these and activities via the app. Any minor issues I have expressed concerns have been dealt with quickly and professionally. She loves the team and you can tell the team invest their time in the kids with the way I have seen my kid grow and develop – the way she has progressed is exceptional and I sense she will have a excellent start in primary! Truly excellent childcare centre – would suggest consistently! My little girl has been at Fernhurst Court for over 3 years and loves it.

My son is so cheerful, his speech is impeccable and he is flourishing so well from being here full time. The team are so compassionate and truly driven to create the best setting for the kids and babies, I can’t thank them enough. When there have been incidents, I have been alerted straight away and strategies were implemented straight away. The team updates is truly great and I know my son is kept secure and involved! The childcare centre itself is in such a lovely setting and this allows for a lot of outdoor playtime and natural education that I truly adore for my son to participate in. My son has been in the baby’s room, currently in the toddlers, and he will be attending pre-school. When I am working, the relief I sense that he is in secure, courteous, and in expert hands is second to none. Thank you to all of you for your dedication. I can not suggest this place enough.

February 1, 2025 at 10:08 pmI was exceptionally apprehensive about this but the team have truly accommodated them, made them sense settled and welcome and completely settled their nerves. I can see a huge change in them both since starting at Fernhurst, it is clear that a lot of time and care is invested into them both (one in the baby room and one in pre-school). The team are lovely and welcoming and are consistently cheerful to answer any questions. Although we are still in the midst of a pandemic, I sense confident and comfortable sending my kids to this setting, knowing team are doing all they can to keep them secure. Thank you all for all your hard work. My kids started at Fernhurst in March 2021 after being out of their previous setting for a full 12 months.

Outdoor provision is incredible and the childcare centre utilises this space as much as possible. The manager is highly expert, welcoming, and welcoming and I can see the childcare centre is well run. I have recommended this childcare centre to numerous people now. Both my kids attend Fernhurst Court Childcare centre in Blackburn and have been in the baby’s room/toddler room and pre-school room.

April 12, 2025 at 9:45 pmThe team are so attentive and easy to talk to, they were cheerful to cater for his vegetarian diet and keep me posted of his development. They will ring me straight away if they have any concerns about him, or they want to check something with me. I know he is in secure hands. My little boy loves telling us about all the things he gets up to at childcare centre and looks forward to going. I picked this childcare centre also because of the outstanding outdoor facilities which the team truly make the most of. My son has been coming here since he was 10 months old and he truly loves it.

They are more like a family and he has become such a cheerful clever little boy. I cannot thank them enough and will be highly sad to see him leave, as he now has the self‑assurance and skills he needs to start his school life. I cannot emphasize enough the care which this childcare centre and team have shown thank you so much. I took my son to this childcare centre after he would not settle and was showing aggressive behavior at a previous childcare centre.

May 19, 2025 at 1:02 amHe was welcomed warmly and settled in quickly. When visiting the childcare centre it was beautifully decorated and had so many incredible activities for the kids to get dug into. They have a large outdoor area with a playtime area and slides, my son loves his time playing outside. The childcare centre team are polite and welcoming and will consistently do their best to assist you should you have any queries. My son speaks so nicely of them and has bonded with them well. I couldn’t think of a better childcare centre for my son. I’m hoping my daughter will attend soon when she is old enough. 100% suggest. My 4-year-old son started here a year ago after moving into the area.

May 23, 2025 at 11:39 pmI just sense there is a lack of updates at times with parents, don’t consistently find out about “days”, although recently it’s been better, and have been aware of comic relief, etc.
The app doesn’t consistently have all the details on but in honesty, I’d rather my kids had the time with them than the team writing it up.
Team are consistently cheerful to accommodate any changes needed. It’s been a huge help knowing my girls are cheerful. Both my daughters thoroughly delight in their time at childcare centre.
