Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Exeter, Matford Green

My baby enjoys all the different activities they do. They change things weekly and have different themes with a excellent variety of resources. The sensory room is fab too. excellent childcare centre, team are expert and welcoming.

exceptional team updates from the day and advice for how to deal with certain behaviours on collection. Could use a few more parking spaces in the car park. Seem to do lots of creative activities which is excellent. excellent facilities.

Both my kids have attended Matford Green, and I have nothing bad to say about any aspect.
The team are excellent and really care about your kid (a lot of the team still remember my first kid even though they left three years ago).
The facilities are excellent but only marked discovering and resources as (four) as Covid impacted my first kid’s “discovering” as my oldest left just as they were getting to that age and my youngest yet to reach that point.

And due to the lockdown when she was just six months old, I was very conscious of how she would be, being left with complete strangers. She had barely seen family let alone meeting new people. I mentioned this to the manager, who was extremely understanding and agreed we would do more settle sessions than normal. We started off with half an hour and built it up slowly until I went back to work. I won’t pretend by saying drop-offs were easy as they weren’t; however, the team were stellar, and I felt confident knowing once she had settled, she would delight in her time there. The facilities are outstanding, and toys, different rooms and the garden are some of the factors which sold the childcare centre to me. It took my little girl a great few months to really settle, and unfortunately, that was at the time she was due to move rooms. Which leads me to my only negative, which would be the amount of times they are moved to a new room; she found that hard. My daughter has been going to the childcare centre since she was approx ten months old.

Even though this childcare centre was the best we have visited, all four years ago, over that time, they have continued to perfect their services. They have never failed to respond to calls and requests. We consistently sense they know our kids very well, and we have never gone unnoticed. Food is extremely well-balanced and nutritious. Kids consistently seemed to sense secure and cared for, knowing their setting and catering. The childcare centre has been extremely supportive of my son’s transition to school and offers to communicate with the school directly to make sure they have got the best handover possible. When my daughter got serious health challenges, they went above and beyond to comfort us during the recovery process. Kiddi Caru has high standards for kids’s health and safety. We are extremely grateful for their care and can highly suggest this setting. We have been with Kiddi Caru at Matford for four years with my son, and now our daughter attends the childcare centre too.

I was a little nervous at first due to the number of kids that would be in the Pre school. He was a little hesitant the first couple of weeks with a few tears (from both of us) but he is thriving, the team are just fantastic, thoughtful and attentive. He has settled in so well, and I adore seeing his little cheerful face when I pick him up. The facilities are lovely, all the modern bits and bobs. lovely outside setting with lots of space to explore. I adore that they have resident animals to help teach the kids. Everyone has been so incredible with us, and they all look so cheerful to be there. Thank you so much. My son has only been at Kiddi Caru Day childcare centre for roughly 3 months (childcare centre closure meant having to find a new one).

My kid took a while to settle but is now really enjoying it, especially since moving to the Peepo room. I find it hard as a parent not being able to see what is going on behind closed doors and trusting someone unknown to look after your kid especially when they cry at drop off but I sense confident that she is well looked after. The team are very informative about her day at pick up, it’s really lovely to know how she has got on and I really like using Famly to see what she has been up to, what she has eaten etc. It’s not the cheapest childcare centre but they do cover long days and offer a varied menu that also caters for allergies, they change her bum regularly and she comes home in dry spotless clothes (I send her spare clothes in so she can get messy but I’m glad they change her to keep her comfortable). They have also been very great when she has needed medication. She’s only been there a few months but so far so great! I’ve been really cheerful with this childcare centre so far.

We really got the feeling that they would do anything and everything for the kids, we loved the regular updates on the parent app. The site was secure, secure and maintain really well so you got the feeling that it is carried on throughout the building.
Matford Green really is a credit to the whole company, we are enrolling our newborn asap. Thanks again Matford Green team. Our daughter went to Kiddi Caru since she was one and a half, the development we have seen in her is absolutely incredible, all team are polite, well presented and expert but also have the human personal touch and, most importantly, clearly care about the kids’s every need.

They really seem to care about the kids, and they challenge them on a daily basis. The food is really great, and they’ve got a excellent building and garden. All the team are excellent. Couldn’t be happier. We’ve had our two boys attend the childcare centre now over the past five years, and I can’t praise the team here enough.

The team in every room have been fantastic with him and he has developed into a sweet, gregarious little boy under their care. The childcare centre organise many outstanding activities for the kids including taking them on outings, looking after the guinea pigs, watching eggs hatch and attentive for the chicks in the spring and currently a diversity education course which has been happening weekly with an outside company who have been teaching him all about the world and all the incredible cultures around it. The menu is outstanding and they manage to get him to try things he would never consider at home. I would wholeheartedly suggest this childcare centre. Our son has been at Kiddi Caru Day childcare centre since he was just over a year old.
