Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Romsey

My bugbears are the team turnover and that great team seem to join and then leave quickly. Why is this? Nonetheless, the existing team bend over backwards to adore and welcome my daughter and this trumps everything. Well done Kiddi Caru Romsey long term team, consistently fighting through covid, staffing etc. My daughter loves going here and the team are all very inviting and welcoming.

Staffing turnover was a problem and in the past, little warning when not able to provide a place. Our son has made a lot of friends at childcare centre and enjoys the activities.
His key worker is very involved and keeps us updated with what he has been up to.

We chose this childcare centre above others because of its outdoor space, she loves being out in the garden and the team get them out as much as possible. My daughter has been in all three rooms and has had exceptional key workers, but every member of team has built a lovely relationship with her and cares about her, which is really reassuring as parents. My daughter loves going into childcare centre and has thrived at Romsey, from feeding herself to speech and language, we attribute a lot of her development to the childcare centre.

My eldest is now at school but she had a excellent start being at the childcare centre in the preschool discovering and playing, making friends with the team and kids. My youngest is in the toddler room and really enjoys all the messy playtime activities and consistently chats about her morning to me at pick up which as a parent is lovely to hear what she gets up to. All the team are very approachable, supportive and compassionate. Both my girls have loved being at this childcare centre.

She has thrived under their care and thoroughly enjoys her time there. The team are compassionate and attentive and my daughter has fostered great relationships with all team at the childcare centre. The team provide a range of interesting, engaging and age-relevant activities for the kids to participate in. The updates is outstanding, with regular newsletters home. We are delighted with our daughter’s development at childcare centre.

Updates is less efficient since moving to the new owner. The local management team are excellent. High standards seem to have been maintained across the whole covid saga and this month is no exception.

We haven’t been turned away for a few months now. We haven’t been introduced to the new team members and no one wears name badges so it’s difficult to keep track of who is in each room. I also don’t know who my daughter’s key worker is.
Cannot say enough nice things about our key contact – he is attentive and very forthcoming with updates about the events of the day and how my daughter is doing. There have been improvements in the availability of care since the childcare centre was able to fill vacancies.

Childcare centre carer shortages mean short notice cancellations of childcare provision! Great team leave quickly. No consistency of carers for kids. The Garden space is nice but the indoor space is limited and dingy! No reliability or consistency.

He is genuinely excited to attend every day and is very attached to the team, and he has rapidly developed his motor and speech skills, which to me means they provide a very high level of care and attention to every kid. Nice outdoor space, a well-balanced menu and nicely arranged internal rooms are among the other benefits of this lovely place. My son has been attending the baby room at Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre Romsey for a year now, the team has been so attentive and loving, providing a thriving setting for the kids to grow and develop.
