September 7, 2024 at 9:17 pmThey previously attended another childcare centre and were upset about going each time. After one visit at Ashbrooke, both kids ran in smiling and my youngest continues to do so every morning (the oldest is now at school) and will ask to go to childcare centre when we ask what he wants to do at weekends. All of the team know my kids well and activities are personalised for individuals. The food provided is highly varied and the way it is served promotes choice-making and independence. Although our youngest has only just turned three he is thriving academically, is truly engaging with phonics, and consistently impresses us with his maths. All of his discovering is done through playtime and not “forced”. The childcare centre is so flexible and are consistently willing to try and help out. The “walking school bus” to St Mary’s school is remarkable and holiday clubs are exceptional and excellent value for money. Overall a remarkable childcare centre. My kids first came to Ashbrooke in 2021 aged 3 and 18 months.

He settled so quickly as the team truly spent time with myself and my partner to learn more about him, what he likes to do, how he is comforted and his little ways! He attends 4 days a week and each day is a joy to drop him off as he runs in smiling as well as when we pick him up and he is in such great spirits after such a lovely day. The team are so welcoming, cheerful, attentive and he adores them! The team offer you a full report of his day which is lovely to see and hear about. The meals are delicious and so varied, each day he has enjoyable doing many activities, the childcare centre has a lovely atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. He especially loves the outdoor enclosed area of the childcare centre – the link and the garden. Ashbrooke is expert, of a high standard and the team are just stellar. Thank you Ashbrooke! Ashbrooke childcare centre is remarkable.

From the moment I visited Ashbrooke Day Childcare centre, I felt highly comfortable and that this was the childcare centre for my daughter to attend.

The only room for improvement, in my opinion, would be the accounts team and the area where coats and bags are stored, we have had problems relating to monthly fees and I sense the kids’s area could be better kept as it obstructs pathways and looks untidy.
The overall sense of the childcare centre is inviting and welcoming, I sense my kid is secure and cared for. All of the team are absolutely exceptional and highly loving and attentive towards our son.

November 10, 2024 at 4:22 amThe team gently encouraged her and allowed her to build up self‑assurance in her own time. Since starting at the childcare centre, my kid is like a different person. She is so confident and outgoing, she absolutely loves her social life at childcare centre. The team at Ashbrooke have also helped tremendously with potty training, among other things. My kid was highly nervous about going to childcare centre at first and found it so difficult to settle being away from me.

The team are highly attentive and recognise easily how best to promote discovering experiences for the kids. Exceptional team and general atmosphere; the holistic approach to childcare centre care was remarkable for my kids.

December 6, 2024 at 2:44 amDue to Covid, it was a worrying time to start my daughter in childcare centre but we could not have felt more supported which truly put my mind at ease. My daughter has been attending for 6 months now and she is consistently cheerful and excited to leave the house for childcare centre. I’m kept up to date with the activities she has taken part in and the photo updates and write-ups on the online discovering journal are lovely to see. I never have any worries when she is there, I know she is in exceptional hands and has made lovely bonds with the girls and have been able to see her develop and become more confident since she has started. The childcare centre has such a lovely, homely sense and such inviting and welcoming team.

The manager has consistently helped with any issues I’ve had or helped to work around all my different work days/times which made it so easy each week knowing I had the care I needed. Incredible childcare centre and excellent wrap-around holiday club.

January 2, 2025 at 9:05 amHe is usually cheerful to go each morning and the team we have met are welcoming. The manager is consistently on hand to answer questions and is an asset to the team team.
We are unsure of how well the childcare centre prepares our son for starting school. He’s never told me about discovering numbers, phonics or how to write his name. Highly little artwork or samples of his attempts at writing are sent home, and anything that is has normally been shoved in his bag without any care. At the end of the day, pick ups can be frustrating with a queue of parents standing for a long time. The information given by team at the end of the day is repetitive and, having stood in the queue listening to what’s been passed on to every other parent, the information isn’t truly personalised. You find out what they’ve eaten, another generic comment and that’s about it. The use of the app is dreadful; it needs to be used more effectively. Our son has attended Ashbrooke Childcare centre for over two years.

They are so flexible with times and days, sometimes I add extra at short notice and it’s no problem. Would definitely suggest! Couldn’t have picked a better childcare centre, my little boy loves it and his development and talking have come on loads since joining.

April 16, 2025 at 9:07 amI had originally put down for my daughter to attend a different childcare centre, however, I attended one of their open mornings and fell in adore! The team are so compassionate and welcoming, and you can tell truly care about empowering the kids at the childcare centre. Activities and areas are designed with the kids’s interests and they use real-life natural resources. I just found the place so calm, cosy and a positive setting. The team truly got to know my kid and managed her transition into childcare centre amazingly – I think it was me who needed more settling in than my daughter! They were so reassuring and understanding throughout the whole process. My daughter is consistently so excited to go to childcare centre, and leaves with a big smile on her face which for me is sign enough that she loves the place. I can’t suggest this childcare centre enough.

He now loves childcare centre and has a huge smile on his face when he sees a member of team come to the door. During this challenging time, the childcare centre have been so supportive and understanding. I can’t thank them enough for understanding our individual situation and still communicating via the online discovering journal. I would highly suggest Ashbrooke childcare centre. I can’t praise the childcare centre enough, when my kid started he was so upset and unsure but after a few sessions, he was settled.
