December 15, 2024 at 3:08 amThey are so flexible with dates when needing extra at short notice if they can accommodate the place. Our daughter has attended since being 7 months old and personally, we couldn’t think of anyone better than the team at Kids 1st Jesmond to look after her, help her grow and help her achieve her milestones. The girls go above and beyond with helping settle the kids into their new setting. We would suggest the childcare centre to all family and friends.

December 16, 2024 at 5:03 amWe chose Kids 1st, with my daughter, because of its facilities. The childcare centre is all on one level and each room has direct access to its own garden. This was our second choice, the childcare centre we wanted was full. Since we have joined there have been a lot of changes and now there is a completely new management team. As a grandparent, it would have been nice to know these changes were going to take place. The childcare centre nurses are inviting and it didn’t take long for my grandson to settle. My grandson joined Kids 1st a few months ago.

December 19, 2024 at 10:52 amSince she started childcare centre, I have been amazed by the care she has received. I need never have worried, Kids 1st in Jesmond is like a little family, every person working in the childcare centre knows my daughter by name and greets her as she goes in each time. Best of all is that my daughter adores it there, I have never worried when I have been away from her, she loves all of the childcare centre nurses who care for her, and sometimes cries when she has to go home! Would suggest this childcare centre to anyone. I was initially highly apprehensive about sending my daughter to childcare centre and she started here when she was 12 months old (now 2 years 5 months).

January 29, 2025 at 2:53 amThey care about both baby and parents, are highly welcoming and welcoming and they have had an incredible ability to settle my 11 month old despite him being highly clingy at home.
Records of important detail are exceptional, such as naps, meals, nappy changes.
The rooms sense fresh with a great range of toys.
Most importantly, the team truly engage with the babies through cuddles, tickles and songs. It’s hard to leave your kid in the care of a childcare centre but the fantastic team are so highly easy to put total trust in, to be the next best thing to attentive for my boy myself. My son has recently started at Kids 1st Jesmond and I am already highly impressed.

March 2, 2025 at 9:36 pmThe girls in the room would keep me updated with calls and pictures. Now my little boy loves coming to childcare centre. The team are so welcoming and welcoming and the management is exceptional and so supportive. I was able to get extra sessions for my son when needed at short notice. There are consistently new activities set up in a highly welcoming setting. My little boys start at the childcare centre and were highly unsettled, however, the team were so supportive and accommodating in making sure he was well cared for and reassured at all times, whilst communicating with me when needed.

We are so fond of the team team whose care, attention, engagement and safeguarding goes above and beyond. The childcare centre itself is bright, welcoming, spotless, secure and enjoyable! We couldn’t suggest Kids 1st Jesmond highly enough and are so grateful for the high standard of assistance, care and early-years discovering our daughter receives there. One of the most crucial decisions as a parent is the choice of a childcare provider when the time comes and we are so glad we chose Kids 1st Jesmond.

More importantly, my little boy is cheerful and thriving. My little boy has attended the childcare centre since he was 5 months old (now 16 months).

May 1, 2025 at 4:42 amChoosing a childcare centre is a hard decision for any parent but we were provided on our visit with all the information and visibility of the excellent care and development they had to offer through an exceptionally dedicated team. For us, and from journey, its people who make the difference and we have not been disappointed. Our son took to childcare centre and has never looked back building a truly fantastic bond to see with his key worker and the rest of the team. The care and assistance which is being delivered is of the highest possible standard. Everyday introducing new activities and journey, we have not missed one minute of this thanks to the robust handovers provided by his key worker and coupled with the visual observations and written reports from them on an online platform. Our son happiness is the real measure of success and I can honestly say I don’t know a more smiley happier little boy. Our son joined in July of 2018 at 6 months old and has been in Starfish 1 for the last 9 months.

May 13, 2025 at 9:55 pmChoosing a childcare centre is difficult, or should I say was difficult until I came across Kids 1st Jesmond. After speaking to the manager, I was convinced this would be the best place for my boys. Nothing else came close.
Lovely building, excellent team and an incredible manager. Truly cheerful with everything and would suggest to all. The cakes in the parent’s room aren’t too bad either!! My twin boys attend Kids 1st in Jesmond and have been there for almost a month now.

We have been so impressed with the childcare centre on a whole but especially cheerful with his childcare centre class and key worker. My son has settled into childcare centre life under the care of their exceptional team. I could not suggest this childcare centre enough. My little boy started childcare centre at Kids 1st Jesmond in November this year.

June 3, 2025 at 5:55 amAlthough I was nervous about leaving her initially my concerns were short-lived as I could see immediately that she was highly cheerful when I dropped her off and picked her up. The team at all levels are inviting, informative and expert. My daughter is genuinely cared for while she is there and it shows as she has bonded truly well with members of team. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My daughter has been attending Kids 1st Jesmond since she was five months old.

June 15, 2025 at 9:36 pmThe team are highly welcoming, attentive and expert; the managers are first class and seem to have an open door policy for parents. We’ve been so impressed by the childcare centre that our youngest will also be attending soon. We can’t praise Kids 1st Jesmond enough.
Our son loves going to childcare centre – the care is outstanding and he’s stimulated throughout the day.
