Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Romsey

Excellent nursery with caring, well-organised staff who enjoy their jobs. The nursery is in a lovely position and the children spend a good amount of time outside. The resources available to the children seem very good.
The children seem very happy. My daughter loves going. She has developed her social skills and EYFS skills.

Both my girls have loved being at this nursery. My eldest is now at school but she had a great start being at the nursery in the preschool learning and playing, making friends with the staff and children. My youngest is in the toddler room and really enjoys all the messy play activities and always chats about her morning to me at pick up which as a parent is lovely to hear what she gets up to. All the staff are very approachable, helpful and kind.

Fantastic nursery. Extremely caring staff. They provide a big variety of activities for the children and genuinely care. The staff are fantastic and always put 100% into daily activities for the children. The food is varied and it means that both my children can eat food that they may not necessarily get at home and have a big variety. Highly recommend!

My daughter has a great time at nursery, she is always very excited to go in and see the other children as well as the staff. I feel that the staff make a huge effort to get to know all the children individually. Great communication with parents. All round brilliant nursery that I would recommend to anyone!

My daughter loves going into nursery and has thrived at Romsey, from feeding herself to speech and language, we attribute a lot of her development to the nursery. We chose this nursery above others because of its outdoor space, she loves being out in the garden and the team get them out as much as possible. My daughter has been in all three rooms and has had brilliant key workers, but every member of staff has built a lovely relationship with her and cares about her, which is really reassuring as parents.

When my son joined the Kiddy Caru family I was so excited and pleased for him to go to nursery and be happy and make friends. All the staff at Kiddy Caru are so loving so caring and have been so wonderful to him. He wakes up in the morning and is so excited to go to nursery. Never has he cried once or been upset to go. I just want to say a huge thank you to all at Kiddy Caru Romsey as they have gone above and beyond to create a caring happy and loving environment to be in. Thank you for taking such good care of my son. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great place to go there.

No reliability or consistency. Nursery carer shortages mean short notice cancellations of childcare provision! Good staff leave quickly. No consistency of carers for children. The Garden space is nice but the indoor space is limited and dingy!

There have been improvements in the availability of care since the nursery was able to fill vacancies. We haven’t been turned away for a few months now. We haven’t been introduced to the new staff members and no one wears name badges so it’s difficult to keep track of who is in each room. I also don’t know who my daughter’s key worker is.
Cannot say enough nice things about our key contact – he is attentive and very forthcoming with updates about the events of the day and how my daughter is doing.

My son loves going to nursery and the staff is amazing with him. He has been going there since he was five months old. We have seen a lot of benefits with him going to nursery early. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic nursery! Both of my children have attended here. There are some lovely staff. Like many nurseries nationally, they have intermittently experienced staffing problems, but overall, I think they work really hard to maintain the service.
