Kids 1st Gosforth

The team at the childcare centre are consistently highly approachable and genuinely inviting towards the kids and my daughter thinks highly highly of everyone. As a much younger single mother, I have often felt patronised and judged in the past by my daughter’s previous childcare providers but Kids 1st are consistently inviting and welcoming regardless of circumstances. The team should be highly proud of themselves and I sense they have made a excellent contribution to my daughters start in life while I have been working though I hugely miss her I know she is well looked after and thriving. I sense I can ask them about my daughter without feeling as if I am being a nuisance. The manager is remarkable too and consistently highly supportive. We will both thoroughly miss the childcare centre when she leaves in September. I can’t suggest Kids 1st enough, my daughter has attended from age 1 to 4 and I have consistently been hugely impressed with the childcare centre and the way in which it runs – especially remaining open for key worker parents throughout lockdown.

I was truly worried about leaving her for the first time but the team were so great with her and took photos that I could look at on the parent app. The variety of food she gets is excellent! My daughter has only been at Kids 1st a short time but our journey so far has been nothing but great.

Throughout this time the team and management have been outstanding. I am consistently cheerful dropping my daughter off knowing she will have a excellent day and her needs and education will be addressed. The team are attentive and personable and go over and above and this is particularly true during this pandemic. It gives me excellent comfort knowing that she is going somewhere where she is cheerful and can be with her friends. My little girl started Kids 1st at 16 months and has been there for nearly three years.

Kids 1st Gosforth have been outstanding at supporting her transition, she is truly excelling since joining childcare centre. The team are excellent and have also been highly supportive to a first time mummy too. My daughter started childcare centre in January 2021, she was a lockdown baby so had missed out on so much whilst also not being used to new people or other kids.

Both my son and daughter have attended another Kids 1st and then in 2018 transferred to Gosforth. They have absolutely loved their time at Kids 1st Gosforth, the team are completely expert and attentive and make every effort to ensure the kids in their care are cheerful. The childcare centre is a inviting, welcoming setting and I would suggest it without reservation to any parent. The team have been outstanding during a challenging 12 months, our daughter attended childcare centre during the height of lockdown and we consistently felt completely reassured that she was secure and well looked after. We have been exceptionally pleased with Kids 1st Gosforth and could not suggest it highly enough.

She has settled in exceptionally fast and they have made her sense like she’s consistently been there. They truly care about the kids, put in so much effort with them and ensure they are prepared for school. She has developed so well with her numeracy, literacy, knowledge and enjoyment of the world as well as her interpersonal relationships and never at any point have the restrictions made her sense uncomfortable or worried. They have made her sense like she has normality in a time when it has been far from that in the rest of the world and they haven’t had one Covid-19 case throughout the whole childcare centre. The team truly are to be applauded, we couldn’t have asked for more. My little girl joined the childcare centre last August during the pandemic and despite such a difficult time, I can’t fault the childcare centre or the team.

With both of us still being key workers our daughter still attended throughout and the safety precautions in place were excellent and we genuinely felt she was secure attending. All the team are consistently supportive, she had a difficult time when moving up a class because she was using the toilet when others weren’t and they supported her highly well. She consistently comes home cheerful and full of stories with her friends.The facilities are consistently looking spotless and tidy and the outdoor areas they have has lots of activities. Would be cheerful to suggest to anyone. The updates and guidance from the childcare centre during the whole pandemic has been remarkable.

The team were all magnificent with her even when she found it hard to leave us! She is at school now but still speaks fondly of her time there. We have now sent our son to Kids 1st Gosforth as well and would not hesitate to suggest it to other parents in the area. Our daughter first went to Kids 1st Gosforth when she was around eighteen months.

He quickly settled in and he truly enjoys his time there. They have lots of activities such as drawing, playing with sand, singing and dancing to music, shops, kitchen, dinosaurs, circle games, imaginary playtime with toys and so on. He is now three and a half and whenever we go to pick him up he has a big smile on his face because he’s been having so much enjoyable. The team are excellent and look after the kids so well. They consistently put on sun cream and hats when the kids playtime out in the garden during warmer weather. As the kids get older they start to learn more about numbers and letters and get their own book to write and draw in. The food on offer has a great variety and we are kept informed about what he has eaten. Any accidents or nappy changes are consistently handled quickly and without fuss. The parents evenings allow you to keep in touch with your kid’s key worker and see how they are getting on. Our son has been attending Kids 1st Gosforth since he was around one year old.

The team are outstanding and highly attentive, the facilities are incredible and both kids loved going to the childcare centre. Both of my daughters have attended Kids 1st Gosforth and we are completely cheerful with the childcare centre.
