November 19, 2024 at 4:12 amFrom my first interaction with the Parent Relationship Manager, I knew this school was for my kid. The kindness and patience shown from everyone is comforting. My kid entered at 2 and a half years old not knowing a word of English and now (4 months later) can express himself with ease. I am grateful for the assistance given to me and my family since day one and suggest Kido Clerkenwell to any parent who is looking for a compassionate, nurturing, and stimulating childcare centre for their kids. The team at Kido Clerkenwell is incredible.

November 20, 2024 at 7:34 amShe started full-time last year and I was amazed how quickly and smoothly she settled in.
She has a deep and emotional attachment to her key worker who has been incredible. The setting is also incredible, they really do make an effort to create a nurturing, encouraging setting where kids can thrive. My darling daughter loves Kido Clerkenwell childcare centre.

January 12, 2025 at 9:38 pmI immediately loved the light, airy space of the pre-schooler room and the outdoor space during our first tour of the childcare centre but it has been the care and attention of the team ever since that has impressed me most. Although cheerful-go-lucky at home, our son is quite shy but he has really come out of his shell at Kido and actually looks forward to going to childcare centre every day which is a huge relief as a parent. From the vast array of thoughtful, creative activities that are planned in every day to the enthusiasm and kindness demonstrated by the team the best testament is that we will soon be sending our 8 month old here too. This is the fourth childcare centre that our just-turned-four-year-old has attended due to house moves etc but it is the first one that he seems truly settled.

January 16, 2025 at 8:29 pmThe team are consistently welcoming, supportive and attentive. We receive regular updates throughout the day via the app on the activities the kids have done that day, and it is consistently lovely to see pictures of our son having enjoyable whilst we are at work, and see what he has eaten. Monthly milestones are also shared in a report and it shows how much our son has learnt over the months he has been at Kido Clerkenwell. Our son loves Kido Clerkenwell as much as we do.

January 17, 2025 at 9:23 pmNearly a year has gone by and she has progressed amazingly, she reaches all her milestones, loves all the team in her room, loves coming into childcare centre and most importantly, her social skills are excellent for a 16-month-old!
It has been excellent seeing how well she is doing and will continue on to preschool at Kido Clerkenwell. Definitely suggest! Kido is an outstanding childcare centre, my daughter has been attending their baby room since she was 5 and a half months old!

January 20, 2025 at 9:34 pmWe are so cheerful with Kido: they communicate well with parents, have compassionate and nurturing educators, outstanding room leaders and many discovering opportunities. I sense my daughter has developed leaps and bounds at Kido, and it has set her up for a positive approach to education and discovering at school. Highly suggest! Our daughter has been at Kido since she was 11 months old, moving through from Discoverers to Pathfinders (Pre-school room).

February 1, 2025 at 11:14 pmWe are very pleased with the team, curriculums and facilities. It’s not only helping our son to grow and learn a lot of new things, it’s also reassuring for us to leave him in Kido while we are working. The team are really communicative and supportive. They give us daily reports about his activities in person and there is an app that tracks my son’s activities and developmental milestones. Our son has been attending for over a year and he really loves to come to Kido.

February 28, 2025 at 1:28 amMy almost-two-year-old looks forward to going, making me much calmer about leaving him while I work. The team are all welcoming and loving. They track my son’s activities and developmental milestones in pictures and videos via the childcare centre app. We are so pleased to have found Kido! We are very cheerful with Kido childcare centre for the past year since he joined.

March 4, 2025 at 11:13 amWe have been so lucky to find this place for our baby daughter. As first-time parents, we were scared about leaving our daughter when she was 10 months old but we cannot suggest enough this place for the incredible teacher and the entire team. Updates works perfectly which makes everything smoother and everybody is really attentive about babies and toddlers. I never picked up or left my daughter without seeing a smile on her face and I can see that also the other kids are consistently cheerful. This is invaluable and it shows how the ambience is genuinely healthy and the best place for a baby and toddler to grow up.
Thank you to the incredible Discoverers room team! Kido Clerkenwell is an incredible childcare centre.

March 17, 2025 at 8:13 pmThe team are all very welcoming and well‑informed and maintain the kids’s best interests at the forefront of all their programmes and decisions. They’re also quick to react and find solutions when items are raised by the parents. You can tell they spend a lot of effort developing their annual programme and provide decent size development reports for the development of your kid. My little one was never bored at this childcare centre and was consistently eager to tell me all he had accomplished during the day. In all this setting exceeded my expectations and my little one formed incredible attachments with many of the team, most importantly his key person. The graduation playtime at the end of their time at childcare centre was a joy to watch. I’m so cheerful to have found such an incredible childcare centre for my little one.

March 20, 2025 at 11:00 amWhile all of these matter, the real value has been in the care and kindness of the team. Our daughter started childcare centre as a toddler and the amount of time and care the team put into helping her settle was impressive. The team really listened to us and worked with us to make our daughter’s transition to childcare centre a smooth one. For example, the team helped us put together a photo book ahead of starting childcare centre and provided regular updates via the app so we could talk about childcare centre more easily at home. Our daughter’s keyworker is outstanding and shows enormous sensitivity and kindness, our daughter adores her. All of the early effort has paid off and our daughter loves going to childcare centre each day. Ultimately, what really matters in any childcare centre is that the kids are seen and treated warmly while away from home. Kido Clerkenwell has this in spades. We were initially attracted to Kido Clerkenwell because of its airy playtime rooms, generous outdoor space and its discovering curriculum.

April 10, 2025 at 4:23 pmWe have been very impressed by the quality and creativity of teaching and discovering and the level of care is second to none. The teaching team are incredibly invested in each and every kid and build very great bonds with kids and parents alike. The facilities are very great, particularly for a central London location. Our daughter has been at Kido Clerkenwell for the last two years and we have seen continual and sustained development in that time.

April 15, 2025 at 4:22 pmThe team are fantastic, the facilities and technology are very modern and I adore that they have a large separate baby room with its own outdoor space, which keeps the little ones super secure. We looked at a lot of nurseries in the area for our ten month old daughter and this was by far the best option. The facilities are bright and airy and the amount of outdoor space is really impressive for a central London childcare centre. The application process was also very straightforward, unlike some other popular nurseries in the area I could mention! Now that my daughter has started at the childcare centre we use an app for most of our communications, including lots of photos, which is incredibly reassuring and super convenient for day-to-day admin. The team have been absolutely exceptional and my daughter genuinely loves her key worker. I have so much gratitude for the team’s hard work and so much respect for their relentlessly upbeat attitudes! I’m so cheerful we chose this childcare centre for our daughter!

April 18, 2025 at 11:28 pmThe facilities are excellent, particularly the large garden. The incredible team are very attentive and enthusiastic. They create an ever-changing array of educational and enjoyable activities, on interesting and creative themes, including many activities that are far too messy to do at home! The food is nutritious and sounds tasty. The childcare centre has responded well to the pandemic. They ask for feedback and look to continually improve. It’s excellent to see the enjoyable that the kids are having via photographs on the app and also get other useful updates. We certainly highly suggest the childcare centre. We have been extremely pleased with Kido.

April 28, 2025 at 12:39 amWe have recently made the sad decision to move him out of the childcare centre as we have moved too far away for the commute to be practical. We were extremely fortunate in that for the majority of his time at Kido Clerkenwell my son had the same remarkable key worker, as well as two other members of team who were all stellar and obviously really cared for him. My son loved going into childcare centre and was a nightmare coming home, which speaks wonders. They planned lots of outstanding activities which had a excellent focus on discovering. The facilities are outstanding, in particular the back garden, which is huge and really hard to find in central London. The meals were all freshly prepared to a high standard. It’s also been excellent to see a member of team promoted to the childcare centre manager role as her enthusiasm for Kido Clerkenwell and the kids is contagious. Our only feedback would be to try to nurture a bit more of a community between the parents. Our son attended Kido Clerkenwell between April 2019 and March 2021.

May 7, 2025 at 2:11 pmI totally trust the educators with her care and wellbeing, in this regard the childcare centre is truly outstanding. My kid has formed deep attachments to her keyworkers and other educators and the adore and warmth they bestow is fantastic to see and hugely reassuring. They go above and beyond in ensuring wellbeing and clearly care deeply.
The setting is enriching and nuturing and we have had outstanding feedback and information on how our daughter is doing, behaving and settling. The activities are creative and well resourced and a lot of effort goes into helping the kids to participate.
We adore that there is a large amount of outside time in the large garden/playground attached. French, Spanish and Mandarin is incorporated into playtime, music and crafts and other early discovering is of a high standard.
Independence is encouraged and the playtime is kid led.
Meals are healthy with no desserts or juice. Our daughter has been attending for over a year and has thrived in that time.

May 29, 2025 at 2:40 pmWe also have our second son at Kido and he loves the team and enjoys himself and it is lovely to see how he is developing on a regular basis. Kido is a excellent childcare centre, the team are welcoming and go above and beyond to make the kids sense cared for.
I have two sons, one who has just started primary school and spent three and a half years at Kido and can only speak highly of our journey.

June 10, 2025 at 10:08 amShe consistently had loving, attentive and experienced care. It is such a relief to be able to leave your baby at childcare centre worry free. She has the biggest smile when she sees her key holder in the morning. It really is priceless.
She has also grown so much and so quickly through all the activities they do daily.
I couldn’t suggest enough the Kido Childcare centre. Our baby daughter has been lucky to be part of the discoverer’s room since she was 4 months old.

July 5, 2025 at 12:48 amWe were nervous to send him to childcare centre when he was 10 months old, but there’s such a inviting, nurturing atmosphere here that our fears were quickly put to rest. Our son is clearly thriving. His key workers are compassionate, attentive and enthusiastic. We adore how much time he spends outdoors in the babies’ dedicated playtime area, which has everything a toddler could wish for – bikes, balls, soft playtime, picnic blankets, water games etc. His self‑assurance has grown massively and we’re cheerful to see him developing both social and cognitive skills. Our 18-month-old loves his days in the Discoverers room at Kido.

July 6, 2025 at 9:16 amOur son has been enjoying himself so much there and the all of the members of team have been remarkable, especially the childcare centre manager and our son’s key worker. They made a huge effort to make sure he settled in really well, supported him through a fussy eating phase and also helped him take better naps. I noticed his development has accelerated since he’s been at Kido Clerkenwell. We chose Kido Clerkenwell because it is an international childcare centre and we want to make sure our son is exposed to different languages and cultures. It was initially very convenient being so close to my office. Having a busy work schedule, this was practical so I could make sure I was consistently nearby. However, due to Covid-19 the office has closed, so the location is no longer convenient. This is why we will, unfortunately, be moving our son at the end of the month. Had it not been for that, we would not be moving him. We hope that the next childcare centre will be just as great. Kido Clerkenwell is a excellent childcare centre.
