Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Hitchin

My little one has been attending Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre since September 2021 (under one) and they are really delight in their time there. The team are excellent at settling in the mornings and keeping me updated as and when required.
My kid comes home and talks about their day and the activities they took part in and what they ate. Great variety of food on the menu and excellent that there is so much more to do than at home.
I consistently sense cheerful knowing my little one is cared for so well, leaving them is super hard! Overall, we’ve had a really great journey here. Team are incredible and super lovely.

The childcare centre, as a whole, was extremely welcoming, I felt anxious in the first weeks he was there but the reassurance from the childcare centre was more than I ever expected.
We have exceptional updates throughout the days he attends and consistently a detailed update when he is picked up. If for any reason I have had to ask the team to do something in particular for my kid they do it without any issues. Any questions or queries I have had are answered on the spot without any hesitation and I believe that the team within the childcare centre care for the kids just as much as we do as parents.
All team are super welcoming, compassionate and informative and would highly suggest the childcare centre, your kids will be made to sense completely at home. My son joined Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre in February this year and the team that care for him on the days he is in are outstanding.

She has developed her self‑assurance and her speech is a little better. On her first day of childcare centre, I got her back with a massive bruise on her face and I asked what happened. They apologised for not filing an accident report and this did make me sense uneasy leaving my daughter in their care. I do sense like I am raising a few issues every few weeks about her nappy rash. And I’m not told about how bad it is until I go home and open the nappy myself to see how sore her bum is. I have asked many times how to help the situation. The team are all lovely but I sense the handover is not excellent with updates. There’s an app which I think needs a lot of work but is great to see what she has eaten. I think the outdoor space needs a lot of work compared to nearby childcare centre’s this childcare centre needs a lot of work. As my kid is settled I decided to stay with this childcare centre as she does delight in playing and the kids. And again all the team are so lovely. My daughter does delight in being in the childcare centre.

We look forward to even excellent relations as journey with them on this mammoth task of taking care of our kids when we are engaged elsewhere. We started with the childcare centre in January 2023 and have had excellent service, high levels of care and professionalism from the team at Kiddi Caru.

The team are excellent at meeting his individual needs and providing information on his days and activities. He has a consistent key worker and they do a wide variety of activities. He has settled incredibly well thanks to the lovely relationships he’s formed with the team and he leaves with the biggest smile on his face each day!
The management team have worked so hard over the last year and a bit on standards and resolving issues flagged in their November 2021 Ofsted and are now rated ‘Great’. The manager who returned from maternity leave last year has led this wonderfully and we have no concerns.
My only wish would be to see the outside area get a bit of a refresh if possible. It’s adequate, but has lots of potential!
I’d suggest Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre Hitchin highly to any parent looking to send their kid to childcare centre. Our kid has attended Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre Hitchin for almost a year since 1-year-old and has grown and developed so wonderfully under their care.

She has settled in well and her self‑assurance and development have both come on leaps and bounds. Updates with team is outstanding and all team members enquire how she is at drop off and give a detailed handover when we pick her up. The team put on activities every day and we are getting over-run with her art work! We are really pleased with the childcare centre and every team member we have come across. Our little girl has attended Kiddi Caru since January 2023.

She has developed lovely relationships with the team and kids and really enjoys going every day. The new app makes updates even easier as well as seeing a rundown of her day. The team are attentive and compassionate. It would be even better if the preschool outside space could be improved and use of the additional building be for something other than storage. Overall, I am really pleased with our journey here. My daughter has been at Kiddi Caru for 2 years and is now in the preschool room.

The team that works there are incredibly supportive, and are really welcoming and attentive towards the kids. Both of my kids adore going and run in each day. A range of activities are offered which they both seem to delight in and the team are focused on helping them learn and develop. I would highly suggest. My son and daughter both go to Kiddi Caru Day Childcare centre and are incredibly cheerful there.

The facilities are interesting, and he regularly brings home crafts tied to early years objectives. Updates through the app is clear and thorough.
Overall, the team are compassionate, skilled and really invested in the kids. As a new user of the childcare centre, I’ve been very impressed with how quickly the team have got to know and understand my son and help us to help him settle in.

They are fantastic at updating on her daily activities too and what she has been up to. Would definitely suggest. The location is excellent too! My daughter is really cheerful there and the team are excellent!
